had a day of mostly fish games at 30s so was nice, played 100 $30s and then $15s i played 25 off to wind down, got hammered ofc

volume been low because of work and absolute terrible goings on IRL </3

rocky start been working hard on mental game and trying to be as close to A game as possible when playing, not very easy as alot of things can be 'tilt' not just losing big multis etc but making stupid bluffs and missplaying hands, calling when u should be folding etc, i get most tilted by my own mistakes as there the only things i can control, been listening to some elliot roe podcasts tho guys a bawse defo helped , hope to get this upto 4.5%+ by end of month leaving in like 4 days for colorado and have funeral inbetween so maybe only get 1 grind in before now so might be my last update for a while



oh and seen this random spin punter from russia we have played a ton hes wild lol good fun to play, anywho see him in the $51k highroller WCOOP lol



he sattyed in the 25k fpp satty him n roma-tilt got seats u cant cashout fpp sattys only $ ones you buy in so he yolo'd it and look at the superstars he finished ahead of, i can only imagine the 100s regs will reap the benefits of this lol

so been back a few day still jet lagged, been grinding some to going to do a full trip report tomoro probably, it was absolutely incredible, the poker content and the fun stuff we done, house was surreal and location got to mountain bike down this route (not us btw)



mine had more falling involved



all the team and people that were there were amazing and i learned a whole bunch of **** i was doing wrong and some stuff id never evern thought of doing so all in all +EV trip for sure

climbed a mountain




and got a pic of me bollock naked with coffeyay and aljiaz which im not sure if even a blurred genitalia version is suitable for puplic consumption lol

IRL been a mixture of absolute terrible and absolute amazing....for the IRL stuff and yes legit brag i got engaged to this dime <3



ive been forced back working while i learn heads up and spins and i absolutely HATE IT its the complete WOAT but if anything its motivated me to be the best poker player i can be to get back to the grind, full time, you dont know your living not having to work! u can laze about in your pyjammas. eat and sleep to suit your life choices, go to gym or train or do your hobby any time as many times a day as you want.. i now know what eminem felt like at detroit stamping in 8 mile, all i do all day when im working is grind HUSNG vids and some GTO stuff and dream of being able to play all day every day and have my freedom back and $$$$$$$ flowing. i have steady cash for now so dont rely on poker money which is good (cos no1 wins at pokers obv)

poker

played a live event this year UKIPT edinburgh elimenated on day 2 late by my friend but got me the live bug back more on that later......

so had a terrible start to the 30s because for lack of a better reason I SUCKED a monkey with 1 arm could beat the 15s if he tried and studyd enough thats not the case at the 30s, u need to be up to scratch on your reg game, which being a MTT donk i was not at all, total exploitbale fish and it showed, with spinlyzer and loads of time at work, or time off i take for study or to do stuff with my family and throw this in i can see were im leaking most and filter it in pt4 and work on how to improve,

so thats my only goal here improve, move up, make some money along the way its a bonus

30s overall to date



thats pretty bad?? well this year its time to put up or shut up,

my volume is laughable but i can litteraly get in 40-50 games a day if im lucky with IRL stuff, my son, my job, and i train now back doing muay thai and circuit training and eating cleanest ive ever ate, food prep FTW btw if u guys want a blog on that and some workouts id be happy to help you lazy ass grinders get in shape!!



and heres my 30s to date this year not the greatest but a vast improvement from the first 3500 games



i promise to do a full colorado trip report as i owe it to the guys there and everyone i met who we still all keep in touch guy binked the mil (kovoon) big shout out WAL etc etc that was at our camp, gripsed 2nd in the sonic last week boss of a human being outside his poker bossiness, anyway will get the pics and report out soon like next few weeks and will update with 30s graphs every week or so on here again, hope everyones been crushing it

welp 1k games in and weve got the EVroi 2.3% vast improvements on previous months, beating regs and fish to small sample as well but gimme a break, hopefully get 1500 out before end of month and improve that to 3%+ maybe win some money to .......... LOL ok il keep it realistic

gl in the spins people scoop coming up to remember my life used to revolve around this series, filling my self with delusions of watches and manies, these MTTs are great structure and the greatest in the world play them, the cream really does rise to the top so if ur a low to mid grinder taking some shots GLGL hope u bink big!

I'd be really interested in the right now

I'm about to start going to the gym for the 1st time and eating better to get my weight up. I've hired a PT because I'm generally clueless but I'm just not sure on how i'm going to organise my eating plan and the most convenient way to prepare food for the week ahead.

Stoked to see this blog back up and running. Congrats on improving! I'm playing 30s too while grinding a full time job + similar real life activities so I can appreciate how much effort you have to put in to get good volume and study enough to beat this level.

My goal is to move up and go pro too so I will be eagerly watching this thread.

well PTs are expensive but worth it if ur really unmotivated. im honestly thinking about doing coaching for eating and training grinders and putting a thread on 2p2 got my nutrition game dialed and have fought b class muay thai trained for over 6 years so think that qualifys me to get some lazy arse grinders dropping some pounds, its really not hard at all man eat clean, train hard 3 times a week or more and grind that for 12 weeks ul be a different human, il do a post on my food prep for the week and a small food diary if you will for you to have a look at mate GLGL

*disclamer, im not a fitness guru or a masterchef or claiming invented the tomatoe, food is my passion, i love it!! this is just a we bit for fellow grinders and maybe it will help someone if u have a negative comment send it to the complaints department at www.GO_EAD.com ty*

ok so a few of you are in bad habbits for eating, this is standard, so much BS fed to us from supermarkets and companys that its not hard to become confused what weve to eat to be optimal in our field.

our field is poker, were we sit for long periods of time motionless, and some of us only have 5 mins per hour to do our eating/cooking which is near impossible leads to eating proccessed garbage!!

SOOOOOO what do we do to combat this, well? easy really dont eat anything that wasnt on the earth before we got here (to a certain extent) stay away from all processed stuff, white flour products , white sugar products, ready meals, micro meals, if it doesnt go out of date for a year n its a piece of meat its probably not meat lol

things to eat

lean meats -(chicken, turkey, beef. bison, some pork is ok to)

seafood: all of it please yum

vegetables - broccoli, peas,carrots, courgette, mangetout, sugarsnap peas, peppers, baby corns, spring onions, red onions onion lyf!!! all kinds and mix it up they dont have to be bland as ul see

fruits , tastyest thing on earth a fruit salad takes 5 mins to make

avacados are life good fats good energy

u can live off that alone, i like to add some others tho

almond milk
eggs
oats
swapped out potatoes for sweet pototoes to
wholemeal wraps
some egg noodles for stir frys

thats basicly all i put in my body (exept weekends i go ballistic on alcohol pizza and all mannor of ****) i live by the 5/2 rule 5 days strict eating clean, 2 days i do what i want, this isnt to say i binge eat 5 pizzas i still eat nice healthy **** but may indulge more. my bodys never reacted bad to this, not to say its optimal it just suits me every body is different!!

so all the meals here a monkey with a kinfe could make. u can make them in bulk, put them in containers and theyl keep for 3 days in ur fridge then just nuke em as u need em, in my peak i was making for 5 days on a sunday, lunch and dinners and making breakfast pre grind and never seen anything go off, i stick to 3 days cos i just think its the sweet spot

food prep

wether it be making a weeks worth of breakfast lunches and dinners and storing them in your fridge/freezer as meals, or prepping for a few days of hard grind all u need is

A)ingredients/shopping for ur chosen meals (obv)
B) knife
c) george foreman grill type deal (makes ur life easy)
d) if u can get one of these it will increase ur time out the kitchen tenfold and stop you cutting up your fingers



that helps chop onions, and all the veg ur putting in stir frys salads etc (dont worry there tasty)

e) this is preferance but i keep loads of seasonings around , piri piri , cajun, garlic and chilli, lemon and herb all these are essential in making healthy food tasty, otherwise its bland and your less likely to stick to eating clean cos it tastes like dry chicken and leaves (puke)

f) a spare few hours to prep your food and loads of tupperware/plastic ****/jars whatever u want

types of prep

so imo there are 2 types of prep one is making ur protien and carb and fats and putting em all in a box and storing it as a meal for later consumption, this is kl but gets boring after a while, but it gives u complete control and no messing about at all once its done its done, ur fridge is like a healthy ready meals sesction.

the other is wear u grill 3 chicken breasts, some steaks or w/e in different seasonings and have chopped veg (red onion , courgettes baby corn, spring onion) all that stuff in seperate tubs and decide 'ok ima have chiken breast salad with xxxxx or im going to have a steak wrap with pepper and some piri piri salsa'

the 2nd method is more just being prepared and shaving time off ur cooking but still pretty good i mean u can go in on 5 min break and make some nice healthy wraps up this way

simply grilled chicken wholemeal wrap:
with chicken i seasoned in cajun powder and grilled on the foreman and chopped into a box (previously), then put some baby spinnach on there, cut in half cherry tomatoes, red onion, black olives, a drizzle of greek youghurt and roll that **** and back to your computer!! EASY and tasty and very healthy

and if u have all that boxed up it takes >2 mins to throw together, u have complete creative freedom also this is just what i like!!

full prep



this is were i grill chicken/beef/prawns and make up box's of lunch and dinners to eat i always cook breakfast fresh or have oats
*prawns i usuly make on the day as they dont keep past a few days*
breakfast tho <3



brown bread with avacado spread all over it, bacon, grilled and fat removed, some cherry tomatoes, and a poached egg on top some pepper n salt obvs!! gotta have flavour!

and this all goes in the fridge>>



these boxes i make go like this grill chicken and veg with some seasoning like so



then i chop up a few sweet potaotes into wedges or fries whatever u like cook in oven for 30 mins at 180 coat with piri piri or chosen spice or just salt n pepper if u like and have a full breast (chopped for ease) a cup of veg mix it up whatever u like, and a cup of sweet potatos, i dont meassure i just do it with what i like.... again this is me u can out whatever the **** u want in them as long as its not pizza, side of fries, and scoop of ice cream then u should be ok!!!

thats usualy dinner

for lunch il have a salad which i made my own dressing for which is ****ing awsome if i dont say so my self, the jars are just so it doesnt get soggie, this isnt my idea and its epic u can use tupperware but stick to the principles that ur tomatoes/onions etc go at bottom and any meat/leafy rubbish at top so it doesnt get soaked (the tomatoes and stuff in ur dressing actualy get pickled and taste incred)



i make mine like greek style as i love it, theres a million ways to do them look about online goes as follows

grilled seasoned chicken
cucumber diced
black olives
red onion diced
tomatoes chopped up
little bit of dressing bottom of jar

and thats it make 2 or 3 of each bang u have 3 lunches and 3 dinners and complete contorl of what you eat,

for snacks i snack on fuit, chopped mellon, pineapple, watermollon (goat fruit) apples grapes and nuts to almonds, and walnuts are filling and can throw some piri piri on em and bake em make a batch if u like

so thats a quick into and hopefully some of you take heid and stop being fat dweebs!! eat like that alone and ul drop pounds fast, add in running 3 times a week and ul shred up, add in interval training once u have some base fitness or better yet some boxing, muay thai, mma or martial art and boom ur body is a lean mean fat burning machine just gotta grind it for 3 months min before u see wow resutls!!

and now i play spins so only prep if im busy at IRL work so i get to make these whenever i want lol all so ****ing easy makes me wonder why people arent all cooks. if u want recipes to any of these check out my instagram @squiremaguire86 theres loads on there

if im being stric i have no noodles with it, i make my own sauce but the ones u buy arent full of crap really il include my one and my dressing at end

anyway stop being lazy buy some meat veg and fruit and get making, i suggest the lean in 15 book also lad has some banging easy to make meals and workouts for you that u can do in 15

oh and for the stir frys i make i either use the blue dragon sweet chilli sauce or oyster one there nice and not to bad for you or i make this one tasty and simple

garlic, chilli flakes, low salt soy sauce (as much as u desire) , lemon juice, 1 tsp fish sauce. and thats it big hitting flavours and chicken and veg or prawns usualy.

put garlic in with oil pre tossing veg and meat in for best results, cook it up add sauce ingredients at end and leave to simmer for a minute and serve

salad dressing i just do by eye and dont messure tastes diff every time and i dont care to change this its nice makes **** boring veg amazing to eat so here it is roughly messured out

extra virgin olive oil 2 tsp
balsamic vinegar 1tsp
lemon juice 1tsp
wostershire sauce 1/2 tsp
wholegrain mustard 1tsp
and a glug of natural honey

mix it all add some salt and pepper and your ready to go, u only need a tiny bit in bottom of each salad jar/box and it goes a long way

check out flavour of god seasonings also i got some total wages on everything!!
