Hey everyone,

I haven't played poker in several years. I had studied the game a ton in University and lately I've had a hankering for tournament play.

I used to play NL 2 - 25 on Full tilt, did relatively well for myself ( Busted several $100 BR's and once I got better I grinded up to >$2K ).

I deposited $50 and I have a few short term objectives for myself.

Play ~ 1K hands per day, 8 tables of full ring.
Follow relatively safe BRM , 25 BuyIns minimum before taking shots.
Post progress here every few thousand hands.
Make sure I have at least 10K hands with a positive bb/100 at NL 2 before moving up to NL 5 ( This one seems ridiculous but I need to make sure I'm playing good ABC poker before I start playing for more money).
Post interesting hands here, this is my first time posting on 2+2, I want to keep it up!

If you have any questions or comments let me know, I also live in Montreal so if anybody is going to the Playground I'm always down for a trip (My bankroll is nowhere near there yet )

Results for my first ~4K hands.
I ran pretty good, I'll make sure to get some volume in ASAP.

Update #1,

things are going pretty well!
The biggest challenge so far is convincing the girlfriend me play.

I've doubled my bankroll! Up from $50 USD to $102!

I'm going to be looking at taking NL 5 shots relatively soon.

One of the biggest problems I've spotted with my play is just playing very poorly in 3 bet pots, I need to tighten that up before it costs me too much money.

Nothing too interesting to report hands-wise. I've been playing boring A,B,C poker and just value betting hands.

So far about 19 bb /100 ,
Playing 18 / 14 / 6 / 2.59

Cheers!
