Hello guys My name is Mike and I am 20 years old, I am from Greece. I started playing poker 3 months ago. I was a really bad and clueless player (I still am, but probably a bit less) So after I had lost half of my 130 dollar bankroll on pokerstars, and my whole bankroll on fulltilt (270 dollars), due to bad playing and bad bankroll management, I stopped playing poker for a few days and started reading poker strategy (books and articles on the internet) After I felt a bit more confident in my skills, I tried my luck again. Playing 2nl I won back some of my losses, my bankroll is now back to 160 dollars (from around 75$). My plan now is to also try and win back the money I lost from fulltilt. I plan to do that playing only 2nl, to improve my skills and minimize the risk of going broke since I wont be able to make another deposit again due to economic problems. If I manage to do that then my next goal will be to move up in stakes (5nl) and try to reach goldstar.

I have no job and I live with my grandmother (she raised me alone since i was little), so I have this idea in my head that I will one day be able to fix her life and mine through poker, I know that it may take long or it may never happen, but I am willing to work hard to increase my chances to succeed.

Below is my graph from pokerstars. As you can see I was a total loser before I started reading about poker strategy, but now it goes better and I hope I can continue like that.

Hello again The last days were pretty good for me, but i failed my goal to reach goldstar for this month. I think that i will be able to get it by the end of july tho.

Bankroll: 331 dollars and 2600fpp (from 160 dollars)

I have been playing 5nl for the last 70k hands, running at around 6.5bb/100

Now my goals are: 1 reach goldstar in july.
2 reach 500 dollars and try playing 10nl

Goal 1: Done (reaching 500 dollars)
Goal 2: In progress (getting goldstar in july)

I played 5nl only, and i decided to play 5nl until i have 100 buy ins for 10nl. Because i feel like i have a lot to learn and i also feel safe with a 100 buy in requirement.

Next goals:

Reach 1000 $ playing 5nl within 2 months and move to 10nl.

OP, the fact that you have played 130k hands at 2nl shows that you have a grind core. You must be someone who puts serious effort into your game. The graphs look promising. If similar volume is dedicated to every level, there's a lot of potential. I'm subbed and best of luck.

Is this Zoom or reg tables? How many tables do you play?

its extremely easy actually, being supernova @ 5nl is a mission.

can i have few questions for you sir ?

why you prefare 12 regs tabels and not 3-4 zoom tables ?
are you bored to search all time for the tables ? do you look for the short stack when you do table selection ? and what more ?
are your style ( or was ) hit or miss from 2nl to 5nl ? are you more tag than nit ?
how many h/hands of day you have ?

what can you say from your experience in grinding 2/5nl ? we still can print money with a tag style/focus/a lot of hours ?
