Good luck with your challenge!
If you have a good 200nl winrate on ignition, I think you can achieve an hourly equivalent to live deep 2/5 games.

I doubt it. $50/hour in a 2/5 game is way harder than people make it out to be imo.

That's 10bb/hour, and you won't average more than 20 hands an hour. So you have to win at 50bb/100, after accounting for $6 drop +$1-2 tip every pot.

Imagine you open to 20 in the cutoff, BB calls. Pot is 20+20+2 = 44. If you take it down on the flop you only get pushed $38, which you'll have to tip a dollar on top of. So you only get a pot of 37, meaning the rake is ~16%. That is absolutely atrocious. To get to 5% rake or lower you need to have average pot sizes of at least $140, which is highly unlikely

Even in the juiciest 2/5 deep games I doubt anyone can run at 50bb/100 consistently.

Plus, live poker sucks all around. If I didn't have online I would probably quit/just play recreationally.

Thanks man, good luck to you too! My advice is to build up a roll from $1/3 live if you can, then play the highest stakes online you feel comfortable with/have been a winner at. Grinding through the micros can be soul crushing so I would do anything I can to minimize my time playing for pennies

^ Playing 1/3 while simultaneously playing highest stakes online one feels comfortable with imo is a sure fire way to get destroyed. I see so many live 1/2 players playing 100nl or 200nl online thinking it's not at least 5,000 times harder (which it is).

It's probably fine to play like 5-10NL for most of these guys but honestly think people largely benefit from focusing on a single format. A 1/3 player mucking around on 10NL isn't reeeeallly going to teach/help them much if their intention is to move up to 2/5 imo.

I don't get the hype about global poker being soft. Been playing there the last two days and it sucks. Every table is nitregs folding. Seems easy to run over, but it's boring as hell.

You can click on it to see the full size. Don't click the resize bar above it, that just takes you to the same small image for some reason. Just click the image itself

Nah, I don't think I can in the US. It's just how the hand converter formats the hands to make the HH work with PT4

Had a weird grind last night. Almost didn't play, but I checked out the 1knl action and it looked good so I jumped in, with a couple 500nl tables on the side. Ended up running well at 500nl, winning 3 buyins over a couple hours.

Unfortunately I did not run well at 1k. Lost KK vs AA AIPF. I've played less than 2k hands at 1knl and I've had two KK vs AA AIPF and a QQ vs KK AIPF. Looking forward to the other side of those one day.

Also got stacked with the second nut straight vs the nut straight and a straight vs flush cooler. I don't think I played perfect by any means, but I ran pretty poorly.

That being said, **** happens, my BR is plenty healthy to sustain shot taking at 1knl, so I'm not worried. Gunna put in a grind at 500nl and all the big sunday tourneys. Will update later

I really need to learn how to turn pre flop spew into flopped nuts every time. Really wanted to fold here, but I've seen people spew raise otf with Qx and then get it in so often in spots like this that I feel like I'm way ahead of a portion of V's value range. If I know my opponent has a brain it's an easy fold, but it's hard to tell in the first 5 hands of a tournament

Sometimes you run good, and sometimes you run GOAT. +6 buyins at 500nl tonight. Cashed in 4/13 tournaments, about to make it 5 if I don't bubble the 20k GT. Only 1 final table (in the $20 5K, smallest one I played today), crashed and burned the 107k after a decent run, and didn't money the high roller, but overall very happy with today's results
