Hello guys.

I guess it might be tl;dr for some, so I decided to make the first chapter with bullet points of what I want to achieve.

1. Grind my way out of micro sngs to mtts full time
2. Save $10k for 6 months life bankroll
3. Move to Malta to continue grinding pokers
4. Be a solid mtt reg
5. Play live events all over the world

Ok, so, for those who don't mind reading I would like to introduce myself first. My name is Grzegorz (Gregory) and I've been playing this beautiful game for 6 years now. On and off. I come from Poland, where I currently reside. After high school (or college; what ever you call a school before university) I decided to start uni in the United Kingdom, leaving family and friends behind and going for a yourney. I spent 4 years abroad learning about live and getting my degree in international business management at University of Wolverhampton. After 3 year programme, I stayed for 1 more year doing some ****ty bar work and earning minumum wage. During that time I saw some of my friends having a success and good life from online poker, so I decided to try. Went online, read some forums, blogs etc and picked up some old school books. Played some online, played live in a casino and developed my passion to this game. After 4 years in the UK, I decided to come back to Poland and grind online here, full time.

That's when my lack of vision and lack of motivation comes into place. As I was making money in usd, and Poland has its own currency with the rate of 1:4, I was making a lot of money (that what I thought at the time). So I was living yolo life, not growing my bankroll and I was stuck for at least 2 years. If I could go back in time, I would never quit my job and started playing microstakes sngs for a living. We learn from our mistakes I guess. And I strongly believe that everytime we fail, we learn. I failed. I failed myself, broke up with my girlfriend, was forced to move back to parents etc. Days were passing by, friday after friday, drink after drink and party on top of another. What I won in a week, was spent on a weekend. Every monday I said to myself 'ok, from now on, you work hard, stop spewing money and build your bankroll'. Never happened. I have opened a small company, selling stuff on the internet. I was making ok money out of it in the beginning, but lost money in the end and was forced to close it. Another bad decission.

Wake up call happened about a month ago, when I found out that the polish government wants to ban online gambling im my country. I don't want to go into so much details, as it's not something that will happen for sure, but the dark scenerio is that there will be no online poker in Poland from January 2017.

Now I'm stuck with $1200 that I owe to my friends and $400 in my bankroll. The goal of mine is to become a zombie. A real one. Working 8-10 hours a day, not going out, not spending if unnecessary. I am going to be a best man at my buddy's wedding in October, so would need to cash out some for this. But that's all. I want to grind my ass off and build my roll.

If poker become illegal in Poland, I would need to go abroad as I am pretty sure that if I find a drive and motivation to build my bankroll, then I want to pursue poker. I love this game so much. There is nothing else I enjoy doing as playing and studying strat. The dream destination is Malta. At least for now. So... let's go I guess. I need about $10k life bankroll to be safe for 6 months and at least $5k bankroll on stars. I will start from 45man, 180man, basically every sng I could find I have an edge in. Hope this thread will make me stronger. Slowly progressing and building. WML, peace and love guys.

Hey, gl with your goals.

You can look up and read some good stuff in my thread: How to find balance in your life when deep in mu

Becoming a zombie might be not the best idea. Find the cheap options to balance your life if you can. What's your B plan? Would you come back to UK?

Will have a look, for sure dude. Thanks. Plan B is still in the making, but Im considering coming back to the UK and looking for a job there or continue with my University path. Till December tho, I want to focus only on poker. yeah, I guess zombie mode is not GTO but I enjoy jogging and gym a lot, especially in the mornings. Helps me with my depression and anxiety (at least I think I was depressed for some time now).
