Longtime reader, decided to make my own Poker Goal and Challenges thread to help motivate myself to stick within a proper BRM strategy and build up a bankroll from $2 spins. The goal is as follows:

[x] Deposit $50
[x] Play $2 Spin and Go's
[] Do NOT move up to $7 Spins until at least 1k games at $2 have been played, with a cEV of over 100
[] Have BR reach $1000 by end of September
[] Play 1k games at $7 with cEV over 80


Little background:

I've been playing poker for about 3 years - never properly studying, only playing and reading forums here and there. Have never stuck to one type of poker - would always drift between SNG, MTT and cash.

I've decided to try to grind Spins for the forseeable future - I have a job that allows me to work from home every day, and usually finish all the work I need to finish in a couple hours, leaving me 8-9 hours to focus on grinding.

Anyways, here's the challenge thus far, having started today, playing 45 min sessions throughout the day:

Did rather poorly on the x5 spins, and my first ever x15 spin I ran A10s into KK with 10bb and KK held.

Took Thurs/Fri off, was visiting friends and family a few hours away.

Played a few more before I head to a friends BBQ for the day.

Wasn't playing too great in the 5x multipliers today, caused me a little tilt but I quit before I let it affect my green line. Running a decent amount above EV. Any idea how I can filter for results based on 2x vs 5x multiplier? I *think* I'm running below EV in the 5x, but want to confirm.

I'm at 500 $2 spins now, not going to play anymore today as I'm chilling with friends for the labor day weekend. Also noticed I'm playing poorly today, not focused so better to call it a session. Just dropped under 100 cEV, so need to focus on making better decisions next session.

Taking the rest of the week off to catch up on work, etc. Will be back next week to get the last 400 games and drive my EV up > 100 so I can move on to the $7s.

Been a few days since update, moved halfway across the country for the next few months. Started mixing in some 7s with my 2s games, doing better in the 7s so far (200 games).

Deciding to move up to 7s a little earlier than anticipated (at 700 games instead of 1000 in the 2s). Current progress:

Obviously red line is quite concerning - any advice? Bluff more on rivers?

take the showdown and non showdown off. those things don't mean anything in spins or SNGs/MTTs whatsoever. dont care about those. they only remotely work in cash.. your doing fantastic it seems but also running like an insane person. both which is good. But seriously don't care about that red or blue line. they dont mean anything in sngs / spins
