Without going into to much detail, I require about $2.5k/month to cover my expenses, This will likely fall by about $500/month quite soon although I can not guarantee that.

I've basically been in a position where I've just about managed to make a living playing poker for quite some time now, but grnding month-month when I'm 40 doesn't appeal to me.

I'm starting this project today, Monday Aug 12th 2019, my 7 month goal is for my net worth to exceed $50k (aotm it's in the negative). I will be focusing this thead on the 7 day (1week, Mon-Sun) goal to give myself the ability to adapt in the event the results I'll be seeing differs extensively from what I think will be my mean avg. through this 7 months.

My bankroll to start this will be €205, I have €110 on the site I'll be playing cashgames on during peak hours mostly, €30 (CAD$45) on stars where most of my volume will be plo tourneys, and €65 on my e-wallet, planning on depositing atleast €30 on party to play plo tourneys, may end up finding another site with decent plo tourney action to put volume in on (GGNetwork comes to mind) but for now I'll stick with the 3 sites, not even sure my laptop can handle that workload let alone ggnetwork games.

the €205 isn't the extent of my roll, but for this project I figured I'd do €200 for a nice round number but miscalculated a little and doesn't really matter.

As a european in Southeastasia "scraping by", I do have a plan B and a way back home should the worst happen. I am however not ready to give up but I will do should I fail in this endeavour. I am however convinced, that if I do fail, it will be due to my lack of effort, while at the same time if I do put in the effort, I can achieve anything I want to.

Cambodia atm, headed to vietnam in about 2 weeks, not sure how long I'll stay there or if I'll head back here.

Roll currently sitting at a little over €600, so results have been good but am having trouble deciding what to do on offpeak hours, obv grind of some sort but so many options

Been 7 days since I made this thread, and it's off to a pretty good start. Roll went from €205->€725 and I also have a withdrawal to my bank for €600 pending, so profit should be €1120, which is quite good for the stakes I play, though I do obviously hope to do even better.

Update was due yesterday but stayed up till late for the sunday night grind and slept all of monday away basically. Roll went from €725->€835 for the week, but I withdrew nothing, and while I don't track my expenses (I really should start) they are definitely higher than that, so -networth week.

Week3 results are in, €940 profit on the week, as my roll grew from €835->€875 and I withdrew €900 to bank account, sadly it's around the time to pay rent so not much difference in my bank balance, but got a month of living space now to grind out a massive month.

The last day of the week is what made it, as Sunday (yesterday) brought in €430, played quite a bit of PLO100 and ran quite well, which was good timing as couldn't really afford to drop several buyins there as well as pay rent and still have a healthy roll for plo50, had planned on leaving were I ever down, but won the first all-in and quite possibly the 2nd 3rd and 4th and the games were amazing.

As mentioned, with the rental fee coming up I'll basically be where I started, I can't complain about the last 3 weeks results, but I'm planning a monstrous september. Quite a bit of my profit is rakeback/promos, and this month in particular it seems my rb% will be higher than august, I'm planning on putting in more volume as long as my play doesn't suffer (hoping to play better in sept than in aug), and I may have an opportunity to play in softer non-peak hour games this month than earlier. I'm just gonna drop €5,000 profit as a target for the month (the €430 sunday will be included), but I'm not attached to this number at all, it's something I have no control over, the goals I value immensely this month is:

- Play as much as I am planning (the extra hours will come from less wasting of time)
- Play as well as I am able to, take small break every hour to stretch and breathe. Recognize if my play has deteriorated, and take a 30min break at a minimum and do an activity that "resets" my mind.
- Become a better me;
-Improve my nutrition a bit (I'm gaining weight/fat at an above slight pace, if I can get down to maintanence to begin with that would be huge.
- Put in more time learning mandarin
- Go the to Gym or a Yoga lesson during the week (early monday morning is fine if it's "part of my sunday") as my Gym habit evaporated during mid June.

Week4 is over, started new week with roll @ €575, withdrew €975 over the week so the profit comes in at €675, a bit disappointing as I received €300 from affiliate from last months activity. Still, that means profit overview looks like this:

Week 5 is done, €400 to start the week with and a mere €310 withdrawal, so a 710-575 = €135 profit for the week. Poor planning on my end as I've stretched my roll too thin at a bad time (quarterly vip program) along with the unwelcome side of variance setting in at the same time.

I'll be putting in the work this week, next update may come once the quarter (month of september) is over as the milestone's I'll be hitting will be the major factor.

Week 6 results came in at +€375

Starting this week @ €625 and withdrew €150 last week (€775-€400 is the right way right?^^). This last weeks work will have impact on this current week though as I hit a milestone payout after ~15 minutes of play the first day of the week, if I manage to hit the next milestone this week I may have a massive week, although I think I'll probably have to hope I manage to reach this next one on the last day of the quarter (monday), and is possible I won't reach it at all, and while it'll suck the pts between milestones will be brought to next quarter so won't be worthless regardless. Say this as I'm falling a bit further behind pace, still doable, but will have to step up on the discipline side while making sure to have some semblance of balance so the quality of my grind don't spiral downwards.

May start updating a bit more frequently with more thoughts, musings and hopefully some updates on life changes and so on.
