I thought my first post here should be about my goals. I'm going to keep my first goal small. I'm like everyone else and have dreams of the high stakes but I should probably get of the couch before I start running marathons. My first goal is just to become a competent micro grinder. I have a $100 in at ACR and I'm staring at the 2nl 6-max games with maybe a few micro MTT's mixed in. With my work I spend a lot of time in a hotel so I have plenty alone time to play and study. Although some have said that Harrington's Online Cash Games book is outdated I think it's an appropriate place to start my studies as a noob. I plan on working through that and then The Grinders Manual. I also have Kill Phil to study for MTT's. I'll post weekly results and interesting hands that come up.

Well I kinda donked around for a week or so on ACR not really sure what I wanted to play. Tried some sng's, cash and tourney's. Pretty much breaking even. Then I discovered SNG 2.0. I think these are my jam. I know right now I'm on the good side of variance but I've played them for about a week now and I've doubled my meager $100 BR. I'm still planning on studying up on 6max NLHE but I'm going to mainly focus on the 2.0's for now. Right now my comfort level is 2 tables but hope to move up to 3 then 4 within the next couple months. Started the week with $101 in the ACR account and finished with $213 (a few ACR bonuses added to this.)
The $5.50 2.0's are a little out of my BR's range, I'd really prefer to have 70 buy-ins. But, I have a decent job and can always deposit more. New Goal is to build the roll up to play the $11 2.0's.
