Hi fellow 2+2ers

Haven't been around for that long at this forum but from what ive seen, it can be highly +ev to have my own blog. So this is me giving it a go

Why is that?

- It will help keeping me on track. People tend to not stick to their goals because life changes in different ways that keep us off target or simply makes us change target. I know for 100% sure that this is what i want to do so im trying every possible way to keep me from losing sight on what is my dream. Im also keeping a journal of my own, tracking my every session, rating it from technical to mental performance and so forth. I also have a huge visionboard that i carefully observe every morning that i wake up. But also every single day that im running on my treadmill, my eyes are wandering up and down on all these dreams i have. Dreams i WILL achieve. ( NL400+ in a year, 10/10 body etc ).

- But also to meet likeminded people. I dont have a single IRL buddy who plays poker. Their not even interested in it the least. Which is quite sad tbh. So ive had to learn all i know up to this point all on my own. Which i think has kept me from improving faster. Looking to move abroad later this year or next and hopefully by then, ive found a gang of people looking to achieve what im trying to achieve.

So who am i?

- Going to keep my personal information short as of now. Dont want to attract unwanted attention from ex GF and others. But thats a story for another day. But im a gentleman in my mid 20´s living in Europe. Have been a very successful salesman and had a few other jobs aswell. Also studied at the university. Thinking 9-5 would be a good idea. Lol...

- Pokerwise, ive been lolling around for a few years. Like most of you ive blown through quite alot of deposits. Just had poker as a casual hobby, was the typical fish. This changed around last new years or shortly thereafter. When i figured im fed up with having a boss. Im sick of feeling like i could do his job better, on acid and shrooms. So i handed in my notice and said. **** it, can all them others do it ( Poker ) then so can i. Its all about hard work.

So come february ive been unemployed and been studying like a madman. Literally figured out what range means and how my and villains range is changing throughout the hand, at the end of february. So basically, i knew nothing pre that.

Before my "aha moment" in regards to ranges, i always put people on a specific hand ( which was wrong 99% of the time ) and always thought people had the nuts when they bet. Or maybe dared calling down vs whales when super obvious draws bricked. Lets just say i was a nit and got bluffed of my hand way way way to easily. But now things changed. Now im a jedi mind tricks wizard who can read souls. Well, i aspire to be

Current status and whats the plan?

- I am currently playing nl20-25 on Ipoker, Microgaming and Pokerstars. Trying to tableselect and find them fishes. Which i feel is pretty important as the rake is HUGE at these limits.

- Currently reading up a ton of books and trying to put in a good 2 hours or more per day studying the game. Will probably get a coach later aswell.

- The plan is to have a SICK work ethic. I know i have to catch up if i want to get on this train. Which is all i want. Well, to be frank. The longer plan is to get ahead of the curve instead of chasing it. But cant run past until ive atleast caught up with the rest of you

The Challenge:

- I want to play nl400+ in 12 months. Else i will be hugely dissappointed in myself. Ive set in motion things that will let me do this. Its all up to me. No excuses will be made.

- Longer goal is to play nl1k+ in 24 months. But thats for next year.

- I will start off using a 50 buyin per limit BRM. Currently sitting at about 1300$. So im moving upto nl50 when i reach 2500$.

I will probably not withdraw nor deposit any money until i move abroad. As i have enough money in my pocket to keep me afloat for a few months. Things might change thou. The one thing that will remain constant is my goal to get to nl400 before July 2016.

I guess thats it for now. Dont really know how often or when im going to update this thread. Guess these things will solve itself coming weeks. But i like to keep i tight schedule and will probably do it quite frequently.

I wish all of you the best of luck and hope to see and battle you at the tables

Have been feeling really good lately at the tables. And have seen its the same lineup at both 25 and 50 on all sites i play. So ive decided i might aswell play nl50. I have the discipline to move down to 25 if my shot fails.

Current BR is around 1200$.

If i drop down below 700$ ill be going back to nl25.

Will also be dropping down to 6-8 tables only, finding leaks and taking notes of all the regs.

Lost 2 flips right away. QQ vs 33 and AK vs QQ. So left me in a bad place, decided to quit. Need to put my straps on and pull myself outa this the right way.

So i think its time for a 100k Hand Challenge.

- NL20-25 Only

- Can move to NL50 if i have 3evbb+ after the 100k hands.

Challenge needs to be completed before 25th of July.

Updates will follow regularly. Results only once a week thou. Want to keep me from being results oriented.

Will aim for 10 tables and play ABC for value.

Lol, ended up playing nl20-50 and couldnt make up my mind what stake to play. Things is changing all the time and im just following the flow. June ended up being OK seeins as i was on vacation almost all of the time. As in only on laptop once in a while.

July will have other things to offer, and it will be great

So heres the last few days at nl20-50.

So things are obviously going really good Which im happy for. Studying pays off.

Come July i will have the following goals:

- Play 160 hours of nl20-50

- Study 40 hours or more

Im not sure how often ill update so i wont say anything about it :P

Until next time
