at 25nl, completely unecessary

im sure you know but its just spew

as for the 3bet hand, sure 3betting is fine but then deciding the barrel off with pretty much 0 equity is kinda hopeful.

Still, he called your 3bet, so i'd put him on 77+, AJ+ in the first place, and he'd likely to call this flop with A high aswell if he's a station

You guys disagree that if he snapcalls he prob doesnt have flush draw and Kx?
Step by Step at 25NL by IveGotUrOuts Quote

i always read snap calls as them having a hand that they know there 100% always calling with and generally slow reactions/hesitations as being weak and not really knowing what to do.

Hmm, ok. Guess we disagree in that case. I see a snapcall as a ''std'' call, so just not a close decision. Like with Ax on Axx or QJ on Jxx. When they have the nuts however on a 2tone board or a draw, I think they always take a few sec to think what to do.

Fwiw, lost again lol. Maybe I should move down to 10nl.

Hmm, playing a session now and the roller coaster of emotions is there again. First started winning and added some tables (pretty dumb) because I felt I was crushing. This morning felt that I couldn't beat the limit. Also, after the hot run, lost some very std spots, and felt bad. 3 tables now, regaining some focus, and gonna play 6 again when I feel bit better. Dunno why I am posting here though now, but just needed to write it down I guess.

Mehh, college in a few minutes (started this week after nice holiday), but will try to grind 4 hours today on 6 tables and also study 2 hours for that course since I don't understand it very well lol. Need to refresh some stuff from past years. Will keep you guys updated.

Just grinded first session, 73 minutes and 6 tables. Felt like I played close to A-game, so happy with my performance. Didn't raise enough c-bets imo (something I am working on atm), but felt like I didn't face nice spots where ranges are weak. Felt like I did won a bit, but apparently it was just break-even, lol.

weird hand... are they a good/well known reg?

i guess to him he expects you to cbet msot PP's that you dont bet turn with like 66-88 and overpairs obv, youd bet fd's as well, probs overcard + bd fd type hands as well. you'd cbet 9x too. so your turn bet only looks like spade fd's + air.

im thinking the hand looks wp by him but i think thats because im being results orientated.

i do think he should be raising turn as well as unless the board pairs any river card is gnna suck.

I can easily have 5x or 7x here if I suspect him to c/r this board a bit and also 2x. It is one of those spots where he has almost a bluffcatcher imo, so thin valuebets always make money, and bluffs make money if he calls only 0-60% of the time, so he is getting owned no matter what vs my range if he calls a hand like that.

Spew of the day, or wasn't it?

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $0.25(BB) Replayer
SB ($82.30)
Hero ($30.25)
UTG ($25)
UTG+1 ($23.30)
CO ($25.35)
BTN ($26.05)

Dealt to Hero Q K

fold, UTG+1 raises to $0.75, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $2.50, UTG+1 calls $1.75

FLOP ($5.10) J 4 3

Hero bets $2.43, UTG+1 raises to $5.75, Hero raises to $9.07, UTG+1 raises to $20.80 (AI), Hero calls $11.73

TURN ($46.70) J 4 3 J

RIVER ($46.70) J 4 3 J 6

Hero shows Q K
(Pre 43%, Flop 28.4%, Turn 0.0%)

UTG+1 shows A J
(Pre 57%, Flop 71.6%, Turn 100.0%)

UTG+1 wins $44.70

Figured he was FOS on flop, so decided to click it back. When he shoved, I only had to win like 25% of the time, and since I thought he almost always had Jx and could even have worse, I decided to call. Did timebank and stoved vs AJ and turned out had enough equity to call. But yeah, prob should have folded vs flopraise lol. And for the people who say they can also raise QJ, KJ on flop: I do believe that regs never do that at 25nl.

what 5x/7x do you have in ur utg range? A5s/56s? 78s? thats pretty wide. dnt rly see what 2x you can have either.

also, if ur opening hands like A5s/A7s/78s from utg, then surely ur going to be cbetting 2nd pairs too? agree that you check back a tonne of 2nd pair type hands if u expect him to c/r a decent amount.

im not sure what hands u can bet thin either as its i dnt see what worse hands call u except bluff catchers?

jsut imo ofc.

Just played a short session of 30 minutes, and did record it, because a poker buddy offered to review it. Played pretty well obviously (don't want him to make fun of me), but have 1 hand for you guys after I did quit the recording:

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $0.25(BB) Replayer
Hero ($25.10)
BB ($19.46)
UTG ($20.26)
UTG+1 ($41.35)
CO ($31.20)
BTN ($38.73)

Dealt to Hero Q K

fold, fold, CO raises to $0.75, fold, Hero raises to $2.50, fold, CO calls $1.75

FLOP ($5.25) 4 J 8

Hero checks, CO bets $2.80, Hero folds

CO wins $5.01

Villain was 14/9 after 50 hands, so I would say the only thing that I know is that it was more likely a tight than a loose player. On flop I don't see what he can fold, so decided to c/f. What do you think about that?

Allright, did grind 4.5 hours 2day, so happy with my performance. Also went sporting, but didn't study. Definately planned too much on the same day. Gonna try to do it better 2morrow

Guy watched already a few minutes of my vid, and thinks I 3bet way too much, and don't iso fish enough and don't use different betsizing vs fish enough, so going to work on that.

Make it 6 hours. Guy offered to sweat me a bit, so decided to play one more session. Need to win around 10BI more before I am going to take a 50nl shot. This guy also said my c-bet sizing is pretty bad, so this is def the main point atm I have to work on.

Same goal as yesterday basically. Went in morning to uni, and going to try now to grind 4 hours. No sports 2day though, so it should be easier.
