2016 Recap!
Hi all, I'm back! This thread more or less died pretty quickly, mainly because I had some private issues in the beginning of the year which cost me a few months of grinding. I'm probably going to restart the thread to track some stuff and see where it goes.
Anyway, I actually had a pretty good year!
I took some time off poker to travel a bit and do some stuff I always wanted to do. I went to the European Championships in Paris, went to Barcelona with a few stable friends, visited Ecuador and Colombia, and traveled to a bunch of other European countries. During these trips I met a lot of great people and I definetly learned a decent amount from others or from other cultures. Really motivating and refreshing for the mindset.
As far as poker results, it was pretty good actually. I played fairly low volume and focussed a lot more on improving and game quality rather than grinding as much as possible. The last 15 months my mindset changed a lot about this stuff and it seems like it paid off. Shout out to my Apex partners B3RTstare and Like_A_Fox who definetly helped me improving as a player and as a professional staker and investor.
Sooo... Graphs?!
This graph is from the last 15 months of which I played about 10 months. Pretty happy with the results
It's a mix of 3/6 - 25/50.
I also played a few MTT's, but didn't really bother to keep playing them a lot since I like cash more now and I think hourly wise MTT's aren't that interesting either. It's basically putting in big hours which I tried to get rid of a bit. From time to time I still enjoy playing them and I coach a decent amount of MTT guys still.
Biggest results are shipping the Bigger 55 for around 30k$ and a 13th place in the SCOOP 1k$ Main Event for around 20k$.. That one did hurt a bit with like 750k$ up top
Graph last year, lol volume:
So overall got fairly close to 200k$ profit which is really nice considered the months I took off too!
2017
I'm not 100% sure yet about my plans for 2017, but will definetly play some mid/hs cash and I might play the COOPs/other Series a bit..I'm hoping to achieve similar results, but we'll see
Traveling is also one of the things I love to do so will for sure try to make some cool trips! Other than that I'm focussing on my stable too since I love to help people out.
Last but not least, I think it's worth a mention:
Right now I'm in Curacao with one of my horses, Jepser8. Big shout out to this guy because of his fast improvements. We started a coaching and stakingdeal in April when he just played an abi of like 3$. Right now he plays an abi of like 35$ with very promising results after going pro for only about 6 months. Huge accomplishment and very interested to see where it goes. If you'd like to follow, this is his thread:

Good luck all!
