Long time ssnl grinder, switching sites to play with our asian friends on the apps, opening this thread to keep me motivated to grind.

The goal is to make it up to highstakes in 2019 and finish the year up 6 figures.

Just started playing on there this week, games are looking pretty good so far, here is the first couple of days :



I'll be posting graphs in bb's because the apps/clubs each use their own currencies but holdem manager counts everything as being usd.
Average stake is around $100 atm.

HEM misscounts "big blinds" though as all of these games are usually straddle games, so you have to cut all winnings/winrates etc in half.

I play on PPPoker, asian clubs only for now.

Nearly no straddle in the games I have played so far.

Funnily enough it's called pokermasterhud.

Average stake is probably somehwere around $120 now.
The asian clubs run games in their own currencies so you have weird equivalents in usd like $75 $115 $125 etc.

Hi buddies, it was a long time since I had not updated my post. I was in Goa, India, to play poker but also for electro music festivals, something sick down there! Incredible music and a lot of Russian girls (and no, I do not take my phone festival, so no picture ). India we love or hate, that's what I heard all the time and I really liked it! I guess Goa is not at all representative of India but it was nice to be able to talk in English with anyone on the street, with people from a different culture. Food was amazing and I did not get sick once!

The city is divided into 3 parts, the middle of which are the casinos is like the old city of Macao, in a lot more busto, surely Macao in the years 70/80s. North, beaches with rave parties and the south, quieter and very pretty, I recommend to visit there.

Poker level, the level is very low, much lower than any live room that I could do in Asia but it does not play very high max 2/5 USD. The casinos are all on boats, so you have to take a shuttle from the shore to get there, nice but after a week it's starts to be annoying to do 20 minutes round trip to the casino.

Online, there are interesting clubs, I always play mainly on PPPoker, a little higher stakes between 2/4 and 3/6, the tables are really beautiful compared to .com rooms

I went on a motorcycle trip to Pai about 150km north of Chiang Mai. Pai is a small town in the mountains, the nature is beautiful but you see pretty much everything in less than 4h
Luckily the nightlife is decent, there are plenty of little bars, some offer mushroom based cocktails or joints to smoke along the river. Obviously I took some mushrooms, it was the first time, and I had a horrible experience!
The environment was too noisy with too much light, I thought I was stuck in a world where time did not advance and where the trees were inhabited by evil spirits ... in short I had better nights ...




Drove 45 minutes under 35 degrees celcius to find out waterfall ran out of water, great ride esp after mushroom night

Poker level, I have to start doing a little more volume but I have lots of projects outside the grind that take me a lot of my time.
I would like in the future to create my own club on PPP, so I'm interested in web development, marketing, etc., having no knowledge I find it super interesting and motivating.



Playing in different currencies, so that is only around +25k USD, and I would say 33/34k with RB

You found the games in Goa profitable? The rake is very high yes?

The rake was high but on a full ring tables there were usually 5 to 7 fishs per table ...

Nice results! I was in Chiang Mai last year for a few months. Nice place, definitely nicer than UK weather at the moment!

2 months have passed since the last update and a lot has happened. Where to start ...
I went to WPT Vietnam and busted day 1, didn't rebuy, I was mostly there for visiting Ho Chi Minh city, but a friend shipped the tournament, so it was amazing to rail the final table and celebrate all together the victory



HCM is a lovely city, a lot greener than I expected, however I have been very disappointed by Viet food, Thai food is, in my opinion, a lot better, more spices and different flavours.
Couldn't take picture of the alcohol with scorpios in but they do have turtles on the menu.

Praying did not help to even make ITM, does god listen to me sometimes?

I am now spending my time in Chiang Mai and Bangkok again. For 3 months Chiang Mai was the most polluted city in the world due to people burning crops, air was unbreathable and had to escape at the beach. I am now going to focus on poker a bit again. As you can see PPPoker is still treating me well, and I found even better clubs, I do run good but I always sit IP vs fish and table select well.

My volume is riduculously low, but I love the freedom of travelling too much. Next trip is probably Manilla, and then a horse ride trip in Mongolia for a month, on my own, probably around September.
