How many bullets are you taking to the vloggers game?

What is the travel time to the casinos you play?
My local casino hasnt had a poker room in years and it really is a bummer.
Closest "good" game at a casino is 2hrs away.
Or theres michigan charity rooms about an hr away. But they can only run certain hrs and can only sell $15k in chips a night.
Sucks having a bad beat and not being able to rebuy.

50hours qualify for 5k chips
100 hours get 7,500 chips
151 get 10k chips

I'm assuming blinds will start at 25/50 w 15 min levels.

$10 add on for 2,500 chips. Tourney ends at 20 players. Those 20 get $500.

62 players qualified.
Only 1 w the max 10k chips, estimated 10 w 100 hours, estimated 50 w the min chips.

My prediction is 7 players will be a no show, leaving us w 55 in the field.

Can anybody offer strategy? My thoughts are everyone will b playing tight. Do I counter that w aggression? Or try to nit my way to the money.

If we make the $, PER $40k rules we CANNOT count the $500 towards challenge. A bit of a beat; since we earned these hours playing 1/2. But, rules are rules and the dude abides.

Play aggressive. Noone will be playing back at you and folding to the money from the start is silly to try. Run up a monster stack, then calm down. Bubble pressure would be fun to flex but probably wont be necessary.

Played a draw aggressively, and hit otr last night.

Opened $8 ($500 stack) w 68 got 4 callers.

Pot $32. Flop: 9Q4.

I'm first to act and bet a small $10, and get 2 callers (both cover).

Pot $64. Turn: 7

I check, 2nd player checks, cutoff reg bets $50. I ch/raise to $200 with $200 behind. P1 folds, cutoff tank calls.

Pot $464. River: 10

I put the rest in ($200) w my straight. Cutoff calls.

Straight>? No show
