I think 6 months ago something like that would've just crushed me, but I'm already over it.
Which is a good sign that I'm progressing as a player and handling stuff alot better. Broken mouse days are over.

@harrythepro - love Taxi Driver! and been meaning to check out Leaving Las Vegas for ages. Not a big Nicolas Cage fan but the movie sounds really good.

Got here on Sunday morning. Tuesday morning now.
First morning was a bit of a rush, getting off the plane about 8:30am, had to go pick up the rental car, drive 45mins into the suburbs to the house we're renting, drop our stuff off, and then get back into the city again before mid day for the first tournament.
Can't stand driving around in the city, even with iphone Maps we still managed to get lost a couple times.
Played the $150 Opening Event on the first day and busted AK vs 44 after an hour or so.
The poker room at Crown is so so sick but the tournament was run horribly. 11 handed tables, 20minute levels equals like 5 or 6 hands a level.
They must have got alot of complaints because lastnights $100 Event 3 was heaps better.
Still same structure, but tables capped at 9 handed, like it should be.
I managed to make a deep run but busted 9 from money, 36th / 255.

Was gonna have a little grind online but don't think I'll have enough time before tonights $150 Event 4.

Big TLDR post
So the Melbourne trip has come to an end. Flying home tomorrow around mid day.
The Series
Ended up skipping Event 4, as it had the same gay structure as the first 3 events, and missed flight 1c of the Main Event cause the rental car got a flat battery #supersupertilt
Main - 1a was uneventful. Made a K high call on Qd 9d 3x 4x 6x and he says "you got it" and shows A high

Then 99 into 1010 on 3 5 5.
Main - 1b was probably the most fun I've ever had playing poker. My phone died early in the night so couldn't get any stack pics, but I had a pretty big one.
Have always wanted to have a nice looking stack in a live event, like the ones you see on tv... can finally cross that off the wish list. Just wish I got to keep it longer
Had Joe Cabret, Aussie Millions runner up on my table and played a LOT of pots with him. Live reporting mentioned him as being one of the early chipleaders on the day before losing a bunch and busting. Yours truly was responsible for 90% of that
Hit a peak of 205k, and then everything went downhill last 2 levels and I busted 30mins before making day 2... after playing for like 9hrs, sigh.
Overall, was a fun series and feel way more confident playing live now after everything I've learnt this year.
Going to try and play a $2k main event in Sydney next week and will be making live poker a bigger priority for next year aswell.

Had my biggest score ever early in the month, chopping big $55 with the CL 3 handed... then took it easy for a week or so and then had the trip, so volume is terrible. av buy in is higher nowadays but I feel I'm game selecting well. Backers put me on 888 this week so I'm excited to get home and have 3 sites to play on/try some new tournies.
Really looking forward to getting on the grind again. I didn't get to play last Sunday and will miss this Sunday aswell, which sucks cause of the double vision stuff. Hoping December will be a big one, and really looking forward to 2014, getting a new PG&C thread started and taking the year super seriously with poker. Going to be setting some big goals and working way harder.
