Keep killing it mate, you are obviously progressively getting stronger and stronger with the constant increase of final tables and massive cashes.

Good luck mate.

Ty sir. Just gotta keep putting in the time and more results will follow.

Didn't cash in a single tourney over the whole weekend except for my VERY last one, $11 1R1A, where I FT'd but got 8th, AKcc vs JJ.
Putting in lots of volume and planning on playing everyday this week though, so hopefully get back to my winning ways.

Got a new av the other day for some run good too

how old are you? You are def gonna have to change ur schedule once you get to 25, playing all night just won't cut the mustard then (for most people anyway). Any tips for new players to ur stake levels (i.e. me). Im struggling to cope with the fact that most players seem really good at the higher levels and that it is really really hard to get chips of people. Gl dude

It's really not too bad. I wake up between 8 and midnight. Start anywhere between then but usually midnight, and finish up around midday.
I'm not sure I'll be playing full time at 25, I'm 21 now. Only planning to play full time like I am now for this year and next. Will depend how that goes, but I still want to do University at some point.

Yeah players are alot better now, just don't play too high.
Once you go over the $33s you notice the players are better. More regs etc.
If I was playing on my own money and really wanted to build a roll with the least variance, I'd probably cap myself at $33's, and would try play less Turbos.
As for playing just watch some strategy videos where they go through a hand history and discuss the hands. That will help alot. read through some forums and post hands/ask questions. and just play lots. MTT's suck for variance so need to put in the volume. glgl

Been having such a ridiculous run over the last week.
Am currently the deepest in MU I've ever been, and it's over the shortest amount of games.
Won't bother getting into the bad beats, but we all know them, the classic 2 outers, 3 outers. Really just getting sick of it. Still feeling motivated each and every day, but the session always ends as the last one did.
I haven't had more than 4 cashes in a single session for atleast a week. Most sessions are ending with 0-3 cashes. Keep in mind I'm playing 20-30 games a day.

Poker is just really annoying me at the moment, and then I wake up this morning and read an article about the govenment trying to shut down online poker in Australia, and how it's actually becoming a serious threat and might need to look into relocating. Which is obviously going to be tough with no money from running like a ball sack.

Am interested in getting a grind house together if this does go through. New Zealand, Mexico, Thailand, EU, I'd go pretty much anywhere that was affordable. Obviously the more grinders in the house, the cheaper it becomes. Chuck me a PM if anyones interested in this.

Now, Good news, finally made top 10 in my state on P5's. Not a big deal or anything but had been wanting to crack the top ten for a while, and feels good to cross a goal off the list.
1# isn't realistic as I'd need to be top 5 in the world. But nothing wrong with aiming for top 5!

Experienced what your going through not long ago. Was stuck in a big hole relative to my games and buy in level and felt like crap about it but it didn't stop me playing. Just like you.

It's these times you have to question everything you do. Really be hard on yourself and pick on anything.

Funnily enough it took one good Sunday before I went from being in a hole to cashing out $1k. My point is that these moments make you stronger. While they suck financially, they pay off long term.

I'm sure you know this but it's always reassuring to read I find. All the best man and you'll be back up very soon I'm sure of it.

GG on the leaderboard. In good company there. Looking forward to seeing you post about some nice scores and profiting. Best of luck!

Had a good session yesterday. Played during the daytime with the Big $27.50 etc.
Got 2 deep runs in the $11 2R1A and $11R+ 10k.
Bubbled the FT of the $11 2R1A, JJ to KJo, K flop, always a good one.
And got 4th for $1k in the $11R+ 10k.
Was hoping to win it for a second time but the FT just went horrid.

One mega fish took the chiplead early on and then sat out the remainder of the FT, not disconnected, just sat out. He took 3rd, I took 4th, sigh
4 and 5 handed play was obviously a weird dynamic given that this big stack was just sitting out with free blinds for the taking. When we got 4 handed, fred_volpe a "reg... lol" decided that he couldn't handle the big level pots we were getting into (that I was winning), so he turned it into a 30bb open shove game. He shoved/3b jammed 17/20 hands, finally when I opened A5o I snapped his shove and he had QQ. A flop, Q turn. Beautiful.
Obviously a suckout on the flop, but always nice to lose $1.5k with a Q on the turn. Would've been HU with 300k to my 1.2mil and the other guy sitting out. $2.5 for first. Somehow Fred managed to come 2nd and not ship. Haha gg.

Man, really love your thread layout and organization and find your MTT interesting. Your excel type of spreadsheet for all your MTTs is really neat and well done. Wouldn't mind seeing more pics of that, keep it up man.

I've been planning on going to Australia in late December/early January to do a 2014 SNE run at 6m hypers, on a working holiday visa. Thankfully NZ also has a WHV for Americans so that's become my back up if this election/post-election garbage turns out the way it seems it will.

but yeah if you decide on NZ i'd be down

Totally forgot to mention this, but I had 5% a couple weekends back of Reshafim87 who shipped the $320 Saturday KO.
So I got about 12 hundo out of that. Was my first time buying shares, had a couple other pieces of players but just break even/small loss. Ended up $1100+ for staking that weekend.

Thanks mate, for sure. Have been planning on writing up a new one recently since I started playing new stuff, but haven't got around to it. Will post once it's done.

Yeah I haven't been following the whole thing too closely, just waiting to hear from others.
But New Zealand is definitly a choice, I'm actually considering relocating, regardless of what happens with poker in Aus, just for a change and something exciting.
Hoping put it off till early 2014 though, and still having Australia as a choice would be nice.
Keep me updated on your progress getting over here!

Subbed! Good luck!

Do you need to pay tax with the earnings?

ty.

Nope, here in Aus we don't. I'm only 21, poker is my only income, so I actually don't even end up doing my 'taxes' haha. I use to last year when working though. Thank god that's over.

Here's a look at my new schedule.

Rather than making a set schedule, I decided to write out all the tournaments I would play in a 24hr space.
There's a 6 hour gap on Stars where there's nothing on that interests me, and I'll never play, so the schedule is really only 18hrs, not 24.
It runs from the Big $16.50 - The Hot $22. (5:30pm - Mid day, here in Australia)

Now it doesn't matter if I want to start my session at the beginning, middle, or end of the schedule... I just start recording my results from where I start.
This pic was a few days ago, right at the end of the schedule because I slept in. The whole things WAY longer.

Changed rooms the other day. Also never put up a pic of my new 29" LG monitor. Easily the best I've ever had. HIGHLY recommend!
