Thanks a lot!
hey there thanks for the nice words
i think that for your situation it would be better if you just find 1 good book and learn the fundamentals as well as you can, dont just read it once, read every chapter a lot of times and take a lot of notes on everything you didnt know. ( i suggest some books in earlier pages of my thread )
i remember that when i was at nl2- nl10 i just wanted to read as many books as possible because i felt better telling to my self ''i have read a big amount of books so i must have experience now'', but if i coud talk to my self in the past, i would only read a max of 2 books but learn them perfectly. probably 1 for strategy and 1 for mental strength (that is for becoming a winner in nl2-nl25. after that, i would read books again but i would carefully choose them and make sure i get 100% of what they have to give)
also learn to table select good and when to leave a table. dont call with junk, dont overplay 3bets (my biggest leak at nl10 was betting too many streets in 3bets for no good reason), and learn to play vs ranges, practise it until you do it without noticing it.
After you are confident that you have strong fundamentals, dont stop learning just because you beat your stakes. Try watching at least 1 video per day. (again dont just watch the video like a robot and expect to get better, make your brain work. take notes, pause the video and think what you would have done in this hand, and then if the coach does something different, understand his thought process. It is like when you are in school, just because the teacher is there and he is sharing his knowledge, it doesn't automatically mean that you will learn from him, you have to put in the work too)
many poker video sites have a free trial so you can see which one you like. i got a subscription on run it once and i like it so far.
also if you never played nl10 and you dont have proof that you are a winner there, i would suggest grinding nl5 until you have more than 60 buy ins for nl10. i think that using 15-25 buy in rules is good when you have proof that you are a winner at the stakes that you will move to, but when it is unknown territory for you, i think it's better to just take it slow and get experience along the way
hope i helped, good luck
