so ought to introduce myself i guess ive been playing poker little under a year my friend introduced me too it he knew i liked betting/gambling i am a gambling man, ive had success sports betting (bigger enough sample size/time span that im fairly confident saying it werent purely luck) started on them play money apps, anyway fell in love with the game instantly deposited on a site played for money not having a ****ing clue about all the different formats or anything jumped straight on them jackpot type 3way tournament things ha (the lottery factor hooked me in ha) anyway i played silly high stakes id just won a significant sports bet so deposited like £200 that i won and yh won a few of them lottery/type 3way shortstack tournaments £50 buyin ha then just went busto ha. Anyway deposited again some point and bounce around all the formats double or nothing sit and goes then speed poker then finally found cash games and realised i preferred them (never really played tournaments ive played the occasional one and actually had success in em profit wise but small field tournys plus think i got good natural feel for them the math somewhat and i dont mean purely card strengths) anyway yh cash game poker was what i settled on as was what i personally found the most interesting engaging (it was a really eye opener if that makes sense like each game i played i learnt saw my mistakes popping up and where i was going wrong/i realised how **** of a player i was/like there weretimes where i thought i was the ****ing **** ha chipping up doubling up my stack ha but frequently in the beginning i was extremely bluff heavy and hyper aggressive if i thought a board didnt hit someone or thought i could bluff someone off a hand i do it ha, and that was somewhat my undoing as for one i didnt even know i was loose ha i thought i was fairly tight now i know i really werent and was playing half of everything i had ha/what was funny though was id chip up steal a load of pots etc then cause so frequently i had **** all when i did have something id get carried away and go ham/for stacks with hands i shouldnt of been ha so yh that was my undoing in the beginning that and not knowing what **** bankroll management was and just jumping in any game i fancied at the time lol) never read any strategy or anything or even knew about starting hands in the beginning i went off of pure feel intuition/vague guestimate hand strength math (i knew **** like pot odds vaguely though and odds of flush/straight draw completing by river when one off and set turning into full house **** like that i knew that sort of mathy stuff but that was it) i think i learnt quite alot learning the game as i did and even though it was costly money wise i looked at it as the price for learning if that makes sense.
also i played emotionally and like a donk some sessions and just gambled it up purposefully and mega with mad swings ha id experiment too with different strategies try just be pain in the arse make them uncomfortable playing pots with me tilt people to get em make mistakes with varying success (funnily enough some of those sessions i won alot of buyins cause of that play ha, mainly due to them either tilting or deviating from their strategy and over investing with hands they normally wouldnt but did cause it was me ha/loose bluffy mcgee not knowing im not gonna go for stacks against em without being fairly sure im ahead).
anyway yh ive played predominantly for fun ****s and giggles and to just learn the game as i love the game/ didnt know about huds for a long time and even when i did learn about them i was against them and getting one as i thought it would hinder my learning(i still believe it does and probably would of/im glad i learnt the game as i did have through experience and lots and lots of trial and error experimentation) anyway i got a a trial version of it in october and thought **** it and decided to buy a small stakes version/one as i thought it be worth it purely for the ability to analyse my own play and strategy winrate etc/it will keep me honest/accountable to how well or bad a player i am so for that reason alone i thought it was a worthy investment/think ive reached the right point in my poker career experience whatever you want to call it where i think i can use it as the tool it is granted im sure it will give me more of an edge advantage too/more informed decisions due to stats but also ive played long enough without one and im comfortable enough in my own personal strategy plan of attack etc that i feel i can win with or without one now/i dont think its a crutch to my play if that makes sense (im gonna continue playing on few sites without huds too mainly StanJames and SkyPoker, just so i dont get sloppy complacent and it does become a crutch) yh ive played enough now i think i am a winning player and this experiment will either prove me right or prove me wrong ha (my biggest flaw now i think in poker is more tilt control for myself/and im possibly a tad too bluffy aggro still against people it wont work enough against (calling stations).
Anyway yh back to the main point i have a hud now so seems the perfect time to take this poker thing a little more seriously (meaning i genuinely want to be a good poker player and also a profitable winning poker player making money from my hobby) so yh follow along my journey if you wish and also any tips advice would be very very much appreciated.
im gonna post graphs hands etc for you to give me advice on and to keep track of my progress.
Im starting with 5buyins for 2nl (little small for a bankroll i know but i did some vague math on a poker variance thing and i personally think 5buyins for 2nl is plenty to get this thing going aslong as i dont get extremely unlucky or play like an absolute donk/and monkey tilt buyins off and yh im starting at the lowest stakes as i want the satisfaction of climbing the stakes so the higher stakes will be that more satisfying once/if i reach them, also being that im starting at the bottom im gonna log plenty of hands and gain plenty more experience learning experiences along the way plug leaks in my game develop new strategies as i go experiment a bit etc.
Yh so $10dollars deposited wish me luck ha will move up to 5nl once won $45dollars so once my rolls at $55 dollars then i will withdraw the $10 dollars then from then on it should be all profit.
move to 10nl once have $130dollar br
move to 20nl once have $300dollar br
move to 30nl once have $450dollar br
move to 50nl once have $850dollar br
then from this point onwards for the following stakes ill keep it super conservative and only move up once got 50buyins for each stake.
not sure if this is a bit aggressive for bankroll management or not any opinions advice appreciated/i will also work in a stop loss amount for each stake too how many buyins i need to lose before moving back down to the previous level/ill work it out some point thinking merely losing 1buyin then rebuilding in all honesty as do think my bankroll management is fairly aggressive and im playing at the minimum amount needed for each stake.
anyway yh thats all for now wish me luck.

first sesh 1table then 2tables played 3-4 biggish mistakes **** ups also 1 bad bad fold where i should of hero called particularly as i called the flop turn planning to do so, rest of play pretty happy about unsure about one hand last one but think i got pot odds to make the call/fairly sure was a plus ev call longterm i know i was getting it in behind but thought my pot odds made it plus expected value/breakeven at worse my maths says if i have 25%chance its a breakeven call so if i have 41% chance as i do its gonna be plus ev (any mathy folk opinions appreciated as not sure my maths is right or wrong there) ill post it up below and i liked my move personally opinions appreciated though and id like to hear them both for and against it.
against this particular poss full of **** opponent as i thought was a good chance they were full of it, when they shoved though yh i knew was behind but yh still think i had to call with what i stood to win.

oh played 1 table then 2 once got into flow of things (had headache felt a little not too bright sharp/focused on it like sonic at beginning so thought id take it easy casual and chill) fairly happy with the sesh, but yh def made some mistakes got unlucky few spots as everyone who plays this beautiful game does but overall werent too bad a sesh im up at least on the sesh not down so thats gotta be a plus at least, finished the sesh fairly early when table seemed a bit dead (too many tight ****ers didnt fancy hanging around couple hundred hands to spot a leak and or tell or betting pattern then wait for the right moment opportunity to make em pay, and werent in right frame of mind to force the action by loosening up too much and force them to make mistakes and pay me off with there strongish hands for stacks when im only gonna go for stacks against em when i beat there holdings) so yh decided just call it quits for the evening.
oh last note i only ever gonna play 4 tables max average 3 as honestly im not a good multitasker with poker quality of my decisions drops if i try add too many tables and i miss out on important information on my opposition betting patterns/tells/sizing of with strength of hands where i think they got bluffed off a hand or made a nitty fold etc etc showdowns **** like that (theres only so much a hud can tell you with stats observation of how people are playing in my opinion is superior, though def cant knock the extra info the hud gives me too has simplified certain aspects of my game and made certain players very face up actually) i heard people say more tables is better for making money and its probably true if your playing fairly straight forward ABC nitty style but im tryna become a better poker player and actually think about each and every decision and try exploit opponents etc and that and just dont think i can acheive that mass multitabling so yh climbing these stakes make take awhile but im in no rush i still got a hell of alot learning to do.

alright this evenings sesh was bollocks it was barely even a session at all, i played poorly i tilt/donked off half a stack when i know im never good to someone, i lost deep stack so like a buyin and a half or more calling a river raise im never going be good against given the action on previous street raised flop (set) turn my straight completes i bet he calls river he shoves when board pairs up given the action on flop and turn and against that type of individual tight nitty im just 98% sure im never good there so tat was a thicky moment (slightly caused by mild tilt at internet connection continuously cutting out) i sucked out bad on someone little later on which im not complaining but was just bad/play bluff by me sort of not sure but pretty sure was as i was most definitely not playing great/tilted and werent getting any real reads focusing on action cause ****ing internet kept cutting out? (mean i figured he had overpair so i thought bluffing the straight that completed turn all in in a 3bet pot may of been good move) any way i had a draw to straight on that turn and long story short i hit and sucked out on him with his pocket aces.
oh internet cutting out made me fold so many good hands or lose a bunch of medium pots i was gonna fight for which is gay/had full house aces full on turn and it timed out when someone bet into me turn :0 yh then from that point on internet literally every other hand would cut out try reconnect etc etc.
in the end i realised i was playing like ****e and the whole thing really killed my mood etc so decide to just give up for the evening as literally it was near every other hand eventually.
still up on the session but i know a good chunk of thats just ****ing luck as i played extremely poorly and like **** and ****ing pissed right off with myself there were so many spots in hands where i didnt need to lose what i did and could of got away with it and other spots where i know i should of bet if thinking clearly (but really werent from offset cause of the internet cutting in and out) anyway graph shows what happened and where i played poorly... bummed out still least im up on the session somehow magically hopefully play better when internet decides to actually work and when im a little less tilted and a little less dozy lethargic and a bit sharper mentally and on it thinking clearly quickly logically etc. stupidly i played one them bumped up to 3 tables near instantly was more a tilt thing at the internet keep messing me around so i bumped up to 3 tables when my thinking not quick or great and im tilted so yh all kinds of mistakes this evening.
any way graph below, this sesh today is from 683 hands onwards mark so you can see how **** it went.

another bad sesh tried out multi tabling 4 tables/i also played extremely aggressively and bluffy as you can see by my graph, with varying success (i got my money in bad and bluffed big into the nuts more than once) if you add my non showdown and showdown winnings it equals my winnings pretty much so im running according to variance but yh i experimented loads and played well tilted and bad for most part but was testing out somethings on people i didnt know, im up at least very slightly and pathetically on the sesh not sure im digging the hyper aggro bluffy style in these partucular games im mean can work just i ****ed it up got it in way behind far too often this sesh hence all them big huge ass swings in the graph, i truly donked around ha raised c/raised shoved turn with jack **** etc proper weird session surprised up at all.
judge it as you will ha call me a donk this sesh really was no smooth climb here lot/gambly **** going on ha.
