Thanks man.

I can post more hands. I didn't get a lot of feedback early on when I would post a few (definitely gave up on that too quickly, my bad) and I talk shop with roommates and a few others guys... but I defo keep track of interesting spots and can post them in here after sessions. I'll throw some up from this weekend after it's over, I would love to get more feedback from the 2p2ers, at large!

Once you get a good amount of followers, the feedback will come. I'll be checking in and I tend to be pretty opinionated. Gl at the tables mane.

^ Thanks guys

Yah I'll keep updating. Now that I'm moved and settled into a grind for the next year at least until my lease is up, I'll be posting regularly and I'll post more hands, never hurts to have to more feedback and ideas.

Day off today, will do some studying though. Then 8 AM to 6 PM buy-ins each of the next two days. Hopefully I can put some stacks together in some interesting events to help add some excitement to this thread...

GL to anyone grinding it out today!

Got wicked sick Friday night. I think possibly a touch of food poisoning. Didn't play at all yesterday and thought I probably was going to miss the whole weekend but I think I have recovered enough to put in a normal session this afternoon. Unfortunately I paid off my package already as I thought I was done this weekend and so I won't be playing the main. I will play the $27 8max though on my own. And probably the Turbo Ultra Deep. So hopefully something good pops today.

I have 128k for tomorrow's Day 2... so hopefully we can find some chips early and ride it to a deep run.

GL to all the heroes grinding today at every level!

So this whole weekend just got completely botched. Didn't even get to play yesterday at all, my computer went tits up and I was forced to do a full reset and reload that didn't finish until around 3:30 in the afternoon and by then I was just fed up with it and decided to skip everything and wait for the Phase 2.

So it starts at 9:30 AM. Min cash is $22 and we have that locked up and 22 BB to try to spin up to a dream with 6 figures for 1st!

Vamos!

Blah Blah Bust

What a ****ty end to SCOOP. Can't play at all over the weekend, and then bust in like 10 hands of Phase 2.

Not that much lately, but with SCOOP over, I will be getting back to my 5-6 day per week regular grind, which usually includes 10-15 reg. speed 180s per day. I did try the turbos for a while earlier this month and had some success, but didn't really enjoy that grind.

I am finished school a while back now. Ugh, I'm old. Ancient in poker years. But I've been involved in a few business overseas including a restaurant and a handful of internet cafes in Bangkok. Those are now sold and I have a small stake in a family run business that deals in medical supplies which provides me a decent side income monthly and of course the equity stakes itself's value if I ever chose to sell. Otherwise I just play pokers... I've always made good money live cash cause well they are still really poor, but I'd prefer to grind my way up to a solid mid-stakes level (blakkman (or shakentoucan, maybe) is probably playing the limits I'd like to be at)...

What about yourself?

subbed, glgl on the journey man.

small stakes and massive fields can make grinding some hurtful sometimes

Id suggest adding in some $3.50rs 180mans, maybe have 1 for every 4 MTT's to try help with variance? or i even the boring.. $2.50 180mans.

Well, I'm not that worried about variance to be honest. I mean, I'm not really looking to grind out a "profit" at these limits. I'm looking to bink out of them and while I wait for that not go broke. I could, in theory, have just dumped some extra cash online and moved up a bit and grind a $15 average for a couple grande a month and I guess just lived on that plus my other income. But I'd like to ultimately get up to the mid-stakes with regular shots at the most valuable upper mid-stakes and lower high stakes events. So I felt it was good for my game, given the bulk of my consistent success has either been live or spread out over many years online to sort of "beat" each limit and therefore use poker profits to move up rather than risking a bunch of offline/life money.

And truth is, the variance isn't that bad at these limits anyway. I've run absolutely atrocious since January overall and yet I'm only down 8.16% to date. Monetarily, that's almost nothing at the $7.75 ABI I've been playing.

That said, I do feel like the schedule at least in my timezone has fleshed out decently, there are a lot more 2k-5k type offerings with $500-$1k up top that act as decent variance control events plus I tend flick in 8-15 $4.50s throughout the day to keep my table count up and those are obviously still very, very beatable for big ROIs. I tried grinding the $2.50s for a week or two, but just really didn't like the rapid fire nature of it and as I said, didn't feel I really needed them for my goals.

Anyway, that was a longer response than I intended to write

But good to have some people in here lately making it more lively. So welcome!

---

I'm back on the daily grind today and so hopefully we'll get some interesting hands and decent results to post soon!

As for my schedule, an example of today's "grind" looks like this - I start firing at Noon and with SNGs usually get around 30-35 events (I also include any Daily Majors up to $33 as well as Mega Satellites to the bigger Majors):

And last but not least, can't have a long post without a threadsaver, so I give you Jessica Swedberg in her Little Red Riding Hood Halloween Costume...

How reg infested do you find the payday's. Still enough fish in them at this time of the week?

I haven't noticed them to be particularly difficult. I've never had to go more than 2 bullets to get to Phase 2 (including SCOOP actually). Though, my stacks have always fallen between 30k-60k, I've never pushed a really substantial Phase 2 stack through, perhaps that has something to do with the smaller, slightly more reggy fields? Possible. But I like to use the $11 daily, once I have pushed a stack through, to play the Sunday Milly satellite, I don't know why but using extra money for that satellite bothers me... but using money I had earmarked for the Phase I's doesn't.

Profitable day, but really disappointing. Qualified for the $109 Mini Super Tuesday for $5.50... then got 127k stack with 100 to go and 17k up top and ended up out in around 87th for $220. FACK! I've got a few hands to post, two of which lead to my bust out. I got a small stack into Phase II, couldn't get any callers when I kept jamming in the final round, so I'll go with 18bb and a dream I guess. Anyway, played pretty solid as it was my first long session since late last week.

Daily Graph:

Should I just raise flop with this strong of a hand/draw or accept this turn happens and shrug it off?

Stacked this guy later and wish I had called now, but as played and both unknowns, I think the fold is correct?

I had 3b three of the last four hands and this guy was a massive CL at the time opening a lot of hands... I think this is a fold, but I tanked a long time thinking about bluff catching hands like KQ/109/108/98 etc... this was the beginning of the end.

I am just really not comfortable at these limits with push/fold/call ranges... no idea if 77 was a snap fold or a call... I had limited data on villain, but he had been quite aggro after being moved to the table...

So far this year, I have played three $109+ BI events (this and two Sunday Milly's) and cashed in all three for like $1100 in cashes, so I feel fine about my ability to play early stages and middle stages for the most part, though there is always work to be done, but I definitely don't feel as confident late stages and feel I am blindly guessing too much.

Kqhh fine either way
Qtss seems fine, would go bigger on turn though and shrugfold river against most
Kk I like to go bigger pre, pretty clear check back on flop, river is fine to fold
77 close one, really depends on villain, 66 clear fold 88 pretty clear call

Subbed, gl.

KQ - I'd raise flop to 1.5k~, especially with how small his sizing is and we have massive equity while likely already having the best hand.

QTs -Good spot to 3B pre depending on opponent. Larger on turn, I'm making it 2.5k-3k on turn. River is a check/fold.

KK - Bigger pre, you 3B three outta the last four hands and will be less credible, I'd make it ~15k. Flop is a check, Turn is standard, River is a fold, this runout is awful for our hand.

77 - Snap fold. Calling 99+ AQ+.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Didn't really play much yesterday, fired up a few tables, but was pretty tired from a ****ty night's sleep and decided not to play like that, so just let the 6 or 7 events I had up run out with a few bounties picked up and an insignificant loss.

But, feel good today and will put in a full session before taking tomorrow and Saturday off and then back for Sunday Funday.

I'll post an update with some more hands after my sesh or tomorrow morning.

GL!
