Will that effect your business in a big way ?

Maybe you don't rely on the sites at all anymore ,as you hinted in your op that you have problems sending on PS if you don't play ?

Do you think using third parties solely to transfer money for staking could be a problem for someone like yourself who needs to transfer big money from day to day.(Third parties would have charges ,some banks would not allow it for poker ,could cost you more in taxes etc etc )?

Good luck
this would be pretty awful for me.

its already starting some with the danish people (i think), and we are having trouble with a few people in regards to getting their MB set up/the fees that are involved there.

I am having some problems with PS in terms of them telling me i gotta actually play to send money around, but i am getting around it by playing some small 6m plo and messing around in a few mtts every now and again.

I think using things like MB and bank transfers could be pretty bad for the business, but nothing we couldnt work through (when i say we, i mean elio and myself). it just takes a little more effort and pre planning, but sure we can work through it if need be.

Got my walk done early today. I am going off my iPod nano, which i am sure isnt exactly accurate in terms of how long i walked, but thats how i am keeping track.

Time: 1 hour 16 mins
Miles: 4.25 miles
Calories: 692
Steps: 7826

I am walking around a mountain a lot of the time, so the walk can be pretty tough at times. today i walked into town and had to try and mail something (failed, store was closed), so this walk was a lot more flat surfaces than usual. think thats why i got such a long distance and still felt pretty good at the end. at some point, will post some pics of the surrounding area as its a pretty cool place.

Made a global alias for all the guys we stake (just stars, if i included all sites would take me too long to make an alias). will post that pic tonight or tomorrow.

good luck with your weight loss goals. I've recently started eating a way healthier diet/working out 5/6 times a week and it has improved so many aspects of my life (sleep, energy levels, general happiness, confidence).

As already mentioned http://www.leangains.com/ is a great website. I'd recommend the intermittent fasting

Hey, good thread, gl with your bussiness. Personally I started staking some people as well, now have ~15player stable with a friend, so have a few questions.

Can you divulge how are your assets distributed since you started staking? Like how is in already cashed out money, how much is in players' balances and how much is in makeup?

Assuming you like donkbluff since you use it, been thinking about using it too, since what amounf of horses do you think its a necessity?

How do you manage the stable day to day? Do you have an employee or some sort of manager who's online a lot who takes care of transfers?

Thanks, will have more later probably

1. Can you divulge how are your assets distributed since you started staking? Like how is in already cashed out money, how much is in players' balances and how much is in makeup?

eh, this is tough to answer cause it kinda gets into my and elios specific deal. just something i would rather keep private (no worries about asking though obv). i gotta chat with elio a lil bit about what i actually say in this thread, because it is his business as well, so wanna just get his thoughts on me sharing actual #'s of all our stuff.

2. Assuming you like donkbluff since you use it, been thinking about using it too, since what amount of horses do you think its a necessity?

I personally felt overwhelmed when i had around 10-15 horses when i didnt have DB. I know the reason it was created was because yellowsub86 was staking a decent amount of guys, and a friend of his (nat arem) saw his set up of excel sheets/stickies/notes/whatever, and thought there must be a better way. Nat did some programming and made the donkbluff website to help jeff (yellowsub) out. I am sure they then thought it was a good tool and started to tell their friends about it/sell subscriptions.

Personally, i would be lost without it. it easily was one of the best things i ever invested in when i started out. it just keeps everything neat and tidy. it also shows a record of everything. If you have 10 or more guys, its def something to look into i think. you pay month to month, but feel its a good tool to invest in if you are a staker.

How do you manage the stable day to day? Do you have an employee or some sort of manager who's online a lot who takes care of transfers?

Thats what i do. Transfers i just look at donkbluff when i wake up and when i go to bed and send transfers as needed (they update their bankroll at end of each session). We also have a skype chat going with all horses so if they have questions, they can ask me there or hit me up on AIM/email/personal skype convo. Its a ton of work, and we will most likely be looking to add some employees here soon. just got back from holidays with the family and getting situated in canada again.

open to more questions such as these.

gl with your stable.

social eating seems like it will be a constant struggle for me. today i felt great after i did my walk, but think i kinda dropped the ball in terms of food.

i have a pretty tough time turning down drinks at dinner (esp a good kiran when at sushi place). just gotta get better at this. It feels really dumb to have a good day in terms of walking a lot/eating good leading up to dinner, then just eating a ton of sushi/beer at dinner. food is such a social thing, and sometimes i get caught up i suppose.

oh well, on to the next

SUNDAY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

oh, and for all you guys wanting me to post graphs/MU numbers...chatting with Elio about it all and seeing his thoughts. unsure if its the best thing to post numbers about stuff like that, but i am sure i will post some interesting stuff regardless.

Awesome that youre doing a staking PGC. Best of luck in 2012 and if Stars ever add higher 9m hypers i might hit you up

As far as weightloss, if you dont know how to cook then learn. I went from ~215 to 175 over 6 months and a lot of it was being able to completely control my own diet with lots of choices and variety. Id also suggest getting a juicer and both replacing meals with juice and doing periodic juice fasts. Doing it for even a few days really makes you aware of how powerful the food you put in your body is when it comes to your mood and energy levels.

I can actually cook ok. I am sure i can get better, but i actually am able to cook my own meals.

I had looked into the juicing thing, but when i was about ready to get into it, i had to move to mexico. I actually just found a really cool organic market in cabo that i walk past everyday, so maybe will look into getting a juicer down here.

its weird, i went to the market and i get a orange everyday, and it just tastes a lot better than the ones from walmart/sorriano (local food mart). i am not sure if its all in my head, but the oranges/other fruits i have gotten from there have been great.

Hey Zima, here are a few humble recommendations for your weight loss goals:

1. Probably the most important thing is to avoid any form of fructose or glucose, and more specifically, high fructose corn syrup. When you consume these types of sugar, they cause huge spikes in your blood sugar, which causes your body to pump out insulin, which will eventually make you hungry and will manipulate your hormones. Of course it's a lot more complicated than that, but I don't want this to be tl;dr

2. Get protein and grean vegetables in every meal. Protein helps you to be less hungry. Greens help to fill you up. Spinach, kale, and avocado are all wonder foods that deserve worship

3. As the old saying goes, "Eat like a king in the morning, eat like a prince in the afternoon, and eat like a beggar at night." Consume most of your calories early, so that you have time to burn them off throughout the day. (I know it's hard to do esp when you have a night life, but just do your best. It's all you can do!

4. I could go on and on, but the statement that kind of captures everything is "have the right intentions." This captures everything. If you really start eating healthful, green foods on a regular basis, it will become natural. You also won't feel guilty when you crush a couple of cookies or something of that nature, because you know your intent is to eat properly most of the time. Holistic living my friend!

Oh yeah, and I would recommend taking fish oil. For somebody your size, I'd say roughly 6-8 grams a day. It's one of the easiest things you can do to improve your health. If you want to know why, read the book "Toxic Fat" by Dr. Barry Sears.

1) What kind of BR management do your horses have to stick to for MTTs?

2) If you had 10k to invest in staking, what format would you invest it in? MTTs, 180s, cash? Also would you rather spread it out amongst more players at lower buy-ins or less players at higher buy-ins?

Thanks

50+ horses,do you still have all of your hair? lol and how do you and your partner decide who is a good fit for your team? is it all purely stat based? or do your study their HH and find small leaks that you think you can tweak?
