I had so much fun doing my last PG&C that I simply had to do another one for this year. My last thread can be found HERE

Firstly I would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year! I hope you all had as much fun as I did last night! (I wrote this bit new years day)







Last year I had great success making the theme of my thread "DUCKS". It was so successful that I have decided to make the theme of my 2015 thread:

"ZOOEY DESCHANEL" and "DUCKS"

So all Zooey and Duck chat/pictures to go here please and refrain from being too duck orientated in other threads people - unfortunately asking the same of Zooey (note 1st name terms) would be silly.

I think overall this OP will be a bit of a mess. Mainly this is because I only really have 3 poker goals this year.

1. To make lots of money.
2. To greatly improve my game.
3. Play at least 100k cash game hands.


There will obviously be more specific goals developing all the time but for now I will leave it like that an be nice a vague! Number 3 is just a way for me to achieve no.2. I would like to be a winning player at 100NL HU, 6Max and FR cash by the end of the year but I realise sample size might make that difficult to prove. Essentially if I am not winning I will blame it on sample size and if I am winning I will not question it.

• Make good money

Update time!!

Just got back from a brilliant weekend with the lads! I drove the 5 of us to Manchester (2hrs) where we pub crawled for 5 hrs... unfortunately i wasnt drinking cos im on meds but meh. I then took 90 mins out to buy my Dads bday present ( a big one too) and accidentally bought myself some stuff from TKMaxx. Then we went back to hotel, showered and then headed out to some bars, i had a few beers in the end but we ended up having an early night pretty much. Partially my fault as i headed back early as my whole body started to hurt lol. But then we got up at 9am hangover free LADS and i drove up to blackburn for the blackburn wolves games. Rovers lost 1-0 in a pretty pi$$ poor game but w/e. Was a comedy weekend and banter was high at all times.

I had my little spew in the service station and bought this for NO reason sigh.



also i am coming off my penicillin tomorrow and i head to Finland for a little adventure in about 2 weeks so i am going on a super diet/gym 4 times a week until i go. So i will post an out of shape me tomorrow and then that will motivate me to get in quick shape for Finland

Ok, so going back on my diet now and hitting the gym 4x a week after recovering from tonsillitis and losing tons of weight. Will beast the diet for 2 weeks before Finland. Here is yesterday:

Little update:

Gym:

Gym went great last week. Hit the gym 4 times and played 5-a-side the other day. Eating super healthy too so one more week of this and there should be visible difference especially because of how shrunken I was.

Poker:

Not sure I have made a dollar profit so far this year. VPPs leave a lot to be desired. However, I am not convinced VPPs are my priority this year (or any other year). My goal has always been to be a great poker player who beats games pre rakeback and I am doing whatever I can to make that a reality. I feel overall poker has gone well this month.

I am playing pretty well and continuing to improve . I will post some graphs soon.

I am now dabbling with different formats but I still want/need to be printing from 6max on stars so I might need some volume goals at some point soon or ideas for some volume targets/challenges. I do not need at the moment to go crazy with VPPs but still getting in 1k game months should be the thing to do being a professional. It will not happen this month just because I have been playing so much cash.

Anyway, I hope the results start showing soon. They damn well should be haha.
