Hi,

my name is Oliver and I'm from Germany. I'm 26 years old and currently writing my master thesis in math, so i have some spare time to play poker.
I play poker since about 6 years. Mainly playing z100 with some z50/z200 and the occasional shot at NL500-2k.
Decided to start a PGC to keep me motivated. I'll try to atleast update twice a week.

Since everybody love graphs

Its all i currently have in my DB (since may)

I actually thought his river sizing is quite good with big parts of his range. Turns out Pio is pretty much blockbetting pure with any 9x and not even overbetting as much with Jx and bluffs as i was suspecting. Nevertheless overbetting river here is quite good if you nodelock that the pool is not slowplaying enough Jx here, which i think is is true here.

Also i thought my A3s is a pretty high freq call, unblocking all bluffs. Seems like its not as clear. Pio actually raising quite a bit with this particular combo, which i havent even thought about ingame.

Bonus Hand vs aggro reg ( His flop sizing is just never value. Only afraid of AJss/AQss)

Hi, don't you think checking is better on the turn? He has got all the ovp's and will mostly fold AK now. There's some random flush draws but you're not really shoving for value there regarding the hands that will call you down

Seems a bit weird, but I'm sure this happens in equilibrium quite a bit. I think JJ/TT specifically do this in 3b pots even in tight positions. They benefit so much from protection.

I don't know if the small sizing is a thing but it would make a bit of sense.

I think you're right, altho its not really about getting value there, thats why i thought a smaller sizing might be a thing. His range should have quite some suited broadways and he should prob jam all of them on the turn when checked to. But since people don't jam AQ/KQ of clubs and similar here enough i cant really x/c profitable and it felt bad to give freecards to these type of hands.
Maybe x/f is just best vs pool. Will check with pio later.

I had a "similar" solve UTGvBTN. TT shoves turn very low frequency (close to 0%), and mixes between x/call and x/fold.

It's an old solve with some scetchy ranges so not too accurate.

Let me know your findings.

I think I would raise 2.2 or 2.3 x on the flop to deny equity vs AK KQ and not isolating to JJ+

turn X/C
if X/X, blockbet 25% on the river to value AK

The 40 bb shortstacks will probably out flip me for all my $ before you have a chance to get it anyway. Looking to upgrade my setup sometime soon. Will ask for your take in a few weeks.

This is actually quite accurate PIO is betting about 10% here and also prefers small sizing when betting. EV of checking and betting small or big are pretty simillar tho. When nodelocking for people not bluffing TURN IP enough here when checked to, Pio is literally always x/f.

This is also true Pio always chooses the smaller ~2.2x sizing on the flop when raising (and betting turn ~15% of the time small) and obv block blank rivers when turn goes x/x.

So in total i would say against pool the best course of action is x/f mostly and sometimes betting small and folding to a raise.

Live poker is ossum man, but it has to be with the right group of people.

Interesting line with the A K. Are you balancing that to some extent with JJ-AA, AJ.. or was that just a pure exploit?

Just some sweet ownage against someone who feels like s**t about all the hands he arrives in those spots with (minus tiny slivers of his range).

Def balancing some there, mostly with QQ/KK. Against that specific player after checking flop, i prob x/r AQ/AK with bdfd every time and even some offsuit combos.

to be fair, I'd hate beeing in these spots myself against almost all regs at these stakes.

Played a small morning session. Will do some study now and play some more later.
