Well our table (table 8) got short handed, w no one on the list. It quickly went from 7 to 5 players, to 4, and then just 3 remained. At that point the table broke and we drew for the 2 open seats at the other tables. I just told the 2 players they can have it.
I called it a day.
+$778 on 5hrs 52mins.

We surpassed last year's earnings. The month isn't over though, so anything can happen.

I hope u enjoyed the live thread.

I'm heading home w a few more Benjamins in my pocket.

Hard work pays off.

I played a ton of poker where Ray plays and cincy. Out of all the big regs who play the big plo games, i dont know a single person who pays taxes on their cash game winnings.

How many of those players have been on the internet detailing their lives with readily available information tying their internet handle to their real name and admitting that they don't pay taxes on their winnings?

It is just a risk not worth taking! That question should just be left unanswered (and to be fair, unasked since it's pretty much asking "do you pay taxes or break the law?)

I agree, it's in bad taste. It's like asking someone how much money they make, it's just not something that people should do.

N route. The last day of grinding before Xmas break.
In the words of @callygal lets "do da damn thang."

So pumped and motivated on this drive to the poker room.
Prob shdnt b texting and driving. Most of it is at the stop lights. Btw, I'm not perfect. Far from it. I try my best, but fall short many times.

So happy to b so driven/hungry after a dozen years of playing poker. I still have that passion and drive to achieve greatness. It's awesome to b able to still hv those happy feelings of anticipation on my drives to the poker room.

Let's get after it.

Just read your entire journey, man what patience and persistence you have.. Keep up the grind and elevate to the next level when you can. Who knows, you may eventually be playing in Bobby's room or Ivey's room in Vegas some day.
Thanks for the honesty, and sharing the ride with everyone.
Great thread! GL sir.

I've not saw how many hours in total your at for the year?
I've only logged 1025 this year but i was lazy last year only logging 686 hours, so i guess i'm moving in the right direction. You can't do well in this game if you're not willing to put in the hours!

Happy Christmas and an Excellent New Year to everyone ITT

Happy Xmas to u as well.

I haven't logged the hours I set out for me in 2015. My goal was to log an avg of 25hr work week.
Currently...Let's calculate it now...

• I hv 1,123.5 hrs of live cash.
• In addition I hv 74 hrs of live tourneys.
= 1,197.5 total hrs as of 12/24/15
Divide that by 51 weeks (1 wk to go).
= 23.5 hrs /wk YTD.

I hv noticed that 4 to 6 hrs a day is gd for me. It keeps me fresh, and my mind focused for those 4-6 short hours.
When I play, I want to b at my best, so I actually think these 4-6 hr session allows peak performance. Volume is important, but too much (40+ hrs/wk) can wear u down physically and mentally. Find a gd hourly zone the works for u, and always grind at your best.

Do not fear, 2+2 family. Those of us at HSI who have had enough of a certain players behavior will be talking to a friendly IRS representative soon.

Happy holidays!

Probably winning their money.

The nice thing about self reporting income is that you can have a $10,000 downswing the last two weeks of the year and not talk about it on 2+2. And not talk about monetary numbers at all next year...

Today: only thing that matters today is the UofL and UK game at noon. This is a big game around here with many people divided.
I live in Southern Indiana which is 10 minutes to the Yum Center where UOfL plays their home games, and couple hours to cor(RUPP)t arena where UK plays.

The game starts in 20 minutes, but I'm sure UK is already in the bonus. Lol.

Joking aside, this is a HUGE game in these parts.

U don't want these Cards. LG

The Yum, hookers and blow center you mean?

Seriously though, both basketball programs are so corrupt it's hilarious. I'm glad we were able to beat UK last Saturday!

B-SYM,
Just remembered I played down at the Horseshoe Southern Indiana about five years ago over Christmas (for about 4 days)so I may have played against you at some point? Two things I remember was a late night 1/2 game that turned into a fun_insane pre-flop raise fest where guys where tossing in UTG+1 raises of $100 before cards were dealt. And second was some good ole boy who fell over backwards out of his chair and hit the floor hard when I rivered a King on him to take a huge pot.
Random sht I know, but I did have some great times down there. And you're right, the road in is dangerous!

Live long and prosper,

Spent the last month reading your journey. Inspiring story on many fronts. Congrats on hitting the triple threat! Mine are 9, 7, 3. That's some ugly flop but wonderful family, the addition of a third takes it up a factor of 100, gl.

Enjoyed the story and journey, I hope you finish strong for 2015 and continue to post to the thead and vlog.

My one observation is I think you get it all in for a flip too much pre flop. Worth a look if you ask me.
