Hey man been following your thread off and on since the beginning. Am happy for you that you are doing so well. Shows what can happen when you have a good work ethic.

Also 400nl is actually 100 times higher than where you started lol

As for moving abroad next year, my advice is simple - go for it.

There is plenty of useful info in the travel forum, have a read of some of the threads there and most posters will be happy to help you plan your next adventure in 2014.

@Spudhead
Haha yeah you're right, it’s 100 times higher not 10 times Thanks for advice and I am really glad you told me about those treads in 2p2 forum. I definitely need to give more attention to 2p2 forum and check it out.

Pretty fine day. Was planning a lot to create pretty good and flexible schedule. Everything seems very professional and I have each files I need in one place. It should increase my work. For sure I feel more like pro right now. I want to be as professional as I can. I read Letherass book and I try to implement as much ideas as I can. This guy is great and I think the same way with a lot of the things. Before I'll go somewhere I want to build pretty solid work ethic again. I get lazy a bit when I was living with ex for month and a half.

When someone prepare for you 3 meals a day, you have enough sex and everything you get lazy a bit, that's why I did install rescue time again. I want have even better work ethic. Putting 50-60 hours a week is not enough, those hours have to be high value hours. BTW today was talking for the very first time by inter cam. It’s great. I don’t know why I didn’t try it before. Was talking with this chick who didn’t tell me do we see each other in 2 hours when we should meet and then sent me 50 sms when I didn’t replay her back Still this talking by cam is great.

Even though I have i5 and 8gb ram on my latpop I have some problems with HM2, that's why I want to test PT4. Everything seems fine but somehow it doesn't work with Ipoker. I have the same folder adress like with HM2 but PT4 doesn't seem it. I hope it will work because it's tilting when you try to mark a hand and you have to open 4-5 times because HM freeze or when you have to write few times notes because it freeze as well.

@ani_colova

Need to think about it, thanks

Today didn't check my cashier balance even once. Felt much better because of it. I think I need to check my cashier only when I think I hit a stop-lose. I think PT4 will work fine, I want to test it for a while. Support didn't give me an answer for like 2 days until I spam them, 3 tickets and forum. Then I got an answer in 15-20 min.

Was checking luck bell curve in PT4:

Since September gained 4cm in chest, 1.5cm in biceps, lost 1 cm in waist and gained 2.5kg. Not that bad, but could be better. I am very happy with strength progress. I start from dumbell benchpress with 25kg and ended on 35kg (32.5kg 8-8, 35kg 6-6).

re: The Diary of a Poker Pro

@icesindri
Thanks Great questions! I think no. one is fully commitment to my main goal (poker), no.2 is surrounding yourself with right people. Second one is very important because, will write more about it in next week.

It’s time to sum up previous year. I sum up the same things over and over again to see how good I am dealing with those. Order is random all of them are must-improvement.

$ and Poker (9.5/10) – I am very happy with progress. I changed a lot. I was losing player, I’ve never been higher than nl25 6max I was losing there now, I am shooting at nl400 HU. I understood that to be rich I have to spend my money on right things, I used to be person who didn’t spend cash on anything, I am still fighting with it, but I am getting better and better. I am improved a lot as a poker pro, as a self-employee, as a businessman. I learn a lot from Gordon and everything. I think I could do much, much better. So why I am so happy about it? I just didn’t knew better, I am who I am, I have my own strengths and my own weaknesses, sometimes I just need to “hit the bottom” to learn something. In year my life savings and poker BR doubled. I am very, very happy about this aspects still I feel big hunger in this area, I can do so much better and this is going to be my main focus this year.

Relationships and friendships (9/10) – I am also very happy about it. I was overworking I didn’t have enough time to focus on this, still I strength few friendships that I wanted to, get rid of few friendships that was charming for me. Improved a lot my relationships with father. Had great relationship and was living with GF for month and a half or so. I’ve meet a lot of fantastic people. I’ve forced myself to approach directly to women, I tried few new things in bed. Had more sex than in previous year, go out with more women than in previous year. I am pretty happy about it as well. Also I improved a lot when it comes to talking with unknown chicks. It was hardcore for me at the beginning of the year, now I can easily talk with them for 5-10 min even if I didn’t knew them before.

Lifestyle (11/10) – Moved out from father was one number one goal. Living on your own has a huge impact on your lifestyle. I’ve been to Amsterdam. Even though I moved out, had more sex, earn much more than I did I still can do soooo much better in this aspect, still I have to compare it with last year what makes this year great. I also hungry for more in this area.

Body (8.5/10) – Two months ago I would say it was like 10/10 still I was overworked and I’ve lost some muscle, gained some fat, etc. I was forcing myself for toooo long without any breaks I’ve been working for 8 months with one week free when I had pneumonia and two 2-3 days breaks. This week was my first free week since I become poker pro. I was overeating because of tilt, get drunk because of it, etc. I have to learn when to make a break. Still I am stronger than ever before, I bench pressed 100kg, I have much more muscles than year ago, lost more fat and everything. I am glad with my gym progress. After today’s work out I saw that getting back to my best body will take 1-2 months so overall I am very happy with it.

Character traits (10/10) – I am much more disciplined. I improved when it comes to facing fears a lot. I ****ed up my old comfort zone. Still I am very uncomfortable with a lot of the things but I made a huge progress when it comes to it.
I also did huge improvement when it comes to my English speaking abilities. I used to be shy and had problems to talk in English. Right now I like it very much. I can’t wait to talk with someone in English. Yeah I do mistakes. Yes I don’t speak fluent but still I can easily talk with people when I am abroad. There were nothing

Total (48/50) I wasn’t aware how awesome this year was. I mean don’t get me wrong right now I am not happy with my anymore with any of this. I want more in each aspect. I tried my best to look at those results from my perspective year ago.

Today’s graph:

Goals for 2014:
1) Build Poker BR of 80k Euro
2) Spend at least 6 months abroad
3) Train martial arts at least 6 months
4) Threesome
5) Learn new language (medium level)

To do next week: write about: Amsterdam trip and 10 most important things I’ve learned in 2013.

I am mega tiered. Was working on my gameplan whole day. Was doing only this and this is much more exhausting than grind. When you grind you do a lot of stuff on autopilot and when you analyse everything you have to think about everything and it makes you tiered as hell. Because of it I took two naps and ate twice as much as usually xD

re: The Diary of a Poker Pro

I’ve achieved a lot of things in 2013. It was really great year. Actually it was the best year of my life. It was full of new experience, full of facing fears and I’ve lost myself to create someone better than I ever was. I had dedication, I had hunger and I had right mindset. Change was only matter of the time. In today’s post I am gonna write about things that I’ve learned in 2014, most of them was learned hard way.

10 Things I’ve learned in 2014:

1) Dedication doesn’t mean not resting – Dedication is a must to achieve your goals. People who give up easy, who train like pussy and who aren’t ready to do everything they have to achieve their goal won’t achieve anything valuable. As they saying goes: you’ve got what it takes, but it will take everything you’ve got. Still you have to rest. I am bad at it but I have to improve. It’s almost as important as work.

2) You are happier than you think you are – If you think you are depressed move your lazy ass somewhere. Maslow’s hierarchy of needs is something that you probably heard about. When I was in Amsterdam I understood that I am much happier than I thought. I also understand concept of hierarchy of needs much better and it was no because of mushrooms We didn’t manage everything because it was on the spot decision. Long story short I didn’t sleep for 36 hours or so, I was wet, cold, hungry and I felt dirty. I was happiest man alive when I had a shower, ate something and went to sleep in warm bad. That was the moment when I understood to feel extremely happy we just need to break our lowest needs for a day or two.

3) Surround yourself with right people – it’s very, very, very important. When you surround yourself with people who are better than you they you also grow. By sharing experience with high achievers you achieve things faster.

4) Thought life lessons – Hardest experience in life are usually those most valuable one. The tougher it gets the tougher you become. Things aren’t easier it’s just you become better. I am very happy with all **** that happens to me, I am who I am because of it.

5) Life is an art of choice – Everything has it own price. You have to sacrifice one thing to get other. You have to know what is most important to you and then decide how you can adapt. It was very hard for me to give up on school. I was studying computer science, I used to like it and I used to be good at it. I know that most people want to quit studying because they don’t like it. I didn’t want to quit studying because I used to like it but still even if poker was choice with higher risk it was much bigger life changer than school. Do I regret it? No. I did best choice in that moment, right now it seems like good choice. Even if I would fail I still would be glad that I made this choice. It’s better to go too far than not far enough.

6) Personality – Very important thing is how you think about yourself. When I don’t feel like doing something I said I’ll do (like sitting right now and writing this post [I would definitely prefer to write it tomorrow]) I ask myself: “What rich people do?” Answer is always simple: “They abide they promises” so do I. When I don’t feel like working on my game I ask myself: “what would do poker pro?” Guess what is my answer . That’s why I am working so much.

7) Perfectionism – It’s very, very, very dangerous thing. You should start on the spot. You can’t wait for perfect moment. Perfect moment is now because it won’t be better. Tomorrow nothing change. Perfectionism is a great sabotage to yourself. “Hey do you want to change? Cool! You never did anything before but this year is very special let’s start with working out 4 times a week, keeping diet, working 10 hours more, learning language” You will easily get overworked and give up. More is not an answer, especially when it comes to goals. Revolution never last long.

8) Planning saves a lot of the time – I’ve been doing it for 6 months and it’s great habit. Each Monday I plan my whole week. It saves a lot of the time, it helps you keep progress and it’s important for achieving your goals.

9) Stop crying ***** – I repeat it myself over and over again. Most people don’t give a damn **** about your complaining and 10% are happy that you have troubles. Bitching about something change nothing, waste your energy, waste energy of people nearby and make it harder to find a solution. I like that I complain less and less often.

10) YOLO! – I always want to write this! It’s important to remember that you can die. You aren’t immortal. The worst thing you can do is let your dreams go away. Fear is awful it makes you weak and in the end things that you are so afraid about aren’t that scary. The more you force yourself to do things that make you **** your pants the more you know it’s only illusion. Facing your fear is essential to live high life. As Harvey said:

Btw:

re: The Diary of a Poker Pro

Tomorrow I have a day without PC so I won’t post anything. I decided I want to test for one month, doing Sunday day without PC. Today you have post from Amsterdam trip:

Today I am gonna write about my Amsterdam trip. My whole trip was spontaneous I just couldn’t do anything poker related and I thought it’s time for break. I called my friend and ask her about snowboard trip. She asked me like 5 times. She said she want go so bad and it’s such a great idea. I rejected this idea. I told her I am gonna work. Few days later I did a phone call. I told her I am in and I want to go. She said she’s hundred percent committed and she want to go. I laught a bit and asked her: “wow, wow, wow you are so freaking commited! Tell me one thing, what if weather isn’t great or we can’t go by car and we have to go different way”, “Uhm then I probably don’t go”. Damn such a commitment! I knew I can’t count on this trip, she told me she will let me know tomorrow when we go and where.

After that I phone called my friend. “Sup?”, “Hey dude, I was thinking and, hmmm… wanna go to Amsterdam to get high?”, “What?”, “you know I am sick of playing poker, want to get stoned and do something crazy”, “call me tomorrow, I need some time to think about it, ok?”, “sure”. Next day was like: “Hey, are you in or are you out?”, “How we go there?”, “Does it matter?”, “When we go there?”, “Tomorrow?”, “When we stay?”, “Does it matter?”, “hmmm. Ok I am in”. We want to go by train. Tickets are for 29 euro each but only if you book them two months earlier…. Normal price was around 100 euro. I told him we should try hitchhiking.

It was kind of funny, first day we get lost like 3 or 4 times before we came to highway to from Warsaw to Poznan then to Berlin then to Amsterdam. We were trying to catch something for 7 hours or so….. We were freezing, we felt like ****, we were starving. I never ate so delicious bread. Bread without anything was so tasty, damn… xD Long story short, we decided to pay guy to take us to Amsterdam. In car we met one girl, she propose us that she can take us at her place. Thirteen hours we were in Utter (very close to Amsterdam). We went to sleep for 6 hours then we go to Amsterdam.

When we were there, friend asked me: “so what we gonna visit first?” , “you mean bitches or weed?” I replied. He laughed and we went to search red light district. I’ve heard so many things about this place and I was dying from curiosity. Few moments latter friend from Poland send me SMS with info about great coffee shop. He told me that mostly locals go there. We had great quest for our first day, find this place. We went to “normal” cafe with wi-fi. I logged in, checked address, point it on the map and off we went. It was something amazing for us. You just have normal menu with weed:

I didn’t knew that weed can be energetic. More than that, I even didn’t knew there were different weed type, until I saw it. So many different types of weed to test… Red light district was also very awesome. Different bodies, different nationality, most of them was wearing just bikini, one of them had police officer suit, all of them were very seductive. There were also few ugly one’s…. Still it’s a must to see. The funniest was New Year Eve. We didn’t have a place to sleep and, most hotels was booked, there were one or two 3 stars hotels that want to pay them 130 euro for room from each of us. Friking 260 euro for around 8 hours…. We both knew it’s going to be pretty looooooong night….

To be continued.
