Hello My Name Is RYAN
I currently have begun winning at Micro Stakes Poker(NL2 and small stakes tournaments) by Having a Strategy, Controlling my tilt and understanding re-raises on flop, turn and river are usually the nuts.
Anyway to the point. I gotta make $10k.
Why Ryan ? Why do you have to make $10k?
Well, At the moment I have some medical bills and they are around this mark.
So dealing with this would be SUUUUUUUUUUUPER awesome.
Sooooooooo I would love everyone's help with hand histories, BR management and books I can learn and improve with
Oh also.... I've been playing NL2 the past week so I actually have 70$ now
Anyway that's enough for now, here is my graph and hand histories

Okay. Extremely Bad NL2 session today. I played a thousand hands and for the first 200, I was always up against a better hand when I had a premium. E.g. QQ vs AA I folded Pre. AQ vs AK, lost money.
And I was down about -$2 to -$3 dollars at this point, and then I tilted a little and ended up calling a flush with two pair, and I did that twice .... anyway after around 300 hands I was down nearly $6.
so after this I took a break, re-evaluated and got back on it.... no more tilt.
(I ended up watching youtube at the same time as playing.. that helps me)
So...... anyway 500 hands later I ended the day on +$4 to +$5. Which is kind of super irritating because I knew if I just rolled with the punches I could have had +$10...
Anyway... Current Bank roll is now: $77.00
I'll post two of my hands below
see you tomorrow
Results: $3.90 pot ($0.24 rake)
Final Board: 2 8 Q 4 6
CO mucked and lost (-$0.42 net)
Hero showed 2 4 :: :: and lost (-$1.72 net)
MP2 showed 6 9 :: :: and won $3.66 ($1.94 net)
Okay, good session today.
I didn't make much money, but I played well so that's fine.
There was a Whale on the table playing 94% of hands, so I played most if not all of my hands, but every time I raised he out drew me, When I put him all in he again got it in with the better hand.
I think I was breakeven with him by the end and he left the table with $2 more than he came with, so good for him
Anyway Bank Roll is now $84
Here are a few hands against the Whale for you to check out
Preflop: Hero is BTN with 6 6 :: ::
UTG+2 raises to $0.06, MP1 folds, MP2 calls $0.06, MP3 calls $0.06, CO folds, Hero calls $0.06, 2 folds
Flop: ($0.27) Q J 6 (4 players)
UTG+2 bets $0.24, MP2 folds, MP3 calls $0.24, Hero raises to $2.42 and is all-in, UTG+2 folds, MP3 calls $2.18
Turn: ($5.35) 8 (2 players, 1 is all-in) River: ($5.35) Q (2 players, 1 is all-in)
Spoiler:
Results: $5.35 pot ($0.33 rake)
Final Board: Q J 6 8 Q
UTG+2 mucked and lost (-$0.30 net)
MP2 mucked and lost (-$0.06 net)
MP3 showed K 4 :: :: and lost (-$2.48 net)
Hero showed 6 6 :: :: and won $5.02 ($2.54 net)
In limped pots, I would really try to keep pots small with mediocre hands like two pair, because your opponents can have pretty much everything! Don't go broke in a limped pot!
In NL2, raises on turn and river usually means a very strong hand, best to just fold with mediocre hands.
And yes I think you are definitely correct here, I think the reason I did that is because I knew the Whale was calling next to anything. So I wanted to raise a lot knowing he's calling all draws.
But I think you are right I played a bit too aggressively
Okay, Super Bad today. I finished the session with -$6.00 ...
First 500 hands I go down to -$7 ...600 hands later I'm at -$1.00.
Up and down, up and down... Not feeling so good at the moment.
I played 2k hands today and ended -$6.00.
I ran extremely bad today, I had Kings around 4-5 times. They never won though. Continuation bets fell flat nearly every time.
And I ended Frustrated and I threw some pots away at the end.
Only positive, someone sent me a copy of The Grinders Manual, Thanks dude.
Anyway
Here are some hands for you to look at and hopefully tell me I messed up.

Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood Mythical Morning Poker Pro's
....
Anyway.
Okay, so I was down yesterday, after going on a horrific run of cards and a little bit of tilt.
Anyways, Played today and a little last night, I've made some mistakes, I got it in goo-d sometimes, I didn't know what to do in some spots.
All in All my stacks back up again, and I'm on around $86.00.
So that's good.
Now I'm starting to wonder, when I should move to NL5.
Should I do it when I reach $100.00 or $150.00?
Also at NL2 is 6 max a more profitable game? I'm reading "The Grinders Manual" at the moment, I haven't learnt enough to start playing 6-MAX yet, however I will be giving it a go.
Anyways, Here are a few of my hands I played bad, well and was unsure of.
River: ($0.95) K (3 players)
MP2 bets $0.61 and is all-in, Hero calls $0.61, CO folds
Spoiler:
Results: $2.17 pot ($0.13 rake)
Final Board: 7 J 4 6 K

Results: $1.41 pot ($0.08 rake)
Final Board: 5 8 9 Q J
BB showed 5 9 :: :: and won $1.33 ($0.94 net)
UTG+2 showed 4 8 :: :: and lost (-$0.39 net)
MP1 mucked and lost (-$0.10 net)
Hero showed 9 4 :: :: and lost (-$0.39 net)
mucked and lost (-$0.11 net)
I started to read parts of "The Mental Game of Poker", because I started to feel entitled in pots and wanted to win most if not all, pots against fish and bad regs, because I thought that if I am better than them or if they out flopped me, that they don't deserve to win. Understanding this, I've become a lot more passive in some situations and made some good lay downs.
Also
I've been kicked in the balls, a lot today and yesterday. Getting two pairs a lot but then being beaten by sets on the river or a better two pair.
Also Variance has been kicking me in the balls, with my flush all in on the turn being beaten by a set turned full house on the river.
All in All, I'm up around $3 which is fine because I've had such a bad run.
Anyways Here is a few hands you can take a look at and tell me how I did
Turn: ($1.24) A (3 players)
CO bets $0.83, Hero raises to $1.63 and is all-in, MP3 folds, CO calls $0.80
River: ($4.50) 4 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
Spoiler:
Results: $4.50 pot ($0.28 rake)
Final Board: 5 4 7 A 4
MP3 mucked and lost (-$0.37 net)
CO showed 5 5 :: :: and won $4.22 ($2.22 net)
Hero showed Q J :: :: and lost (-$2 net)
Looking at those hand histories though, you're sizing your preflop raises too small. Try going 4x OOP and 3.5x IP. So if the last raise size was 8c and you're in the BB with AKo then 3betting to 32c would be better.
Thanks, I hope to move up to NL5 by Monday.
My pre-flop raises are usually 4x OOP and 3x IP.
However I usually make my 3-Bets 3x the initial raise, because I have found if I make it any higher people don't usually call unless they have premium holdings, to which they then shove or 4-Bet.
Current Stack Size: $86.02
Hey Late post today. I've been working all day, so I haven't had chance to play much. I only played 200 hands today.
However what I have been noticing is that my C-bets are horrific and I think I am definitely losing money when it comes to C-bets, so I am going to start to focus on my C-Betting soon and how to improve it.
Any tips would be helpful.
I'm still getting kicked in the balls when it comes to variance, but not so much today.https://ibb.co/fWBd1n (not a big enough sample size I suppose)
Anyway I have one hand for you to look at I'm unsure if I made a mistake.
Any help would be appreciated. Good night
(Villain is 40/0 vpip/pfr and has a 33% flop betting frequency but I;ve only got 22 hands on him )
I had work today, so not many hands played I was getting tired and I didn't want to play bad
Anyways I made a profit of around $4 today. I made a pretty bad call at the start of my session as you will see below, and then I made some nut flushes against the same calling station and took his stack, twice.
So good and bad, again Variance is more flicking me in the balls today. My all in EV is $4.75 for today and Net Won $3.53 https://ibb.co/nceyK7
I was Hoping that I would have moved up to NL5 by now but I want to wait until I am at $100 at least.
