About me :
Im a 20 y/o . I was born in Murmansk, Russia .
Now living in Moscow,working and playing poker online and sometimes offline .



About poker:

I started playing long time ago, but only took it somewhat seriously in Febr 2016. I was playing nl2- nl10 with 40BB stack (SSS strategy) , but went to nl20 with not enough bankroll . Got a tilt , felt depressed and irritated .

Now im again in NL2 , Playing 9max on PS and 888, (BSS strategy)

Last 2 months



Plans/Goals:
win 80$ in June , play 60k hands . Then go to nl5
(3 months or less for limit)
in Dec 2017 play nl10 (maybe 10bb\100)
in Jan 2018 go to nl16

I would highly recommend that you move to 6max - 9max is a dying game, and getting 6max experience is essential when moving up

I also highly recommend playing full stack. Cashgame is about big stacks.. Playing capped is a great way for learning to be a good tournament player. But in cash games, it's a lost in long run specially with rake...

Also 2 tips:
a) as much as it is good to improve by practicing at lower limits and grind your way up, I'd say that the difference in play up to 25nl is not that big and your time would be best used by gettin a roll for 25nl outside of poker (you already have a work which should make it easier to set aside)
And in case you bust it (which you should not if you move down to 10nl) you can always refill and still gain eV time wise compared tu just grinding it up from 2nl;
b) being a girl and etc, try hard in getting free hours of coaching (should be piece of cake too) and don't feel ashamed of it, it will pay hugely in terms of future gains

Also bonus tip: lower table count.
Since you're still at 2-10nl you're not gaining much $wise by playing more tables but you're giving up on the learning experience that it could provide (train yourself at recognizing patterns, population tendencies and so on)

yeah you're in a pretty crazy position to get good at poker, play your cards right, if you want to, and go for it hard. gl

yep

I guess what fenryr is trying to say is playing mass tables is not bad, but you should start by limited number of tables to get your defaults, learn to watch tendencies and study oponnents which will be virtually impossible 10+ tabling!
I also agree that grinding from lowest is good for learning, but not so good money wise.
But I don't agree that 2NL and 25NL are the same... 10NL and Up is really tough(er) these days.
Buy I suggest you go for 5NL and you will see not a lot of difference..

Yeah I meant that: gather money outside of poker and start higher than 2-5nl, if you don't feel confident in starting from 25nl (you already played a bunch of hands of 2nl/5nl, you use a hud, know 2+2 so from that I can already assume that you have at least some forms of fundamentals ).

Also don't play more tables, that approach was good 6-7 years ago, now it's a recipe for disaster.

Bottom line is I believe that in poker there should be 3 goals:
To make money.
To waste as little time as possible.
To become better.
