You have the best no education required non-hard labor jobs all around you in sfla (service jobs). Seriously just go be a server or bar back and start building your roll again.

So you have depleted a roll 2 years in a row, what's the plan op?

I will be updating soon. I had a very awesome person from here give me some coaching today at 1/2. It has been the nicest thing anyone has done for me in the poker community.. I'm going to Hardrock tomorrow with under a buy-in and going to attempt to run it up. Thanks for all the encouragement guys and gals.

I have a ton of experience in the hospitality industry (server at Katsuya in South Beach at the SLS hotel). I may have to if I run bad for the next few buyins, but it's not the goal.

I did a partial write up and never finished it. I ****ed up, got drunk (I never drink). I did a lot of debauchery, we will leave it at that. One day I'll go into explicit details.

You've obviously got some major leaks in your game but the first is taking money out of the roll to live on. Spending leaks can cripple anyone or at the worst resign your fate to a game that you shouldn't be playing in long term. You've got to fix those first. I don't care if you are winning $32 dollars an hour overall over 500 hours. If you are spending absurd amount of loot on bills that is a major problem.

I hope you find success and trust me when I say this we are all rooting for you but I agree with the others. You've got to find another way to cover your expenses and slowly build up a segregated roll.

This my feel horrible right now but if you bounce back and learn from it this experience might be the best thing to happen to you.
I appreciate the words munlochi. I have been playing 1/2 wrong since I started.. after today's coaching session I really realized I was taking the wrong lines in a ton of spots and also not thinking correctly about my opponents. I can't tell you how much this person from this community helped me today. I am forever greatful and indebted to him. He's offered to help me for a few weeks with coaching... I'm his charity case... why? You're going to have to ask him that. I'm just so stoked to get to the table and think about this game of poker and beat some noobs up.

I luckily have hardly any expenses and I won't die if I go broke broke broke. I have nothing to lose. I got a roof over my head, amazing supporting family and a few people that I've met on my journey rooting me on along with all you guys... I'm greatful for what is happening right now. I'm broke but I'm learning more than I ever have before.

I'm not going to disclose that and will let him decide if he wants to make it public. It's just out of respect for him. He did a totally random unselfish act for me. He said he was paying it forward and just wanted to see me do well. And he figured this thread has given him at least the entertainment value for some of his time and the few hundred he put me into the 1/2 game with. He was giving me 100% of the profit. Unfortunately I didn't make any money and lost about $100. We then went to lunch to review the session and he gave me some amazing info that I wasn't looking at or was just not thinking about my opponents ranges in the way I should be.

I'm getting ready for the day, heading to play soon. Gotta run it up today...

If you only have a couple buy ins you need to be playing extremely nitty.

That's basically the strat, as much as I hate it. Hopefully, I just double up, double up, double up, and then can open up a little bit ok maybe one more double up, then open the ranges

When no limit Texas holdem is played the right way it is a very boring game.

Well I just gave it all I had. Was I'm the small blind with KK, mp2 raised 10, bu raised 20. I called and mp1 folded. Flop KT3. I check he bets 25, I check raised all in and he calls with AA, turn Q, River J... feeling pretty helpless... now I'm really really not able to play... what to do what to do.

That's variance, plain and simple. That's why quality brm is so important. You need 7k to play 1/2 the right way and at least 20k minimum for 2/5 with 500max. 25k would be better. A solid bankroll is the number 1 thing required for long term success. The more over rolled the better.
Everything in life can not be optimal but if it were 40k would be the number for 2/5 to be able to play exactly how you need to.

You may as well strike a match to your 345$. You are obviously a long way away from understanding variance.
