Thank you for all the replies.

Just on the coaching - you seem to refer to it as being necessary when a player is [deep] in MU - what about when they are not, i.e. would you view ongoing coaching to be a good thing.

Maybe my 'general iq' example was poor - what I was getting at though was, for example, it's well known/scientifically verifiable, that there is a relationship between general body fitness and brain health/ability - waht I was getting at was whether you considered 'coaching' in a broader sense. When you have 40 to 50 horses you have a lot of opportunity to figure out non-poker things that might be a tipping point for excellent poker results.

Yeah, i mean sats, not stats, typo.

AGain, thanks for answering, will continue to follow...

Zima will MO make SNE in January? Any chance of an overall graph for his year so far? On his website the last overall is from when he had 500k vpp and now he is on just over 800k.

He's posting daily graphs so... You can calculate yourself

Btw, really great thread Zima. Started reading 2012 one and was hooked right away

Have one question about staking cash gamers, if you don't mind answering.
You said that you don't stake cash games because its hard to track players. Is this the only reason or is there something else? If you had a software that would track 100% of players hands, would you start staking more cg players?

Thanks and GL

Yeah, everyone could probably use coaching. But, it just makes more sense for us to have people who are coached who are in big MU. they are more valuable to us (in a weird way) than the guys who have smaller MU.

I havent really ever thought about coaching in a more general "life" sense for all our players. I assume most of them wouldnt want to do it cause they are either lazy or think it would be dumb. rather they just work on their poker game and if they feel doing something like that in their own time is good, then they will do it. Its no doubt a good idea, but just not sure all of them would wanna do it.

Doesnt look like 1m in jan will happen. he mentioned to me that it had a really good chance all the way up til a week ago. He had some computer problems and he also just bought a car which had some problems as well. I am sure if Awice was pushing him or someone else was right behind him he would have made it in jan for sure, but that just wasnt the case.

MO isnt blocked on sharkscope. Here is his graph for this year. 1 is with rakeback, 1 without.

We are just more familiar with mtt guys. Elio knows the games better and its what i am more familair with as well. I am sure staking cash players can be good, but its just not something we like to focus on.

the fact that probably nobody beats the $200+ HT 6ms is pretty sick. Can PS really justify the rake when everyone loses? How much money would they cost themselves if they lowered the rake $2/game?

Health wise i am doing ok. Just trying to eat less and eat a bit better at the moment and work into things slowly. Probably more me being lazy than actually "trying to work into it slowly" though, ha ha

I mean, they can justify the rake cause people keep loading them? I guess at some point the rake they get will lower cause people will go broke, but not sure.

the ratio of 200 - 500 rake is lower. but still probably too much.

Gl this year with your goals, i enjoyed last years thread a ton! I appreciate all the insight you give us on your backing operations. I've also had weight issues (football related too) so i know it can be really frustrating. Trust me it'll be worth it when you lose that weight.

Also i used to sweat smok a lot and he is a beast

I saw that one of your goals was to win a major live MTT this year to the tune of 500k plus. If you are truly serious about attaining this goal and will make this goal a lucrative reality for all parties involved then contact me at runtheset10@inbox.com I am calm and focused, know all the odds and have a lifetime of expierience. I am in control of my emotions while my mind works endlessly to adjust to varying playing conditions. I have alot of live heads up experience, so I am very good at finishing the deal. The proof is in the pudding so start me small and judge for yourself.
