Definitely not a pro yet. I won’t be posting hands, takes too long to search for them, especially non holdem hands.

I have commented on my mistakes in the tournament summaries in this thread.

$5.50 NLHE Mini Sunday Marathon $50K GTD


tournament highlights:

check-raised with 44 on a 692 flop as I figured my opponent 3bet me pre with AK, AQ etc. my opponent called. we checked it down to the river and I won

check raised 46 on a K98 flop and my opponent folded

3bet with K10 preflop and my opponent folded on the flop

bet out on the J high flop with Q10 and my opponent 3bet me. i folded.

lost a big pot with JJ overpair vs trips. should of folded on the river when he went all in

went all in with QJ and lost vs 87. rebuyed

went all in with AK vs KQ. he hit his flush. rebuyed

lost a pot with AK vs trips

won a pot with 42 betting out big on the river with the Ace high board

won a pot on the flop after pounding the limpers pre. i hit 2nd pair.

limped in preflop with 43. hit 2 pair and bet out. all my opponents folded

3bet with A10 preflop. flop came king high. I cbet, my opponent 3bet, i folded.

called a preflop raise with 910. flopped a flush. bet out and all my opponents folded.

3bet preflop with 33 and bet out on the flop. my opponent folded.

raised from early position with 66. got 2 callers. bet out on the flop and both my opponents folded.

raised from the BB with 74 and my SB opponent called. bet out on the paired board and he folded.

raised preflop with J8. had a straight draw on the flop. opponent bet out i 3bet with the draw, he called. hit the straight on the turn. opponent bet out i called. opponent check-called on the river with TT. i won a good sizeable pot.

called a 5x raise preflop with AK. hit top pair on the flop. opponent bet out on flop, i called. opponent check-called a bet on the turn. he check-folded the river.

i'm now inside the top 350.

raised preflop with A9. flop came Q high. we both checked the flop. my opponent bet out on the turn and i 3bet and he called. he check-folded the river after the board paired. now inside the top 250.

make a 4x raise preflop with KK and my opponent called. i had the overpair. we checked the flop. i bet out on the turn and my opponent called. my opponent folded the river after i bet out. now inside the top 200.

3bet preflop with QQ, got 2 callers. my opponent went all in with 27 on the flop, i called. he hit 2 pair on the turn to double up.

called a preflop raise with 77. flop came J22. i bet out and my opponent check folded.

raised preflop with KK. i hit trips on the flop and my opponent bet out on the turn and river with 2 pair. i'm now back into the top 300.

raised preflop with K9. got 3 callers. bet out on the flop and they all folded.

called a 3bet preflop with AK. missed the flop. my opponent went all in and i folded.

raised preflop with K10. had a inside straight draw. called a bet on the flop. missed the draw. folded on the turn.

raised preflop with AQ. got 1 caller. hit top pair and bet the flop and he called. bet the turn and he folded. got some chips back that i just had lost.

raised preflop with JJ. got 2 callers. flop came KQ8. we all checked. turn came a 3rd heart. opponent bet out and i folded.

raised preflop with A9 suited, got 1 caller. hit a flush draw on the flop and 3bet my opponent and was called. we checked it down to the river showdown. i won

raised preflop with 55 got 1 caller. did not hit flop and bet out, was 3bet and i folded.

raised preflop with AA and 3bet and got 1 caller. board came 3772. i bet the turn and my opponent called. we checked it down to river showdown and i won.

raised preflop with A10. got 2 callers. we all checked the flop. and i bet out on the turn and they both folded. back into top 700

raised preflop with QJ. flopped a straight. checked the flop to try and trap my opponent. my opponent bet out on the turn, i 3bet and he called. i bet out on the river and he folded

raised preflop with 44 and hit trips on the flop. got no action.

leaked 30% of my chips in pots recently

doubled up with JJ all in preflop vs J10. currently at my highest chip level. nearing top 700 again.

limped in preflop with 44. hit trips. checked thru on the flop and my opponent bet the turn. i 3bet and he folded.

went all in with KK preflop. had about 15BB left. opponent called me with 88 and hit trips. so just like that i am out.

$5.50 5 Card PLO $200 GTD


tournament highlights:

lost 60% of my stack with going all in with AAxx preflop and losing vs a straight on the river

then went all in with KKxx and lost vs AAxx. rebuyed.

won a small pot with trips on the river

building up a stack. flopped a straight. now 5th with 13 remaining. late reg still open

won a small pot with a rivered queen high flush

lost a few chips with a missed flush draw, when my opponent bet big

went out with lower trips... did not play well at all...

$11 2-7 Triple Draw $200 GTD


tournament highlights:

started off well with a 2-7 low x2

unlucky with a 2-7 2nd best low but made up for it with a stand pat made 2-8 low before the 1st draw

got lucky drawing 3 on the 1st draw and by the end having made a 2-7 low

bluffed with a 2-9 low after the final draw after i saw my opponent also drawing cards. my opponent folded

bluffed with a pair after the final draw. opponent folded

chopped a 2-8 low. currently 2nd with 10 remaining. late reg still open.

won a good sized pot drawing to 3 at the 1st draw and getting a 2-8 low at the end

bluffed with a Jack low after the final draw, after my opponent checked to me. he folded and i'm now 1st place

lost a few small pots not catching / playing stupid - drawing 3 cards and chasing in big pots

won a massive pot with a 2-7 low, luckily for me catching on the final draw vs a donk who had a 2-8 low. back into the chip lead

won another big pot with a 2-8 low vs a donk

lost a pot with a 9 low and tried to bluff with a straight after the final draw, did not succeed

again trying to chase 2-3 cards in big pots and not succeeding. back to starting stack

ended up donking off my chips. silly silly silly.

tournament highlights:

flopped a straight and turned a flush. chipped up to 6th out of 28 remaining. late reg still open.

lost a few chips with the nut flush vs a full house.

lost a small pot with JJ underpair vs QQ underpair.

won a small pot with trips on the turn

won a good sized pot with a baby flush / 2 pair

lost a small pot with flopped trips vs a straight

won a small pot with trips

tried a bluff with a busted straight draw, did not work

got lucky putting a smaller stack all in. full house over full house.

tried to bluff the river, lost a few chips

picked up a few lost chips with JJ underpair on the paired turn board

pulled off a semi bluff repping the 3 card flush on the flop, after my opponents checked to me.

pulled of another bluff, this time repping the 4 card straight on board

tried to bluff again repping a straight, but my opponent called with 2 pair

tried to bluff repping a flush with 2 pair, but it didn't work

GOT KNOCKED OUT - CANNOT REMEMBER HOW IT HAPPENED.

tournament highlights:

limit holdem: won big pots with AA and trips

limit holdem: lost a small pot with 22

razz: tried to win a hand vs short stack opponent, but couldn't outdraw him.

razz: won a few small pots with marginal holdings

stud: won a big pot with hidden Aces

stud8: unlucky to not scoop the pot! won with a flush and had a 7 low, but it didn't beat my opponent's 6 low

stud8: had the low and told my opponent i had KK for the high hand. he folded on 7th street

NLHE: won a small pot with JJ

PLO: won a small pot with QQ underpair

2-7 Triple Draw: Drew 23457 (the nuts) to win a huge pot!

razz: lost a big pot with a 10 low. was raised on the river and folded.

stud: went all in and lost a massive pot with Aces. should of folded earlier on. rebuyed

stud: won a big pot with 2 pair

stud8: won 1/2 of the pot with a 7 low

stud8: lost a massive pot with a smaller full house

stud8: scooped a big pot with the nut straight and low

PLO: got knocked out with the lower straight

Im not gonna click that but the wierder the format, the less players the better. Play every 2-7 tourney you can afford (is it pot limit or limit?). learn badugi if you dont and if ps has it.

you are going to win a tournament. it will be 2-7 or O8.

failed bluff attempt repping trips on the river

bluffed by 3betting on the paired board on the flop with the flush draw. opponent folded

2barrelled the turn after the board paired. got my opponent to fold

won a small pot with AQ top pair

won a small pot with trips

lost a big pot losing with trips vs a straight draw

bluffed all in with 2nd pair. lost. rebuyed

lost a massive pot with QQ vs AK

lost with Qx suited vs Ax suited. rebuyed.

bluffed the turn with the paired board. opponents folded

lost a pot vs a straight when i tried to semi bluff the turn with the flush draw. missed the flush. checked it down.

won a big pot with AQ top pair

won an all in vs a donk. JJ vs 77

failed bluff attempt on the river, trying to rep the 4 card straight on board

tried to take down the pot with ace high, however my opponent 3bet me and i folded
