About me:
I live and work across Asia and travel extensively for work. I have always had 'some' talent with poker playing mostly PLO but never had discipline which was a big part of why I failed. It has been years since I have taken poker up again and as a test to myself whilst I want to build a bankroll and move up by developing better skills my actual drive is to learn how to be consistent in life, to be a better planner and goal setter and have integrity in myself (Do what I say I will do).

I deposited $500 for a bankroll on Partypoker and plan to play with proper bankroll management online. Also I have no idea where I am at as I haven't stepped into the arena for years so this should help. I plan to play a mix of $2-5 MTT's (PLO / NLH) min 100 buy-ins and some PLO25. I don't really have a financial motive so I feel that is a positive but will only move up when/if bank roll permits.

I will play about 2 nights per week. Has anyone been in a similar situation where you learnt bankroll management and to better your skills? What worked for you?
Is it worth tracking my progress using programs / software or should i just check those poker website that track your tournament results? Is it worth it at this amount of time spent playing?
