Randomly and abruptly got super sick, thought my appendix had burst. Some of the worst pain I've ever been in + 104 fever...got checked out and some meds and recovering quickly. Lost some weight/strength though obv as I couldnt eat for like 3 days. Crazy how much I/we take our health for granted most of the time.
Will get back to it in the next day or two when I'm feeling 90%+
Hope everyone is doing/being well. GL
Damn that is a high fever. Glad to hear you're doing better.
It's amazing how easy it is to assume being healthy is "default" and running average when in reality if you're an adult with no major health problems or conditions you've run pretty damn good. I'm horribly guilty of this.

Thanks. And amen to the bold.

thanks on both counts, but ya unfortunately i struck a nerve with the ev gods by posting that and they took a chunk back, but still a couple weeks left to spin it up again!
Just got done giving "Coloring Book" it's first listen, liked it a lot. Excited to listen to it more. It's Chance's newest mixtape for those that don't know....I'd link it, but its too new to be on youtube.
This was an insane Saturday for The Players Championship, one good thing about being sick is you get to lay around and watch golf all day haha.
Anyway, feeling so much better, such a relief...being in good health way more important than poker ev obv. Playing some golf today to clear the head.
Also just got the newest Elon Musk biography, will prolly binge read it this week...dude is just such a visionary/pioneer/mover/shaker of our time, find him fascinating.
just quick post to say I caddied for a good friend in the NC Amateur qualifier today and we made it by a stroke, super happy/pumped for him. Playing Governors Club mid June to win that ish.
Alright, gonna try and put a little effort into this month recap post..
Poker Stuff:
Poker results were super meh...didn't play much(got very sick/vacation/etc./notice a trend here?), somehow ran above EV which is great.
Playing solid volume and getting grooved in leading up to WSOP on the 20th, pretty excited for this one compared to usually dreading going out there haha.
Coaching/staking has been going decently well and helped save my month in terms of $, so I'm happy about that.
Life Stuff:
Quite a few pics I have here..lots of golf stuff..
looking solid through impact.
little putting action
top of the swing'ish with a 6 iron
backlog of reading lol (a couple i have finished)
this is my buddy from high school qualified for the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow, went and followed him all Thursday, missed the cut by a stroke unfourtanetly.
The beer board at this micro brewery in Bryson City that is absolutely top notch
the outside patio of that same brewery
Masters Badge for Sunday
a 10 million dollar yacht that was so sick at the docks where my brother keeps his boat in Wilmington
So ya, getting back into gym finally after having to take it easy for a while after being sick. Wanna be feeling strong/healthy going to Vegas. Playing golf, reading, grinding, gym, and studying is the plan next couple few weeks.
Also had a pretty epic upswing in the cryptomarkets, which also made my month pretty solid. A lot of it was just positive variance, but I had what I thought to be good positions in a few markets.
If you like documentaries, I recommend trying out CuriosityStream, which has like 650 hours of streaming docs with some exclusive content and was made by Discovery Channel, seems pretty legit in the little bit I've experienced.
Loving this season of GoT.
That's it I guess, if anyone wants to grab dinner, golf(bringing my sticks i think), get a drink, etc. in Vegas, shoot me a pm.
let me know how that Bostrom is when you get round to it, k? And that beer board looks great, would like to see a big DIPA there though
I'm almost done with it, it's fascinating and well written, albeit some parts were a bit over my head(even though he did a great job making it digestible for the masses). It's a semi-dense read for someone without any education in AI/Math/etc. I'd imagine. Pretty sure you would love it. It's certainly a topic that needs more discussion obv.
Regarding the bolded, I agree, I like your style.
Have been catching some heat past few days, feels good.
Got some sweats in UFC tonight with Henderson and Faber(i dont know **** about UFC really, but my buddy who is a total boss said value in both). Also have some heat out there in golf(DJ win would be siiiiiick for me, Kuch solid result too) and a sweat in my golf DFS line up(my first one ever, def will be playing these every week now)
Will post a graph after the weekend is done
Edit: Peaky Blinders is one of my favorite shows on television for sure, this latest episode with Tom Hardy was so good man.
awesome golf pics and masters badge! I was able to make it to the par3 day at Augusta this year. The course is so incredible when seen up close and a lot more undulated than i thought!
Keep your greens fresh and that line on its upward slope! Glglgl
green slope up is the goal!

Ya man, its surrreal being there, and i totally agree... knew it was undulated, but you don't grasp how much until you see it up close and personal.
