For the past few weeks I've been studying how to play in the heads-up small blind (preflop and flop cbet opportunity). My winrate in that position in the last 1400 games in PokerStars is very high: chipEV/game of 37, while a good EV winrate in this position is around 15-25 chips per game. In the first 500 games in Winamax guess what do i have. Correct! 37 cEV/game.
Around these days I will finish studying preflop of heads-up big blind. I realize I'm 3betting less than I should and folding vs open raise more than I should.

A little more about myself, I'm also an actor and today I have an audition for a play. I play a drunk man, thankfully I've got experience on that field (jk (although not so much)).

Back to poker: I'm feeling a bit sad about numbers going down but I need to understand that I'm not supposed to dominate the game only the things I studied. And I studied a bit of 'in position play when heads-up' and on that position the winrate is very good. I just have to do that with every other position.

Do you play for some pool? Or do you play for yourself? Nice topic.

Thanks man! I already had a couple of rehearsals. I haven't played much but I finished studying someting, how to adjust when my oponent limps in the small blind. Now I can't wait to play and put all the new knowledge into work.

I also have experience in that field (not acting though).

How is the rakeback/perks? Are you getting any right now at $10 spins? I mainly play cash games myself.

Hi Stumeister, thx for being here. The rakeback was pretty good in Pokerstars but then they took it away. Now I'm playing in Winamax and nothing for now but if I keep playing I will get a good status and maybe I can hope for like 30% rakeback.

By the way, some numbers from february:
Only played 660 spins with 44.4 chipEV/game.
My chipEV/game on the heads-up small blind is 37.3 which is extremely good. And my chipEV/game on the heads-up big blind is -3.7 which is extremely bad (it should be around 2-12).
So the plan is clear: study out of position play!

I started the month pretty great.



My chipEV/game is 117. If I can end the omnth with 60 cEV I'll be pretty happy. I don't want it to be like February, good start, terrible ending.

Tomorrow I'm going to rehearse with my classmates. We release the play in 2 weeks. I'm super excited. Will be my 2nd gig.

Just had an awful session. Lost €150 and -80 cEV.

Got a lot of top pair vs better top pair and also coolers preflop.
I feel a bit lost sometimes on turns and rivers but I'm good at the things that I've studied so all I need to do is keep going. My game heads-up is pretty good I just have to study faster so I can move to other positions.

By the way I'm happy with my game on HU SB --> 30 chipEV/game on 500 spins this month.

This against a aggro player (he was open shoving weak hands preflop). I don´t block flush draws and K/Q-high and I wouldn't be surprised if he played like that a 7x or 3x. Still not sure about this call.

There's a new Capitano.
1) I'll start playing regularly. I'll start with 3 hours a day. You may think that isn't much but in comparison to what I'm used to it's a lot more volume.
2) Stop looking at the graph the graph while in game. In fact just al it every 3rd day.
3) Bluffcatch more on the river. I studied a bit when to call when I face a probe on the river.
4) Wake up early in the morning.

I want to play more and so I need to reduce the stress. There for I'm quitting the €10 spins (in which I'm break even at best) and going back to the €5 (I should be a big winner on this stake). I gotta start to take this more seriously. Only that way I'll be able to travel the world playing High Stakes.
