Trying to bluff someone off trips on zone = suicide.

At the time I thought it was a good idea but when I was looking through videos to add I thought this was extremely ambitious. I think if it was a better king I would have been snapped.

Thanks man, not much to go. After the challenge I think I am going to go up to Noosa and stay with a friend for a week. I'll do a review and study up there. Whats the weather like in QLD at the moment. Hoping I can go chill at the beach.

Great video as always, I have been meaning to ask btw. Do you reset your stack once you reach a certain point 200+ bbs or somehtinG? Just wondering because in the videos it never seems like you have over a 250bb stack in almost every hand, I could be wrong but I can't really recall seeing you with any big stacks in the hands that you show in the youtube vids. Keep up the good work, and so close to being done, Don't really think its possible at this point to hit 10bb WR unless you go on the sickest heater ever but nonetheless, still a solid WR at this point, congrats.

Someone is paying too much attetion to my videos hahhaha

But yes you are correct. Its been a year and a half since I studied 300bb+ play so I think I am negative EV when I play 300bb+

I think my edge is extremely high at 100-250bb so I decide to reset. I feel like my preflop play is A+ and rarely mistakes here and leveraging my 100-250bb stack vs population's biggest leak (preflop) makes a lot of sense to me. I am definitely planning on doing a lot of work on 300bb+ after challenge so I probably will not reset after that.

Also having trouble logging into Ignition right now (hoping its connection issues) so I will download hands and upload graph when I wake up tomorrow.

Sorry for delay

the logic behind the AT hand is sound but it seems like its probably a bad play on an anon site where you have no clue how good or bad a particular opponent is. you're risking $200 in order to win $100, specifically trying to get them to fold weak Kings. if you had no showdown value it would be one thing but a call is gonna win the pot a decent % of the time

if you knew who you were up against it would be a different story. but man, this is Ignition. last night I played a hand where I triple barreled on a Jxx board and got called down by K8o, who spiked an 8 on the river. I doubled up there, but if that was a triple barrel bluff spot I probably would've just quit poker for life

I totally agree with you man. This is my biggest leak. Trying to throw in x/r river bluffs that I know are theoretically fine but are just not worth it in these pools. However I actually think calling here is actually really bad. Obviously AJ and AQ I think are good calls but A10 seems very very close. Maybe A10+ can be calls and A9o and worse need to be fold or jams. Time after time I get put in spots on the river with middling parts of my range. Generally these hands have good blockers for bluffs. As a result these parts of range are played as a raise or fold. When I was editing video, I thought the A10o hand was extremely ambitious and would work better as a fold.

Day 38/60

Sorry for delay in posting.

Here is the graph for Day 38

I played very well in my first session and then my grade of play drastically fell. I think ran very well in the last session. I rated myself a 3/10 in my last session. Its funny how in March I played very well and lost yet in April I think I have played below average and results are completely the opposite. Poker really is a fickle game.

Anyway

Overall Progress:

Winrate: 7.43bb/100
Hands: 75,374/100,000
Donation to Charity Count: $15 - ranted a few times about stupid donk leads

Graph for 75k hands:

Also new vid is out!!!

Day 38 Video - check it here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhSanRnpQcg

Feedback on the 8d9d hand would be much appreciated. Probably the toughest spot I have been in all challenge!!

Day 39/60

Here is the graph for Day 39:

Played quite well on this day. Averaged about 7/10 for both sessions. My biggest problem with this session was GII with AK too much pre. I was also making some bad nit folds during the session.

Overall Progress:

Winrate: 7.54bb/100
Hands: 77,345/100,000
Donation to Charity Count: $15

Only two clips that were somewhat entertaining. I will just do a double highlight video for day 39 and 40. This will be uploaded sometime tomorrow.

23k hands to go!!

Nice vids and great progress!

89dd hand I think you've structured out your flop plan quite well and I like your reasoning for the 3b. I also think that it narrows down his range quite significantly in terms of your river decision because now there's practically no combos of 7x and 6x that raise/call the flop 3b. Also, as you said, you block 87s/86s/97s combos. On the flip side, you also can't have too many 7x/6x combos in your range so if he's a competent player he could be shipping higher flushes for value, but again there's few combos. Interesting hand. As played I like the line.

I hate the xc with 78d on that board. So many bad turns, and your line allows him to check turns. I would xr there all day.

AQ jam makes no sense, he is not folding any value hands for the price. You mentioned AA KK but they would surely be just jamming for pot on river. Optimistic would be an understatement with your play.

Short volume session. Played and ran pretty well. Mental state was probably the best it has been a while. Also felt very motivated to play (was feeling a little bit burnt out the few days before).

Winrate: 7.95bb/100
Hands: 80,883/100,000

Haha, but I was just really curious after watching quite a few like does this guy really never have a bigger stack then 250bbs. I honestly think it is very profitable to have a big stack in these pools because it sure seems like people love to punt it off to you. Also some of the short stacks will end up playing very straight forward as well vs a bigger stack as well.

Btw sick turn around on the second half of this challenge, looks like you are heading for a very strong finish. Best of luck and keep on pumping out that great content.
