Hey, good luck with your goals! Saw you yesterday at my table during the Sunday Storm. Keep it up!
Edit: Sorry for asking this here, but how does one get staked?
Thanks mate. I just checked out some threads on 2p2 and pocketfives and started emailing off applications (links to your stats and scores, reasons you want to be staked, amount you can play, goals etc etc). I heard back from these guys within a couple of days and then you just go through the process of having your hand histories looked at and discussing the stuff you mentioned in the application. Was a really quick and smooth process for me, not sure if it's like that in all stables, but I recommend applying at the link below if your interested.
Hi, just saw your thread! Do you play professionally? If you are not then do you plan to do so in the future? Thanks and GL!
Hey, I wouldn't call it "professionally" but it's my only income and I play 3-6 days a week. Would like to one day follow the live circuits and play online aswell as a "pro" I guess.
ty, GL to you too.

Found this cool app for Google Chrome called "Smartsheet".
It's basically a way better version of Excel and I'm using it to keep track of my daily games.
You can attach stuff to certain days aswell, a hand history, word document, photo, whatever.
I use it to attach a screenshot of the lobby when I make a final table:
Managed to comeback and make final table, but the guy who ended up winning was the guy who sucked out with the AQ.
It was such a super soft final table that anything but the win was going to be dissapointing.
Would've been nice to tick off one of this months goals so early, but I guess I'll just save my Full Tilt bink for miniFTOPS.
Also got the $109 Sunday Kickoff added to my stake, replacing the $22 1R1A.
Bigger buy in and tougher field but the structure's alot better and the $ alot more tempting ha.
Final tabled my favourite tournament today. I don't even want to talk about how I got 7th, I'm so absolutely sickened.
The guy who came first, Pheonix, is the single worst player I've ever come across. Calling off 70bbs with 57o against AJcc - 8 9 10 3 J.
I actually think he was playing with tape over the hole cards or something, there's no other way to explain how bad he was.
And of course, as you can guess, he busted me.
The icing on the cake was that he was Russian and understood little english, however he understood enough to type in "YOU SUCK, YOU SUCK, SUCK MY BALLS, YOU SUCK"
every time he knocked someone out (which was ALWAYS with the worst hand).
So depressed he shipped it.

True. I know it does not sound good after loosing FT the way u did, but next time u should be just happy when he comes to your table
And yeah, he won sick amount of bounties lol
Yeah haha I just kept telling myself that afterwards. Just so frustrating to open up the table an hour or so later and see he binked!
Also should've made it more clear, the 57o vs AJ wasn't me, that was just one of the many skilled calls I saw him make throughout the final table against another guy haha.
The hand he got me on:
I'd just won a 3 way pot AA vs KK and KQ, was 2/7 after starting the final table as 7/9.
At this point, given stack sizes and the players, I didn't think there was even a possibility I didn't make heads up atleast. Was a heaps soft table, and I was just waiting to snap Phoenix with 4 high and have him dominated lol.
Very next hand I pick up JJ, min to 14k utg+1. HE FLATS. Shorty with 60k shoves. I overshove 350k into phoenix's 500k because I was 100% certain he was calling with absolutely any two cards...
I cant stress this enough... literally
ANY TWO CARDS.
Tiny score from yesterday.
I play this tourney on the side every time I grind so was good to FT it. But I stupidly forgot that players at this level don't think about their opponents hand, so I 3 barreled a good board for it, with air...
but he called down with a gutshot draw and hit it, eugh. I dunno what's more tilting, the fact I made an unnecessary play, or the fact he just called river with the nuts...
Either way, busted shortly after A6 into AK.
Think I might've played the FT a bit too aggro cause I was really only interested in going for the win cause of the tiny payouts.
Highlight of the tourney was asking for a deal 4 handed as a joke and 2 of the players responding "I'll take a look at numbers" haha.
Played really well today minus one levelling war, blind vs blind where I made a stupid call with 14 left.
Cashed in alot of stuff and had 4 deep runs in the final 2 tables, but no Final Tables. Pretty disappointing, but feeling really good about my game.
I haven't had a win for maybe a month now, but I'm making FT's, lots of deep runs, and having lots of break even/small profit days which is good to stop the makeup from increasing.
I know it's only a matter of time so I'm just gonna keep putting in as much volume as I can.

Gold Status - is looking good so far. Aslong as I don't skip too many days I should make it fine. 750 MTT's - I'm only on about 270 at the moment because of the next goal, 10 tables or less, which I've been sticking to and REALLY noticing the difference.
But I think I might be able to make it, maybe. miniFTOPS - not on yet Win Full Tilt MTT - I've come close and had some FT's, but no ships yet.
I'm putting most of my volume back on stars because by the time I reg for the good stuff I'm close to, or already on 10 tables. Saving the bink for FTOPS. Books - Still on Theory of Poker. Didn't like it at first, thought it was too outdated and didn't apply enough for online but it's growing on me.

This whole video is just so good. Have been watching it on my second monitor, while the tables are less, when I first start a session to get me in the grind mood.
Hellmuth never gets old.
Also, shout out and congrats to Alen "lilachaa" from my stable for shipping the Big $5.50 today for $5.5k, only had to get through 7.2k entrants. No idea how he does it, GJ

GL everyone with their Sunday grinds!
