Thanks @PokerDubs.
Didn’t play at all this weekend. Kids are all fall break and we did some family stuff.

Tbh, poker hasn’t been too exciting for me lately. Only has been when the money mattered some. Those games I hv to travel for and that takes time and energy. HSI has some gd 1/2 straddles games that pop up every now and then, but when they aren’t popping it is horrible. Its slowly getting worse.

The market gets me excited. Days I’m not playing poker, I just watch and read up about certain companies from opening to closing bell, Monday thru Friday. Love when the money pays off.

Things coming Up

Heading to see some fall colors, drink bourbon, and listen to gd music in Nashville this weekend. The following weekend, plan on staying in Cincy for sm bigger stakes. That will put us into Nov. where I been eyeing a Vegas trip. Prob won’t, but been on my mind. Soon year will b over and debating on 2019 goals.

Are you still planning on getting the Tesla?

Are you thinking about poker goals for 2019 or just life goals?

Tesla: next big purchase will def b a new vehicle. Preferably an ev. This will happen when i turn the 60k into 100k. At that time (in a year) I will start looking at models. The NIO Eve looks the illest at the moment. https://youtu.be/tkoDqS9yhRE

Goals: yup. The #semiretired life got me lazy. Haven’t been playing that much and lost some motivation. The last year or so been really chill. Can’t complain, it’s nice, but I think I want more, need more. Not done yet. A goal of some sort has to be in order to motivate me again.
I got sm wild thoughts today to “maybe” try to tackle this 40k challenge again. Its really my only option here. Do I really try this for a 4th time?

Eyeballing any cannabis stocks with the impending legalization in Canada? I would think that market will blow up similar to Colorado. Gotta be a handful of companies coming out on top.

Yup I hv been eyeing them. Crazy variance. not so sure if some will be getting out over the next week. Taking their profits w them. Seems like it’s starting today where most are in the red. Some bounce back has been made since but I think I’m gonna hold off for now. Man, Wish I wd hv got in way before today’s legalization in Canada.
Been looking at MGNA. Just .25c/share w some nice potential upside. Again volatile tho, but that’s my style. Unlike weed stocks, this seems more predictable in the short term.

We buy today.

A good friend of mine seems to like TGODF - I'm going to have to look into that one. I think the cannabis stocks will be up over the next year or so.

Nice little 40% pop pre market. Wish I bought more than 4000 shares yesterday. I’ll still take a $400 profit.

We need to apply and do the necessary paperwork to open shop in our state for when it comes here. Only a matter of time.

Ok TSW, u swayed me.
I’m entering a couple small positions in CRON and CGC. Cramer, as much as I despise him, thinks CGC is the Amzn of pot. I picked these 2 because both are fairly new start-ups. cRON went public in Feb and CGC in May of this year, so they’re fairly early in the stock game w room to run.
1k on both, so just a little sweat. Not sure I will add to this position.

Did throw $15k on Tilray prior to ceo talking on CNBC this morning. Banged out a couple hundred during his talk, and sold before it was over. I find these tactics to b +ev w the right stock and right person getting interviewed about their company. Buy before they come on and sell before it ends.

Gratz on the hit n run market plays rayz. I love the semi agressive non greedy tactics for quick profits.

Im still down to grab a bite if you want ... Grinding life got me a little lonely lmao.

I'd like to see the 40k challenge ... Basically doing it nyself lol ...

The games last week were insane ... The day you were in ohio i played in the biggest 1/2 game ive ever seen. 5k stack, 4k stack, 3 2k stacks .... It was playing as a 1/2/10 game thanks to the 5k stack. Pots went like ... Straddle 10 ... Raise to 45 ... Repop to 150 ... Rerepop to 500 .... This **** happened multiple times. So many 1k preflop pots in a 1/2 game ... Insanity

@Pdubs say what’s up sometime. I’ll b back on that hsi grind soon. Heading to NashVegas today for the weekend, then Cincy next weekend. Then start grinding days at HSI in Nov.

We are loading up more and averaging down. Staying right with the price.
Can we get that reversal? Can we get a pop? Do we hold this or flip this? We gamble. NogbleNoFutr

I am not sure what you like about FCEL. It is burning cash and will have to dilute share holders. Fuel cells as a technology is a niche market that has poor macro economics as long as natural gas is plentiful and cheep. I would love to hear you thesis on this one.

Everything u said is correct. It’s trying times for FCEL. That said, I think it’s all been priced in the stock. For me, personally I think it’s been oversold, and under a $1 is a gd buy for a decent flip. I prob won’t hold long.
It is a niche market, but other companies in this sector have been positive of late.
In recent movements, HYGS up 15% last month, BLDP up 20% last 3 months, PLUG up 8% last week. I am hoping these small gains from others can help lift up FCEL.
FCEL has been plummeting hard, down 55% last year, 33% last 3 months, 11% last month, but break even last week. To me, it’s looking like the trend is near bottom and hoping for a reversal. Will it happen? Not sure. I hv seen a double bottom at .95, so next week will be interesting to watch.
It’s reasssuring to see BlackRock w a huge invest in them at a higher cost basis. Following smart money can’t hurt. It’s promising to see contracts FCEL has w Toyota and Exxon. 2 huge companies that cd provide huge growth.

Clean energy is the future. I wanna a piece of all of them.
As it’s been said, I am a rookie trader that has found success so far. I don’t claim to know everything. These are just my thoughts where I am willing to put my money where my mouth is. I don’t invest my money on a whim or just throw darts. I wait for the right time. I have waited months to load up on FCEL under a dollar. Now that it is here, I am not going to go against all my beliefs.

Thanks for the reply. I am with you that clean energy is the future but I am not sold on fuel cells. Battery tech has many interesting thing going on that make me feel better than fuel cells.

Some of this comes down to style I am always looking at the long term. Just how I am wired when investing. The long term for FCEL is gross imo.

As a trade I am unqualified to comment but see your thought process. I would just personally be cautious about getting in to deep to a business with questionable long term prospects.

Hope you get it to pop.

Delisting is a scare tactic. It’s a whole process that takes time. Hardly ever happens.
I sure do hope I don’t lose it all either!!!!!!

Bad news: down about $2k today...so far in the market.
Good news: got avg down from .97 to .94. My goal was to get an avg of .95, so I feel gd about it.

Now let’s talk about it. So much money on the line that each and every day will be a swing. Most of what I am reading about FCEL seems positive, so now we just wait. Sit back and buckle up.

Okay. We’re now down -$3k today...so far.
We also almost all-in. Sold off a few other stocks to be able to load up more on FCEL.
Got avg down now to .93cents/share.
