Re: Sacrificing it all for the love of the game

it seems like I am back lol. There is a certain feeling that I was getting when I was posting here compared to my own private journal. I can't explain it but it did not work for me. I think it makes me feel like I am speaking to somebody even though I am not, but it makes me happy and that's what matters.

What has been going on with me?

December of discipline is not going very well but I am watching way less porn which is a big leap forward. I have read something about "Your Brain On Porn" and how all this porn, social media and video games are fukcing with brains (now imagine young adolescent boy that is using these tools for many year time span) . Basically brain has been evolving for a long time and it did not get into this spot and it does not know how to react. All of this "unlimited source of dopamine and novelty" was and probably still is holding me back from reaching my potential but acknowledging it is a half of the battle. Will read some book about neuroplasticity of brain and see what can I do. In the meantime I will try to come up with habits of "acquiring dopamine from doing positive things for myself in the longrun". I am not sure if I am able to make a big leap and just delete all the social media but de-activating the account has not done the job for me..has anybody fought those demons in the past?

Gym grind is going great. My programming for this week is 1rm tests (week ago 2rm, week before that 3rm etc) and I love low rep / high weight days. It's so much fun and usually I get a feedback of how have I progressed. So far the numbers are back squat @110kg and deadlift @120kg. Although I have acquired a lot of physical strength over last weeks I am doing a poor job of pacing on the rower. Lately the trend has been that I totally blast first half of 30second work/30second rest row and the second half is just me trying to survive till the end

in regards to poker I think I am moving forward. I have created a good studying system (shoutout to Pads) and now I am just working a ton off-tables. I think I could play more (acutally i'm unsure if I am meeting the tournaments played per months standards) but I love learning and I think this environment I am in is a blessing and I should not be passing opportunities to not only get better as a player but as a person too. There is so much to learn that 24hrs are not enough tbh. to not forget there is no insurance that I will be a part of this community after my contract ends OR maybe I just hit SM next Sunday and decide not to talk to anybody again hahaha

Re: Sacrificing it all for the love of the game

Thursday

Got a workout in. Today has been quite ugly. I am too lazy to post todays' workout but there was a part where I had to do 30x Power Clean @40kg rest 3 mins 30x Front Squat @40kg. It was fun. NOT

outside of that I have just been cooking, eating and working with HRC lol. You need days like these from time to time but from my experience I can make it for 3 days straight and then I either need to chill for a day or to play to keep things variable

I was fortunate enough to set up 1on1 with Romeo and worked out an interesting topic for our session in ~2 weeks

Got my dopamine sources from positive things today. It is easier to fall down from the right path when you don't remind yourself of your goals and ways to achieving them. So what have I done was I created a few bullet points to keep me on track for the next few days in regards to the topic I study primarily at this moment
Spoiler:

Tomorrow I will basically do the same. Eat, cook, lift weights and spend a lot of hours working with HRC until I will completely hate it and turn it off

Quote of the day: " *talent* and *naturally gifted* are smokescreen descriptions of people who are better than you in what you do, because they practiced more, but you just don't want to accept it"

I could listen forever to ALC's instrumentals. He is in his own league, has his own level. It actually took me 3 instrumentals until I was happy with my decision

Re: Sacrificing it all for the love of the game

Friday

Today has been a very slow day. Woke up late, did not feel like doing much. Although I tried to do something so at least did reshoving vs 1 range and now I have only vs CO and BTN left. It seems like I am gonna have it done soon but the work has only started. The equity realisation estimates for certain stacksizes and all other BS is going to take quite some time but the foundation will be set. The rest will be fine tuning.

Stars have just announced winter series (25.12. - 7.1.) which basically means I get a free pass to study more than I planned for this month which is great. Will keep 2 day grind schedule and then will fire everyday on "series" which will be a great warm-up before series hit. Also it leaves me with some time on my hands that will allow me to close up as many projects as possible
They have also announced that EPT and APPT and whetever else is back which is just overall positive. Happy that somebody (thanks Party!) finally pushed them to make positive changes after all this BS that they were feeding people with

Overall I am just very happy with where I am poker-wise right now. Every month I feel like I learn something new and every month I am making big steps. Have a lot of a-ha moments which is great too. The question is more like: For how many months can I keep this up? There has to be a moment when there will less to learn..but i'd rather not think about such things since it does not matter that much

My approach is kind of different to most of the guys. I am really trying to push boundaries and limits of my poker knowledge and I am sure that some people just see me as being quite arrogant in certain spots (for example when we analyse hands or w/e). But I am just ok with taking more that I can handle because that is the only way I know what am I capable of. And opinion of other people does not have same value to me as my opinion of myself.

I missed 2 Romeo coachings because I always have to rewatch them so BAZAAM there are another 6-10hrs of studying. Sometimes I don't even mind not playing. I just want to know things about the game and everytime I learn something new it makes me so happy...When I fire the session and I do these things in practice and it works it is just such a good feeling. just flop raising your 93o with backdoor trip draw but you just know that they should not bet that frequency on that board + their bet/3bet freequency is too low + they don't do enough bluffcalling..I don't seem to care a lot about money (not winning for a long period of time ) because I have what I want already but I don't know if that approach is right for my longterm life given how longer will poker be available but happiness-wise I am so happy right now and I am not sure if I will be willing to sacrifice that for certain amount of money (=grinding way more and analysing/studying way less). But at some point maybe priorities change, you never know what life has prepared for ya.

Tomorrow I am going to finally grind and beforehand I will hopefully prepare reshove ranges vs CO as a sort of warmup so I will have less work on my hands for upcoming days and can focus on other stuff (not sure what yet lol but there is so many things it's actually crazy. The more I know about poker the dumber I feel sometimes..there is just so much to learn)

Quote of the day: "You don't know what you're capable of until you take on more than you can handle. Everything before then is mere speculation. If you want to know what you're made of, try to break yourself."

Re: Sacrificing it all for the love of the game

Saturday

new Stars currency change is pretty bad for my situation from future perspective. Will have to come up with efficient way to not get screwed on currency exchange in future (if necessary)

Wanted to play today. Decided few moments before firing not to. Recreating reshove gameplan seemed like more fun + there was a scent of roasted pork all over the house and I knew I was gonna eat all of it with sweet red cabbage so I just accepted my fate and decided to at least commit to studying. Managed to do everything from 8-20bbs for all positions (i am few days ahead as planned which is very good). The plan is to do 22-24bb for certain positions and then up to XXbbs for late positions. After I get it done I will try to get a feedback on it by a coach. probably will have to pay for 1on1 but that's completely worth it given how essential topic it is + i could pair it with identifying equity realisation shifts etc

that's about it for today lol. I basically just grinded HRC whole day with casual DotA Summit spectating and railing fellow badger in €5.3kmain

looking forward to playing tomorrow. Recognised a few spots where I am not greedy/exploitative enough and it just feels so good to make mistakes, identify them in a few days and hopefully erase them in another few days.

The feedback is so fast that it creates a certain amount of momentum that even if I really wanted to slack I would do like 4hrs of poker a day...There is basically no way how can I not outwork almost everybody, when feeling "ready to play more" apply things learned and crush souls. I thought 2016 was going to be "my year" in cash. I have sacrificed this year (and a lot of money) to make 2018 "my year" and I think I am slowly acquiring everything I need to make that happen. Can't wait for next year I think it's gonna be HUGE.

Re: Sacrificing it all for the love of the game

Sunday

Sunday was fun. I prepared all reshove ranges into readable and printable format but I don't have them ready for every stacksize yet. I have also come to conclussion that it is not very +EV for me to bother too much about certain hand groupings overcoming EV of reshoving by just calling. I have made 90% of the job, will run a sim-2 a day in crEV and it will solve itself after a few weeks

in regards to session it was fun. Had a lot of stacks, but then when it got to hour of power / hour of shower moment it was the second one. But it was a pleasant experience after all this grinding work i put out of tables. It is almost always fun to play. I was going to play today but I am probably just going to analyse because I know that with winter series I should get in the volume needed for this month. VISUALISATION BOYS

I have to go through 2 FT's today, will have to come up with next topic to study (which will be super easy since there is just soooooo many of them). Let's make the best porridge with strawberry jam for breakfast and crush today

This beat goes stronger than me on out of the table grind^^. Had to edit it, the head nod is real with this one

Re: Sacrificing it all for the love of the game

Monday

Today was pretty chill. Just did my thing, gone through marked hands, made some posts in the forum and proceeded to watch some coaching from library. Gonna continue doing the same while I prepare for winter series

decided to work on my persuasion and "communication" skills and there is no better time to do that with women than Christmas lol. I have caught up some patterns so we are progressing in this one very fast which is surprising, but also kind of not

had a nice stream with the boys (did not crack the cold one though^^) where my man Zolta shipped some casual $55 comp for a bunch of shietcoins while I was trolling guys for 3hrs straight. There were some ideas about guys doing a podcast and I had to instantly talk my shiet that I would like to come up sometimes..if that thing will happen once I will make sure to send a link into this blog because it will be nothing short of EPIC

I certainly felt that I have worked less today in comparison to last few days because I did not have a thought out plan for the day. I was too busy persuading women which took a lot of my attention and I have to do better tomorrow sooooo plan for tmrw is to go to gym, watch 2 of romeos (HE'S THE FOKIN GOAT) videos and see what else I can do poker-wise until series start.

Quote of the day: "Be used to hardship you so don't realize you are going through shiet"

I find my mind racing a lot when I play and majority of time I am unable to stop it. But for some reason when listening to there instrumentals the focus comes back, the voices are silenced..weird stuff

Re: Sacrificing it all for the love of the game

Tuesday

got group coaching with one good mid-high cg reg. refreshed knowledge from 100bb games and gotten to understand little better when to overbet

Got a workout in. Yday it was tough. Last part of workout was 10 rounds of 40s work/20s rest on rower. The goal was to find steady pace and keep it up for the whole time. I wanted to give up after 5th round. 6th round has been very painful, I wanted to give up even more. 7th round was the moment where I gathered all of my mental energy and crushed it. Felt like a champion for the rest of the day^^

since I did not plan to attend group coaching (because I did not pay attention to what type of group coaching we have had) I only watched 1 video from library. But that's fine.

Bought Internet of Money and Innovative Cryptoassets to get a small grasp on crypto and see if it is worth my time to learn more about it. So far I don't follow it much but I see that $BCH appears like unethical shady clone that acts like $BTC but is not and I have some $BCH from the split and I don't know for how long can this BS keep them afloat so will try to get rid of it ASAP since that price may not be sustainable, although there is one thing to take into consideration..

In regards to today I will play. Yesterday I have had moments when I did not know what to do because I have done most of my things I was supposed to do. So I read one book about how the money is created, how do they manage to create money from that and how that makes the world go around. That has immediately motivated me to buy these books. So actually it felt great to not have every moment of a day planned.

In regards to winter series I will actually have to adjust my schedule. Winamax starts 7th and I rather play all the Winamax than this Stars BS so I will definetely not play everyday but I will try to keep playing my schedule + 1 day on tops or sth like that. Just get warmed up, don't get rusty before real series happen.

Will get some porridge with a ton of marmelade to make my start into day very positive and then I will fire some tables and enjoy the rest of the day.

Re: Sacrificing it all for the love of the game

Wednesday

fired a session. Enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun. Although I was busting left/right and probably registered maximum amount of Markovitsus' possible and did not miss more than 1 or 2 mtts from daily schedule To give you an idea when 8pm hit I have had 1 table (and I started at 4:30pm) before regging everything that started at 8. But I did not give up. I continued regging, trying to find a joy in playing rather than a misery for not winning as much as I should. At some point I was considering late-regging big$2.20 because it is always fun but I had like 6-7 tables and a bunch of runs so I have decided to not to

Managed to make FT of BB109. Came as a 9/9 shortie, managed to win a bunch of all-ins, was a top2 stack for a decent time in last5. I think I was starting to get a control over FT but then I lost majority of small pots which has kicked me into last place. Then I won 10bb AI vs fish A9>KJ or sth. The biggest pot was BUvBB where BB has overplayed his pair+FD and rivered me for a very healthy pot. I think if I would win that I would have a very big chance to get into HU. Overall it was a good experience. Did not have many moments where I thought "Wow I don't know what to do" and rather knew exactly how to approach certain thinking processes in situations and come up with cool lines. The more I play the more I accept that me learning and not doing mistakes means more to me than winning. Don't get me wrong. I want to win more than everybody else. But if I do everything possible to win and I do not win I just can't give less fukcs. I think I played really really good there and done a bunch of cool things that not many people think about.

In regards to updating blog I have found a tendency. I have to update the blog the night I go to sleep so I wake up with a plan OR I have tu update it the moment I wake up. Otherwise I will not maximise my potential of the day.

So plans for today are simple. Go to the gym, analyse yesterday, analyse previous FTs and watch a video from library. If there will be some time and energy on my hands I will resume reading Internet of Money. So far BCH (100%) and LTC seem like coins I will not invest in but will make sure to analyse situation better. It's not easy to avoid pump&dump coins (LTC??) if you don't have enough insight into whatsup

Quote of the day: "Work so hard that the people you idolize become your competition."

that quote's a nice vibe to it because I have almost managed to do that in cash. I don't idolize many people in mtts but I think I can make it up there too. It just needs time and it seems with these positive news coming up in online/live poker there will be more than enough time for me to do so

I love the way Blaq Poet jumps on a track. The beat is very mediocre from Alchemist but I actually like it. Makes the artist highlight and shine

Re: Sacrificing it all for the love of the game

Thursday

Got through BB109 with a bunch of badgers chipping here and there. Feedback was great. Gaining confidence going into series is always great.

Gone through another FT, done some marked hands but felt like reading Internet of money. So I just read for like 3 hours. I don't know why but it was just so much fun. Will definetely continue tomorrow

managed to get a pizza for breakfast and crushed gym session today. Did not watch a video from library but it does not matter. Did more than enough overall

Plans for tomorrow: Apotheosis group coaching, gym, review the rest of marked hands, read everytime i feel like i want to read, more work in reshoves for 20-30bb region

Quote of the day: "Push a little harder towards your goals. They are waiting"

love the vibe of this song. It just makes me happy. Not sure if it's the scratching, the instrumental or EV + ALC...Does it even matter?

Re: Sacrificing it all for the love of the game

Friday

crushed gym. Group coaching topic has changed and I have broke my rule of not attending a hand history review group coaching. Not gonna happen again

Did not do marked hands nor reshove stuff. Instead I read Internet of money and read the whole book. Can't wait to dive into the next one

I have to come up with better morning routines. social media + chicks is not GTO. Will try to start the day off with meditation -> breakfast -> chicks+social media while I am eating. Gotta be smart with those things. I think creating a rule where checking social media can be only done when eating or in the bathroom is a good idea. It will not consume as much free time and I will be more focused towards everything I want to achieve in a certain day. That actually seems pretty reasonable

Tmrw will fire a full session. For warmup I can do the marked hands and do some more previews of reshoving. Later I can move into r/cing although I have to say that it is very boring so I will make sure to fit in 1 or 2 topics between these two because otherwise I am not going to get the work done. Topics will probably be OOP postflop strategies vs tight ranges (which should be quite easy because strategies are way simpler for these positions and ranges in comparison to BUvBB)

Quote of the day: "Since most people hate their job they rarely feel the pleasure that comes from a good days work done"

this one is reminding me of a friend. hope he is doing well^^

Re: Sacrificing it all for the love of the game

Saturday

Today was a very good day. Before I have fallen asleep I have seen a meme of Mr. Robot on 9gag and had to look up the next day if the new season was already up. It was not only up but all 10 episodes were already up so I gave up todays' grind and watched all day long basically. I think it is lesser evil since I don't want to be watching any series on series so I actually think it was +EV from retrospect

After watching this thing for straight 10 hours I have jumped onto reddit forums and read up to 1 week old theories about season 3 for another 90 mins at least lol. It was a lot of fun. Luckily I know when to tell stop and I will not be digging into any other series because that would just not be very rational

tomorrow is going to be even better day. I will get to play with my cousin, eat a lot of good food and probably fire some mtts at night because why the *** not. Time for performing is coming soon and I am more than ready for this^^

I’ve been lurking for a bit and recently read this thread start to finish in the past few days. I have to say it’s one of the best PG&C threads I’ve had the pleasure of reading. I’ll be taking a shot at full time pro play soon and your path is an inspiration, thanks for contributing!

thanks man. Good luck on your journey

Sunday

Ate many many schnitzels with potato salad. Topped with at least 3 "big" desserts and 3 "small" ones. Mission accomplished.

Somehow after eating such a heavy and focus destroying food I was able to read about 150 pages of Cryptoassets book. Something like 200 are still left but slowly and surely I am getting grasp on things from the investment, portfolio, how does everything work point of view. Feels good to learn new skills it's actually a lot of fun. There were some overlaps with mtts (standard deviation aka variance AND sharpe ratio) which was fun too because mtts are also "investments" if you think about it. you have certain ROI, there are certain criteria that affect your investment etc

Planned to play today but gtd were small so I said *** it. In regards to winter series I think I will be playing a ton. Lately I have been doing a lot of work out of tables. Now it is time to get my hands dirty, come up with more areas that I suck in so I have more than enough material to work on at the end of January. Seems like a plan to me

The experiment with mediation in the morning did not work because right after I woke up I could not do it because I was afraid of falling asleep. But to commit myself I am buying yearly 40% discount membership in Headspace as I speak (to keep myself accountable)

Re: Sacrificing it all for the love of the game

Monday

Played full session. GTDs were set pretty low and I was contemplating playing less of Winter series but majority of them were crushed heavily. Will continue with 5day/week grind schedule for winter series so I don't wear myself out totally before real series come

In regards to session it was not fun. Did not have a lot of stacks, focus levels were low. For some reason I could not get good focus. It could not be for nutrition or sleep because I slept well and ate even better. But after ending a session I have got dinner and fallen asleep for 4 hours straight (wtf) so I must have been tired from something..hopefully Wednesday will be better

started meditating again, headspace yearly subscription has been bought. for my problems i will meditate at least twice a day. once after breakfast, once when going to sleep and if I play that day I will meditate also. I have to calm myself down and I think if I will be disciplined I could "tame my brain"

plan for today is to go through hands from yday, get a workout in, go to welness and if there will be some time left either resume reading a book AND run some more sims before I can move into running them in crEV

Re: Sacrificing it all for the love of the game

Tuesday

only managed to get to gym and meditate yday. It was nameday of "Stefan" which is widely celebrated across our country (dunno why, though) so we decided to postpone welness and rather crack some cold ones with the boys^^

At some point I just got a confirmation why I don't like going out with people. It's just same shiet everytime and it just gets boring after a certain time. Usually it is not a place for deep conversations (unless you ate some shrooms) and majority of conversations seem to be shallow. That does not seem very intersting to me

luckily for me my daily schedule is me waking up around 1-2pm which has not messed up with my energy levels so far. Will start grinding in about an hour so there will be time to get a long meditation in so I should be quite ready to conquer the tables

Will have to cut gym from 3x/week to 2x/week throughout this small series and maybe cut it out completely on series starting from 7th of january. How do you guys keep your gym schedule when series hit? Do you do some short high intensity workouts or actually switch to some heavy lifting so your energy levels stay as high as possible after leaving gym?

plan for today is simple. Play, have fun and be focused. I will try to do some quick meditation exercises in between the session (every 2-3 hours) and see how it will turn out.

Quote of the day: "I don't know if I'm "succesful". The thing I had to give up was any definition of the word "success""

after digging through 40/84 Alchemist instrumentals in one of the youtube playlists I have finally found this gem. Actually this instrumental has been sampled by one of the more famous slovak rap group called H16 and they did no mercy on that beat too. It always makes me happy when I run to original sample of one of my favorite songs by accident.

Re: Sacrificing it all for the love of the game

Wednesday

Play full session. In comparison to yesterday it was in terms of focus completely different day. Got in 10minute meditation before firing a session and it would be sick if that would be the reason behind my way higher focus and concentration. I did not feel urge to do anything outside of poker. I just did my thing and I did it well

Did not have many runs. At one point I had like 7 tables with a bunch of ITM and semi-runs in BB109 and other stuff but in an hour I was 1-tabling. But had a lot of fun playing and enjoyed it much more than yday so it did not really matter to me.

I was considering giving up tomorrow and playing Friday but from "series" perspective there is much more stuff to be played tomorrow in comparison to friday (1k psko and 530 on stars tmrw; nothing on friday) but I don't have 1k in my schedule so I will try to see what I can do and maybe if I will get enough swaps and convince bosses I will fire that one too.

In regards to this day overall it was a happy day. At one moment I have missed turn overbet vs missed flop bet because mom was telling me how hard her day was and how she did not cook today and how she probably should and I felt like I had to say something to make her feel better so I did. It was totally worth missing that overbet spot and it has made my day

hopefully will sort out tomorrow schedule asap so I can prepare. Outside of that I will read a few pages from "crypto" book and get a good meditation in before sleep after twitter grind.

last instrumental at 3:45 is total craziness. That's type of beat that gives you goosebumps

Re: Sacrificing it all for the love of the game

Thursday

Played a decent session. Managed to play both $530 and $1k. I think I played well in both. In the end managed to mincash $1k with like $875 of bounties so we got a mincash BOYS. Probably my first cash of all the 1k's so hopefully there will be a lot more to come. Also $530 has overlayed so can't be sad about not cashing

Had a bunch of runs today. Had a decent b109 run but did not convert. Managed to convert BB44 and top50 into top3 but I may have made some questionable plays here and there which I will look deeper into tomorrow and will make sure (if mistakes have happened) that it won't happen again^^

I'm happy that I did not take a today off and played tomorrow because tomorrow would really suck. Today was a way better schedule and everything so I am overall very happy with my scheduling. I think few months ago my younger-self would just be lazy and not play today and fire tomorrow (play worse day).

In regards to tomorrow it will be simple. Gym, welness, review of my 2 FTs and if there will be some time left read a book and go through as many marked hands as possible + rail guys in 1k thrill d2 we got some sweats!

I have been underestimating a lot of badgers in our stable. They are actually waaaay better and I am not as better in comparison to them as I thought. Will have to work some extra hours to get ahead

Re: Sacrificing it all for the love of the game

Friday

Crushed gym. Did not manage to do welness because hotel had some private party and we were not invited

Did not go through FTs because I did not manage to find at least 2 badgers to go through it. Hopefully next week in Tuesday/Friday^^ but at least I have gone through marked hands

Railed Michael whole night. It was such a long FT. For ~2hrs nobody has busted But Michael did a great job and managed to get a solid 3rd place and I got very nice christmas present from him

read more pages from the book. Feel more comfortable about my knowledge in crypto but there may be a chance it will be useless lol. but it is to much fun learning new areas of life so I don't really care that much if I will (not) be able to use the knowledge in practise. If I would have a chance I probably make some investments early february. By that time researches etc should be ready to go

Considering not playing very high stakes in the future given Sharpe ratio. For playing high stakes one has to have a certain amount of money (not a small amount) sitting in bank account just in case I bust my accounts so I can deposit but it feels so useless just to have such a pile of money sitting when you can make a bunch of good investments with it that will make you a ton more money than just "sitting and allowing you to play higher stakes" so I will have to think about this for upcoming months

Saturday is a grind, not many hs series mtts for me. Will not do anything on NYE and come back at 1st january more ready than everybody to crush because that's what I do and since one moment where a friend of mine thrown a casual MDMA to my drink because I did not appear to be on the same wave I kind of don't seem to be looking forward to NYE as I maybe used to 5 years ago lol

Saturday

first time after long time did not check phone after waking up. I was on the mission. Although I don't have to tell you that my mind was acting crazy when I decided to make breakfast and not to check all social media and message to chicks for first 30 minutes.

managed to play a decent session. Focus has been lower in comparison to Wed/Thur sessions. Managed to make FT of big44 as 9/9. Have been grinding short stack for the whole time, won 2 flips, was a chip leader, lost a bunch of pots, got bigger CL, grinder the last 3 like a pimp, got into HU where I made the worst calldown in my poker career which cost me the 1st place. I did not get beat by my opponent, I beat myself But that's ok because I exactly know why has that happened and I will try to make sure to fix that shiet so we don't burn any more money..still a decent ending of a month

Tmrw I will just chill. go through hands, eat a lot of junk home food, read a book and enjoy the presence of people i care about

I am not going to make any recapitulation of 2017 and plans for 2018 here. I think I know where my leaks are. I know what needs to be done. Don't need a new year to start working on it. May actually do some work tomorrow

Re: Sacrificing it all for the love of the game

Sunday

Did not do much. Read a book. Ate a lot of food. Grandma did my favorite desserts. Ate so much flour yday that I got knocked out twice lol

Did not do hands up to around ~3:30am. I could not sleep I was just in the bed thinking about things. I have said *** it and let's work on some hands. So I did up to like 5:30 and I could have finally fallen asleep after some work done

Spent my morning hours today with nephew and family. Could not ask for a better start to the day

Gonna prepare for today's grind in a few moments. Meditation, have around 10 more hands that I have to go through, prepare schedule and fire!

Re: Sacrificing it all for the love of the game

Monday

Got a session in today. It was sick. The amount of stacks I had everywhere at some point was crazy. Did not manage to convert though but got a bunch of nice cashes in higher buy-ins which is nice. Manage to make last 9 in $55 mini HR on Party and last 18 in small 215 title fight but Party had other plans The rest of session was fine too. I played well in 215 6max on Stars and got rewarded by mincashing (). The amount of pfai's i am able to win for the past week feels somewhat higher in comparison to past and I know this can't go forever but it feels good to have stacks so let's make the best of it while it's there

Tomorrow I take a day-off because Tuesdays are usually pretty bad from my standpoint. I don't get to play ST nor 2k version of ST so I will take a day off, go to the gym, welness, go through a bunch of hands and make sure I am ready to conquer.

Lately I am doing a lot of non-technical work. Just going through hands, making notes, not doing pio sims and what not. I think I could benefit a lot from it but my postflop abilities should be more than enough for stakes I play and there are bigger leaks that I have to focus on. Although digging in Pio is so much fun. it's like an encyclopedia of poker. But now, in times where I need my B-game to be stellar it is not a good time to do Pio. After series where there will be a lot of room for recreating strategies I will dive into it and I already can't wait

Quote of the day: "Your worst enemy is not the one who overtly attacks and sabotages you. It's the one who makes excuses for your weakness and shortcomings, convincing you that you don't need to improve"

S P is on another level. I don't know how could I sleep so much on this guy^^

Re: Sacrificing it all for the love of the game

Tuesday

crushed gym; no welness since a friend of mine cancelled few hours before but w/e..

Managed to go through 2/3 of yday's hands. still 12 hands to go through tomorrow before session starts.

Lately I am in a good rhythm. I do work a lot, I go through a lot of hands, I do meditate everyday I play. Let's keep it going

Tomorrow I will play. There will be $530 so hopefully I will make a few swaps before it starts. There's basically no reason to not swap some action in these 500+ BI's unless you have huuuge bankroll^^

Learnt a bunch about crypto today. Learnt the flaws of bitcoin and benefits of Monero. Will do more research on another "day off" and make sure to continue educating myself in this topic so I can later make a few educated guesses when ready. Although it feels like there is sooo many pump+dumps and centralised coins that my "work" will not pay off but it's a fun process so I don't mind that much tbh

Quote of the day: "I don't make goals. I make to-do list."

another gem by one and only S P. I love his delivery and his scheme of rhyming
