who are the 9 HS guys? Can we call them the Knights of something or some other cool title? Do you feel comfortable disclosing?

I respect the HS horses of yours I do know immensely. So maybe I'll have a soft spot for the others I don't know when we play!

I would assume a lot of them dont care. think one wants to remain nameless, but idk.

betudontbet, probirs, obvaments, jymaster11, hitthepanda, imalucsac (dylan), little kraut, and 1 more.

guess thats 8. we have a few guys who are kinda almost to HS's, but not quite there yet.

really happy with the stable we have now and look forward to the new year. PCA should be fun/stressful.

we had a really good sunday. had scores of 46, 38, 25, 14, 13 and a few other 5-8k scores. was nice a few guys who were in MU had those scores as well.

Its nice to have a few good sundays in a row and hopefully we can close the year out strong.

Did your horse went into public with his blog or w/e for new year for that first SNE etc? I thought for a second its Awice but he stated at the end of his post he is not backed and will not be, so im curious who will it be

Also gl on the last sunday of the year, and a little summarize 2012 after that

i always thought maybe josh (jdawg) might be it but he said he isn't going for first sne. Thought elio might be the high stakes crusher josh is always talking about.

Nah, he hasnt gone public yet. not josh or awice.

Elio will play all the big hypers, but wont mass table them for vpps. He game selects them pretty hard.

Just wondering what your standard way of handling the following situation is:

Say you want your horse in a $10k but you only want to take half the action. You get them to sell the other half in MP at say 1.2 markup. So they sold the other half for $6k, for a profit of $1k. How is the $1k profit divided between you and the horse?

I never get this, whats his part in that deal, he sold 50% to you and 50% to MP, what he gets, 25% from your part?

player better get 100% of his markup...you have zero to do with that and own zero part of it. Just my rational response, obv you can set terms any which way you'd like.

the "which tourney" question got me thinking...which is softer...PCA or aussie millions??

The mark-up has nothing to do with me/staking him. He gets to keep it because the people are paying the mark-up based on the horses talent/ROI/whatever in the mtt. he can do what he wants with the mark-up.

A lot of the time, the horse sells enough so he can free roll a small % of himself in the mtt away from the staking deal.

not sure i understand. If its a 10k, and we take 50%, its essentially like a 5k mtt now. if he bricks, its 5k onto MU. if he cashes for 50k total, then 25k goes back into the backing deal (50%) and pays off any MU he has with us. if profits from that, we split it accordingly.

the other 50% that he sold, he distributes it to his other investors.

Last three sundays have went pretty well. we are on a pretty good upswing at the moment, which is always nice.

today we had a 3rd in the WU, 2nd in the brawl, 4th in bigger 109, a 10-15th in the FTP major. few other small scores as well.

January should be a pretty interesting month. one guy we stake is going to be grinding hypers ridic hard to try and get to SNE first. We will have quite a lot of action at PCA. I will be making my return to the stars tables at 100 rush PLO (BIG ACTION!!!).

Debating if i will make another thread for 2013, but i most likely will. it was fun to update the thread every so often.

What markup could inexperienced live mtt player look for if he wants to sell live mtt action, and he is beating nl100 online for solid sample and had moderate success with online mtts which he plays very rarely?

depends what mtt really. always should try and sell at the peak though. if its a soft mtt, offer it at 1.25 to start, and if it doesnt sell, move it down accordingly.
