I'm making a habit of getting it in with 100% equity for tons. Happened twice now

Day 1 Update:

First 3 hours I was INSANELY card dead. But I kept cool and did nothing silly. VPIPed once in the 1st 30mins where it would usually be 40-50%.

1st double up:
So after 4ish hours i was on 20k at i think t400. I open 88 UTG

Folds to BB who calls. Flop t85r. he checks i bet slightly less than half pot. He check calls.

Turn is A, probably 4 suits now. I decide to bet around 80% because I dont think he folds much Tx and i am trying to set up a rvr pot jam (which I can now do) He can also have turned top pair or 2pr. I also want to look like I am "pushing him off a hand" etc. In reality i rep thinnish but w/e

I snap

he flips 77. he gee gees.

15 mins later. I open J9ss MP1. CO calls BB call. both players seem like regs.

flop: 67Tssc.

I check because I dont want to 3bt the flop amongst other things. MP bets 1/3 pot. Bb calls. I call.

Turn is Qs!

BB checks. I decide If i lead here I rep VERY thin (AQ + flushes) i am also very aware I can lose **** tons of vlaue from 1 pr hands and combos if i check . I bet about 70% pot. This leaves slightly under pot OTR if both call. slightly over if one calls.

MP calls. BB folds River bricks. I jam

MP goes into the tank. 1 minute later asks if set of 6's is good. I say i dunno or something vaugue. Once minute later he calls with 89s for the flopped straight.

Once minute later he has blown.

I get moved table then start picking up hands. I get KK in great spot V agrro reg but take it down pre. sigh. This happensa a few times. I pick up monsters and win min.



am on about 65k at t1000.

Then get moved tables. pick up AA, win med pot OTF.

then I defend T7o to CO open and SB whale call.

river brings flush with a 5. I value bet/blocker bet as lots of Ax air now has 1 pr imo

This is a bit fustrating. i then whittle in unavoidable spots. But i keep my head. I dont spew. I dont level.

Not at any point today did my ego try and make me outplay anyone. I didn't force spots despite getting 73o for 4 hours. I didn't tilt. I didn't 3bt unknowns in bad spots or without a reason. I didn't take ****ed up lines. Didn't try and bluff the guy who nit trolled me later . I think i played well today.

Conclusion:

Made day 2 with 38k.

Day 2 starts with 800/1600.

I think i played maybe 9/10 today.

I know what i doing with 20BB and i mean business on day 2.

Going for beers now with my best mate from home. Wil chill tomorrow and put my rape shoes on again saturday!

Why the big donk lead? Genuinely interested.

I think I am betting into a very strong range. A range that fish could get in OTF possibly drawing very thin. I want value from essentially 2 unknowns with strong preflop ranges. I am trying to bloat the pot as much as possible.

Also if I Donk I believe both players could get it in way behind... If I check raise.... The 3bettor might stack off but then UTG could prolly get away from his hand.

Idk I feel the line is good but ofc it may not be optimal.

Ending busting with a stop and go in ducking tiltin spot. Til if cod I got moved table with no reads so stop and go ed A2s after floppin gutter. Might jam pre I'd i had a rough idea of range.

Overall I had no cards and 20bb at best today so happy with how I played. Was redix I had to RF ajo UTG after folding for 30 mins on new table but meh.

Very very disappointed.
