Hello everyone,

As with everyone, I was affected on BF and had to take the ol lets get a job route. I currently work at Yamatos steakhouse in Myrtle Beach SC at Broadway at the beach. I also have a one and a half year old born on march 31st (yes, BF took place 2 weeks later). I was grinding mtts and 180 mans on stars at the time and getting by ok. Now, I have limited time for poker and have to do it in sections. I started to play 6max cash on Lock Poker at 50NL and lost about 30-40 buy ins (obv terrible). I then started searching around the forums on here and pocket 5s. I was posting hands and getting some advice from players. I then ran into Sean Kraper and for those of you who do not know him, he is a head coach on www.version2poker.com. I now have about 5 sessions under my belt with him and I am starting to turn some decent profit. My resturant shuts down in the beginning of january for 3 months for rennovation so I will be grinding at least 2k hands a day, 5 days a week and hopefully not have to go back when they re-open (this will only be if I can make around 2500-3k per month). I will post my progress regularly and also trouble hands I have as well. The main reason for me making this thread is to be able to 1, post progress and 2, to get some real thoughts and views on hands. I will be making a similar thread on Pocket 5s as well. All of my play will be mostly on Americas Cardroom but very little on lock. Lock will be used as a filler cuz sometimes ACR has a low amount of tables running early and I need to be able to get in poker when i can because of my family. Im doing most of my play on ACR because there is a 3 day turnaround for payouts using the prepaid card option and only 2 weeks max for checks vs lock which takes 6 weeks for most options. I have been playing poker regularly for almost a decade so its time to really strive for the next step. Thanks for looking everyone and wish me luck!!!!

New Update since turkey day. A lil over 3k hands played and on a break even stretch. Hoping to come out of it soon.

i ll start play 4-5tables nl10 with 50bb,
i think i can go up to 50NL before end of the year.. and start crushing those limits (i have played before a lot of 50nl and 100nl) but on "that" site there is no action above 50nl so might be a problem, but it is very very profitable
