Been thinking about this for a while. See a lot of familiar players doing this here, so I thought I'll give it a shot as well. Seems like a good way to keep yourself motivated.

Bio -ish

Im a 27yo dreamer from Jyväskylä, Finland. Besides poker I like drinking and going out, all that. I love movies, TV shows, music, cars, football, ice hockey, Football Manager and girls. Pretty standard stuff. I have a girlfriend who hates poker a lot. I have a mortage for about €80k. I drive a Volvo (yeh lol bit twisted with fancying cars) and I have a dayjob in an insurance company.

First time I played poker was about six years ago. Those 5€/$ home sng's I think pretty much all of us has started from. Pretty soon I made my first 20€ deposits on random sites. I had absolutely zero idea of the game really. Im telling, there was a few deposits. It was just if I was one of those Greek players at the tables nowdays. (not that they all are bad) Never took the game that seriously and it was pretty much just gambool for the first year or two. Then I made some cashes pretty much by accident, you could say, and thought ima beast. Never knew about 2p2 or anything. I did really get hooked into poker; I played cash, MTT's and sng's alltogether.

In the summer of 2007 - I think - I really started to focus on cash. I ran my roll from some 100d to somewhere around 3k in like two weeks, was in an incredible heater. I was playing nl50/nl100. Then one night I lost the whole roll while drunk; I was out drinking and took a cab home to get my jacket or something, told the cab to wait, inside I noticed I had Pokerstars open and decided to "steal blinds once" to get freeroll with the cab. Failed pretty bad- Quit poker for a while.

Then after about six months or so, I started to play again, degen way. Since then all the way til 2009 I did have some rather long periods of time off the game completely. Then I found 2p2 and other forums, got some friend who were playing as well, started selling share on marketplace and got decent in some parts of the game.


Present day:

I play up to 28fo, 10c and 8r. Im backed, in a good stable that is home for lots of magnificent high stake players that I have the pleasure to learn from (and vice versa obv). Ive been in the stable for pretty long. I was there pre-BF. Then I was in a euro stable for a little while, then the backer quit the business. Went back selling shares to maintain roll with swongs. Then the original stable started again and got back there. Recently "irl" friend started to back me on Ps.fr, as it was ok with my stable. There Im taking slightly bigger shots as well every now and then.

Year 2012 has been a big year for me in terms of poker. Ive put up high volume (considering I didnt play the first three or so months), more than Ive had in total in all years before. Ive learned so much, its such a sick feeling when you think something in your game post-session and you get that feeling, "aha", I learned something again. Compared to myself five years back, thinking I knew it all already. Ive been also receiving some coaching in terms of HH reviewing and discussion, which has had some very good points. Looking forward to what we'll study next. 2012 has also been very hard for me. I got deep in the MU, about 900 buy ins, ran just awful, got very frustrated and even took some time off. I was switching job' offline which was another reason. Last summer I decided to grind it off cause wtf, the stakes I play are soft and after all, the Greeks and Russians cant suck me out evvrrry hand can they. Got close of clearing the MU and then I got doomed again. Gained pretty much it all back. Then I started to look into my game again a bit, studied and followed, got the coaching help at this point as well. Its really a shame I never got hold of myself earlier, to force myself to fix my leaks etc. Anywho Im feeling pretty confident now and Am ready to set some gols for the year 2013.

Ive taken leave of absence from work for the last three weeks and will prolly leave it alltogether. Might apply back to uni next year to finish my business studies that I quit couple years back, not sure yet. At the moment my biggest leak is the amount of tables. I mass table to sensless. How ever my plan is to do until Ive cleared my MU and then Ill start from the scratch and leave bunch of my schedule off. I feel that at the stakes Im currently, I dont miss as much value as I would purely playing higher stakes.

This wall of text is pretty confusing even for myself, so I apologize that. Im pretty tipsy at the moment.

Today I started my session the second I sent Ms Twatty off to school. Never started this early and I ****ing loved it. Games went well too. Ive had so many FT's lately but has seemed so hard to win them. Today I won two though;

-5$ hyper at stars for 1k ish
-10$ ME 5.5k gtd on FTP for 1.4k ish.

Also small ft on Party and another on FTP. Two or three f2t's as well so was close of clearing MU already tonight.

Tomorrow is missus' bday and stuff so its gonna be a day off. Grinding sensless on sunday though.





Since I watch a lot of TV shows and movies in the end parts of my sessions while having few tables, I thought I could recommend some every now and then, just to have something of my own here hehe. Finally started to watch The Wire and it is as good as they said. The most authentic show Ive seen. Even though Im not very familiar with the Baltimore drug scene. But as something less know, Ive watched two first episodes of Bright Falls. It is somewhat based on the game Alan Wake

Close to spectacular sunday but not quite. Runbad on .Fr dragged the results down a bit. Got close though :F
-FT bbled the big 10€ and big 25€ and some small ish cashes. Sattied to the bigger events which helped the night on FR to be pretty much BE - sigh.

-On PStars I put up a huge volume again, played pretty much everything in my limits from 1pm EET til 4am EET. Didnt get too deep in the games you really want to, but managed;
-Win a 5c 2k for ~1.2k
-5th in a 27d ko 4k non-turbo
-some semi deep runs in hyper/turbos.
-also two small FTs on party

In overall, it was slightly profitable day, maybe around 400-500 bucks, yay. I think it was 4th + sunday in a row. Hoping to clear the MU within next two sessions.


Monday is off poker due the obligations to giver an effort in the relationship, owned.

Took Ms Twatty out last night, wasnt relly rolled for all of it but what the hell. Standard dinner-in-a-fany-restaurant, then movies and for couple drinks after. Really wanna get hammered soon, its been a while. Tonight Im supposed to play again. Putting up a huge volume again. Just counted, I played about 180mtt's on sunday. Not gonna do that much tonight but around 100 most likely.

Well, had to pull back my plans. Felt very tired the time I was supposed to start grinding, fell asleep for couple hours. Missus hadnt left when I woke so had just a small ish sesh from around 11pm til now. One tabling my last game 8d 8k turbo (3/33) as Im writing.

Had some close calls again. FT bubbled .Fr 10€ 5k 6max. Was chiplead when 10 left, but AA<Q7 crippled me. Got it back without showdowns, but then crippled again AK<TT. Oh well. Got deep in Hot30€ as well. In overall made 200€ ish + on .FR.

On Stars I got permission to play the nightly 10r 40k (normally playing up to 8r) and finished 22nd. Really wanted to win, lol? Had deece stack, about 7/27, but got AK<86 and KQ<JT pretty much back to back for gg's. One F2T and other F3T made the day pretty much BE. Tomorrow is a proper grind, Ill treat myself that much.

Ill wait the last tourney to finish before posting! GL ****. **** it 19th.

Today didnt went quite as planned, gamewise, but then again they often dont. Started record early, around 10am. But the problem was that I finished the prev session about 4 hours earlier. Stopped regging around 9pm. Two small FT's on FR and one small on Party. While playing, I didnt feel like my lacking condition was effecting my game. But coming to think about it, its quite obvius it allways has its effects. Few deep runs on Stars but nothing mentionable. Had an annoying cooler on the FR nightly 100€ 40k, 150bigs pot set<set sigh

Gonna put it 12h of sleep now as feeling ****ing gutted and grind tomorrow. After that it seems it will be a week off cause the holidays and Im heading up north above the arctic circle, where Im from and where my folks and santa lives.

Back to the novel stuff and whatnot.

Slightly overslept, woke up around 3pm insted the supposed midday. Insted of grinding right away, received an order from missus that we're going for the inlaws. Gift swapping etc. Havent bought a single gift for anyone by the way. Everyone so naughty and so.

So the games today.

Started around 8pm. (big22 starts 7pm local time fyi) Late regged a bunch. First I thought Im gonna keep the volume low this time, hence not getting the standard amount anywho. Played solid but ran awful. Was pretty much ready to give up on the day, didnt have any good stacks anywhere and so on. Kept the grim on and continued. Seems you allways bink the last ones you got left, doesnt it.

As writing, I got four tournies left. None deep though so felt I might just as well be at the point for an update. Bad decision though, insta bubbled big25 on fr cause shoved 33 with playable stack, due the lack on attention. Lol me. Anywho, I binked twice today, first I got back up from my slight d-swong on .Fr as I got 4-way chop in Hot30€. We all had even stacks, not one bb inbetween so I suggested a chop and in fact two of them had it ticked by then. Bit shame as I ran good right after cardwise. And we left 100€ for the winner, so we werent just shoving as I busted two of them. Cant remember how i lost the HU. Think it was KQ<Ax.

Also on Stars I finished 2nd in a 5d5k which is becoming one of my favourite due the sillyness.

Wasnt supposed to play tomorrow, but Ill leave the door open for it, as Im not really in the mood for getting drunk and Id also clear a 50d bonus with one more session. As im in the belief they get reset on new year?

Hehe, thanks man. Yeah, better luck next time. Guy had about 5/2 lead when the HU started but he was pretty soft so was getting even with 3 betting and floating. Then one big hand that I lost, had 74ss on bb, he opened, flop JJ5r - cbet, I float, Turn T I check raise he kawls, river a small blank and I bet 60%ish and he snaps T5. Then AQ<AK in the end. I felt too happy at the point as I literally was double FTing and just made the chop in the Hot30, so I was pretty fliphappy at the point. Pretty sure I could have taken the HU down without 6b shoving the AQ lol.

Not playing today, getting hammered and off to Lapland on sunday morning. Happy holidays everyone!!!

Can't remember the last time I had over a week off poker. Christmas was very good. Headed up North with missus and our, well, her dog. Ate so much and just chilled with the family. Had the whole family gathering. Got ****faced just once and it was fun as well.

So back on the grind. Started early on this sunday. Unfortunately games were utter **** really. Funny how hard it felt after taking a week+ off. The mass tabling that is. Really was hard to focus in the start. Cant see myself doing otherwise though, not before I get my "clean start" with 0 MU. Played pretty much everything on .FR as well. The big ones as well, nothing to mention, small cashes here and there.

Then all the sudden running well in the Hot30e again. FT; TT<AQvsAQ river Q and finish 6th, cant remember the last time I felt this bad cause of a beat. Table was super soft, two guys 4xBB opening etc. Field was big as well with 3.6k€ up top. Oh well. On PStars got zero FT's. Only got a 10c 7.5k left as writing 6/16 atm with 1.7k ut. Would save the day big time.

Will be back with more creative post later, as not feeling so imaginative after 16h grind Happy new year all and go get hammered.

First, gonna cut down using capitols cause its just not me. secondly, had the most tilting poker moment of my life. comes little later.

Played last night and today. Last night was utter ****. nothing to mention, zero deep runs. started the session late as well, wasnt supposed to play at all but got some kind of after sex boost and logged on. didnt deliver.

today was good, close to be a ****ing sick one. FR was absolutelly rigged today though, which sucks. gonna have to cut down a bit the bigger ones such as the nightly 100e and just satellite in. even though its fish infested, it does hurt much considering my avg bin. elsewhere, realized Party has some good stuff hence bwin and fired up a couple 22d's, got 4th in a 6k gtd for 600d er something. Lost an annoying 3 outer to bust one and get 2nd in chips. but in overall run very good in the FT as i started it as 10/10. Also got 13rd in one those 25d 6max hypers on stars. was one of the earlier ones, so was close to get a freeroll for today but not quite. regged all again from big4 til 5r 15k at night. things seemed to go wrong on PStars as well until hit a 5d hyper FT and got 3rd for 800d.

Then the magic happened. got into the 16d 20k turbo FT. we are 4way, me and other guy sit with 500k ish and one has 1.2m and the leader 1.6m ish when we discuss deal, the sync breaks are about to start. soon enough i decline as im not getting ICM deal, admin says "were not getting a deal at this point" and I take off to take a piss and something to drink, as the ****ing sync breaks started 30 seconds ago. I come back, what I see? I see my sorry ass on sit out with half of the stack gone and game running 4way while other tables still on break. WTF. doubled back AK>A9 but busted soon after bvb Q7<TT. little bit having 2nd thoughts about my shove there with 10.5bbs. but then again its pretty much ATC and all the villains ranges were too tight so far anyway. GG i guess. Got 2k there. Tilts me further when realizing the 1st got 5.1k, ****!

I got just one table left now and just need two ish hundo to clear MU finally. Been a hell of a long road and feels pretty amazing tbh. hope im not jinxing it now.

oh yeh, had a tough beat in the FTP 26d 22k KO. had 30 left and got 1 outed on the river TT<99 pfai. was gross.
