It's clear as day he has top pair but don't expect him to start 5x potting river randomly in this spot. You having blockers to AQ doesn't actually account for anything when he's bet/calling turn with any queen.

Also you mention having two aces and yet you decide to overbet shove the river heavily blocking his best bluff catchers. So there appears to be some inconsistency here.

Don't let weak players off the hook so easily when they'll snapcall a more modest river bet.

I still wasn't too worried tbh because he hadn't cuffed me and I know that weed is decriminalized (and the mexican supreme court struck down the law against personal use so it's basically legal - the legislature just has to draft the new laws) so it's just a small fine to pay at the station - but I was pissed because I had a flight to catch. once he has me in the cruiser he goes from being a hardass who would never take a bribe to being "sympathetic". he says he doesn't want me to have to go all the way to the station (yeah right - you don't want to go to the station fatass) - so I'm like "well maybe you could pay the fine for me, if I lend you the money." he pretends like he's thinking about it, like this is some tough decision for him, then he says ok it's possible to do that. ****ing pigs

I used to go camping down in Mexico a lot in Michoacan, near Manzanillo. I have paid off the feds 3 times. The worst was when we burned a piece of beach wood and a restaurant owner had them come and take $50 from a group of us campers, otherwise they would take one of us to jail.

Another time a truck with the usual 7 guys in the truck bed pulled up and someone was rolling a joint. They found a bag with maybe 1 oz. We negotiated from 1000 pesos down to 500, which was about $45 at the time 14 years ago. Anyway after we paid it, the guys were like you can just keep the weed, they had more in their truck that they just gave to us too. But it was like a half oz so not really a great deal for $45. Then they all at a shrimp meal at the palapa restaurant we were all camping in front of. Camarones El Diablo is the best if done well.

The last time in Puerto Escondido we were taken in for drinking in public (apparently a real thing down there to protect the bar tourist money I guess) and held me and a friend while they took my brother to the ATM for 1000 pesos. I was really drunk and tried to grab the cops gun, as well as stealing a bag of chips one was eating. I dont remember any of it but they were just happy to get their money and nothing bad happened.
