You felling ok Rayz?

In this thread and al your vlogs you seem like the nicest guy possible. And I commend you and our family life. But since this game took place (including the game itself) you have come off as a prick (not calling you on just saying it can be perceived this way)

In fact I feel this is the exact behavior that makes poker the worst ever for pure entertainment value (which is where we make our money from) Why travel thousands of miles to sit with 8 people you KNOW are good players. That makes zero sense. You should have gone to compare notes. Enjoy yourself. Show people watching you are who your vlog character is and shownits not just an act

But literally everything you have posted/tweeted since the game has been very very stand off ish and down right douchy (including the comments of Bart. Yes his live commentary was sub par but if you watch any of his YouTube vids he has tons of knowledge)

Again sorry to be blunt but I fee you should know how this all looks even though I know you don't care which in itself is a positive trait lol (weird how that works)

Keep up what your doing. But imho this PVG has done much more harm to you than good and the good was supposed to be the purpose of the game

And one last note. I feel it also hurt some of the others (neeme boski and Owen as wel...cause they appeared NOTHING like the character they have created in their vlog)

End rant

Keep trucking and doing you. I am stil a fan

I respect that.
I never claimed to b perfect. I am just me.
I think the disconnect that people are missing is I cd less about this whole poker vlogging thing. I'm just documenting my poker journey via this thread and UTube. Not looking to grow my channel, make money from it, open up a shirt shop, or be anything else.

Once again I respect your opinion. I like people who shoot straight.

i had a question about two hands you played

the hand you had aa, what was the purpose of betting the river with a one liner to a straight? you got called by worse in this situation, but i dont think thats the case 99% of the time.

on the qq hand, did you check the turn for pot control ( thinking he was slow playing something), or for deception

2 simple questions I'll try to answer as I walk through Walmart w the fam.

•As played AA is underrep from the jump, and $35 otr is a bit of a blocker. I didn't want to get bluffed off if checked, and at the same time felt I had the best hand so didn't want to go to showdown. I respect ur opinion of thinking it's not the case 99% of the time. This is why poker is poker. Everyone thinks differently.
•QQ I checked turn to get max value otr. Wanted it to look like I had AK and get wrongly heroed otr to my $400 bet. I think if I bet $200 turn, I may not get another street of value otr. Who knows? Usually in poker on avg one gets 2 streets of gd value. I knew I had the best hand on turn so pot control wasn't even a factor. I was setting him up to hero (wrongly) my river bet.

Actually the commentators were in line w my thought process here. They got those 2 right

i wasn't at the table, so i guess i'm just looking at it from what i would have done. the reason i would probably bet the turn is that i think there are a lot of action killing cards that might come in on the river ( front door flush, a, k etc... ) i would want to get value now, but it worked out for you.

out of all the players there, i think your game is more solid then theirs.
there is alot of andrew nuthuggers out there just jumping on the band wagon.
bart puts out some solid stuff, he's more into bet folding, and not slow playing thats probably why he got on your case a little, at least he actually criticizes what he deems to be bad plays unlike some broadcasters, but like you said in an earlier post you had a reason for slowplaying.

On the stream. Maybe about an hour or so after me practicing my fold techniques.
I flat pre thinkin someone cd get out of line w a 3bet, then I cd just flat again, or rip a 4bet depending on their 3 bet sizing, but nah. That led to putting myself in a weird spot. I like to mix it up and bit, and sometimes it doesn't work out.
@Hello7027 took a peculiar line and another person called ott, I thought I was beat.

Whazzup with you and Check Raise Charles? He is advocating on Vloggers thread to fly you out and play you in a heads up match for 5,000$. He is pissed on how you approached this game.

You did great, Rayz.

The entire point of the endeavor--i.e. playing poker--is to make money. I myself follow this thread not just because I learn from your hand histories, but also because you document the whole experience: wins, losses, and the mental approach required to handle the swings.

The fact that you keep it together while maintaining a relationship and raising kids makes your poker journey even more impressive and interesting.

Lastly, I find it laughable that you're being criticized by some doofus who makes instructional videos for building "structures" out of poker chips.

Take care, Rayz. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Thanks. A part of me kind of wished the flop wasn't so pure so I cd hv showed a little bit more creativity. But trust me, I'll take flopping top pair and a Flush draw after that.

I hv no clue why he is so obsessed w me. Next time I'll ask this table capt'n if I'm allowed get up from the table so I can use the restroom. Who does he think he is? I realize earlier I said a lion doesn't concern himself w a sheep, but it's to the point now where I'm starting to enjoy it. It's comical to me.
As far as him flying me around to play for $5k HU is such high school talk. Nonetheless, sign me up.

I may hv not played my best, but that Q6 2 pair call against Kraut's all in was the worst call of the night. I mean this guy is poker broke and the board is something like JQ68K. He is never bluffing. His range crushes this board. And for gdness sakes he is filming the whole thing. Lol

Question- What was up with the sunglasses? I have played with you in 2/5 and 5/10 games and I've never seen you do this. Only ask because it seems to be one of the hot topics, Charles bitching about you taking the game too serious lol.

Nothing really. Didn't know it wd create such a fiasco. Honestly I was telling @Hello7027 that I been noticing lately that I hv a pretty gd record w them on. Nothing I been tracking of course, but just something I realized in my head. I wore them at Capitol Casino the day before and booked a solid, and fig I wd keep it going. A bit of superstition I guess. Also wear them to just b in my own little world sometimes. U dig.
The game shd b taking seriously. I hv to, my kids/family depend on me.
Hope u been doing gd bud. Haven't seen u in a bit. I guess u prob been grinded the onliners.

I'm trying...well maybe not. This banter has actually been a lot of fun for me. The Villain side of me is taking over. Just mixing up my game. Can't ever b too predictable.
