Just got back from wsop sydney, lost money overall but managed to run deepish in the main for 3x bi cash. It was my first time playing a live mtt ever and I couldn't believe how soft they are. When I busted the main (~60/1200) like half the field were still recs. Definitely will play more of them when I can.

2018 Year Recap

When online poker was banned in Australia in around September 2017, I was winning at 25z and losing at 50z on stars. I deposited 1k onto ignition and built a bankroll playing 50z with decent success. Come 2018, I started shotting 200z and fortunately they went well. I bought piosolver, and put an immense amount of work into it. In fact, I would attribute a large proportion of my improvement this year to the knowledge I gained from running a lotta sims. I'm quite happy with the level of play I maintained as I rarely spewed or tilted and was overall pretty switched on when I played. Bit disappointed I didn't hit that sweet 10bb but still very proud of how far I've come as poker player. Not sure how much I'm gonna be playing next year, but hopefully I'll still be around.
