I've got some money I want to invest, but don't know where to put it. Anyone know anything about Amazon? Yes/No?

Actually most of you guys seem to know nothing about investing in general. Amazon has been one of my big winners but I do a balanced holding of stocks, bonds, ETF indexes, REIT's, dividend paying stuff.

Basically I have zero chance of losing everything unlike OP who is purely gambling.

AMZN is probably less than 10% of my portfolio now, I took most of the profits.

Read up on Vanguard and Buffett. they know more.

Played a couple hours and left after some classic HSI.

One 1/2nl going. Senior Event 12p.
Time is 11:30am and 3 guys at our table plan on playing the senior event.

Classic HSI opens another 1/2nl table w 6 players on the list at 11:45am.

Noon - 12:30p both live action games lose players to senior event tourney. #ClasicHsI

New table that opened, Table 11, now has 5 players. Our table has 5. We both play short handed for a while.
Not long after we lose another player. Dealer asks floor for a $2 rake. Mr.
Classic Floor shakes his head no. #ClassicHSI

Within a minute of his decline,, I grab a rack and head for the door.
Mr. Floor and Classic HSI goes from keeping a game running to a game breaking.
No surprise at all. #ClassicHSI

I decided to read a couple of articles about NIO to educate myself outside this thread! This article eviscerates NIO. Good Luck Rayz, you’re going to need it!

Rayz is like alot of novice investors who have tunnel vision. he's enamored with one stock and because he lost money with it he has to double down on it.

He would have made way more money just throwing it all in in an S&P 500 or even Nasdaq index.

Hell, if he bought Starbucks he would have had 50% gains in the last year.

But he'll get burned cause he doesn't know how to invest.

Not gonna sit here and bash them but they definitely do some goofy **** sometimes.

I remember once my table was 4 handed and there were 4 open seats on another game. Instead of merging them they made us wait for call-in players LOL. I was like "if I leave, will you let the other 3 join that game" and they just gave me a dirty look and said "we would break the table yes, but just wait 5 minutes".

I waited it out, but on the hour they did high card and I won a tourny entry. I asked if it was transferable and they said "uh, yea i guess" and said "good, who wants it". Then I sold it to a guy and left.

This is just one of I'm sure 100 examples (like yours) of them just doing goofy ass **** sometimes. Granted I have never ran a poker room.

Running a poker room shd b cake. Cater to the players as much as possible and everything else shd fall n place.

Got my first inquiry about the PVG. Priced at $900 im not trying to hard to get rid of it. $750 prob more reasonable. Texter Guy is thinking about it.
I’m down to $600 life/poker roll! I decided to go ahead and pay my portion of the Spring Taxes. That $ w some other bills quickly took us to 2 buy ins.

Trying my best to hang onto PVG Scooter but may have to lower it to $750 if we can’t run it up next week.

Damn it’s hard to get ahead. Props to all those doing it better than I.

Paid off house.
Happy and healthy family.
30k + in investments.
Doesn't have a 9 to 5 job that makes him want to end it all.

Rayz, Haters are going to Hate. Happy Easter.

He is day trading on margin and leveraged to the hilt. That 30k was 60k IIRC and from a HELOC. So using debt to gamble in stocks. If Rayz was young and single going broke wouldn't be such a big deal.

but he has a wife and kid and is literally betting the house on high risk stock picks.
