Hey all!

After playing poker for a few years, the most recent few of which I've been a winning player I've decided that it's time to set some real goals for my future and to stop ****ing around with my time.

I have finally gotten into doing some real study with solvers and population analysis which has helped me realise just how much more room I have to grow, but also it has given me hope, since I now have tools that I truly believe I can utilise to climb to the top.

I'm starting at 60 and 100nl texas hold'em, currently playing on PPPoker. I'll also be mixing some low-mid stakes MTT's on Ignition and occasional live tournament series.

My plan is to relentlessly play and study in every free moment of my days, to climb the stakes with moderate to aggressive BRM and to keep myself on track, and not be lazy.

To both stay accountable and to add some fun I'll be documenting this attempted journey; here on 2+2, on my Twitch as I livestream most online sessions &, on YouTube where I'll drop an update video once a week-month.

I cannot even see my end goal yet, but I have a feeling that I can climb higher, play better and, win more than I ever have before.

What limit do you play tell more about you?

Currently playing 60 and 100nl.
In the past I've beaten up to 200z on Ignition and 10/20 live (I've played higher but low sample size). Various spending issues have made my Broll a lot smaller than before

I'm Australian 21 year old Uni student, currently in 3rd year of Science and Psychology. Compulsive gambler, video game addict and endlessly optimistic.

Currently played another 3 days, winning 2/3 of those days. No really interesting spots to dissect yet, although regarding the video updates I'm not sure how many hand reviews I want to include for each day.

Currently I'm getting some population stats in my pokertracker, once I get a few days more I'm going to start looking at population statistics to see what spots stand out for exploits.

Winning all but the final day, which was lost due to dabbling in a random session of 5 card PLO, resulting in a daily net loss of....$5

I'm really struggling with fatigue, I used to be able to do absolute marathon sessions and now I'm collapsing after 1-2 hours, any advice?

How do you play 8 tables on PPPoker? Which emulator do you use?

Any of them should work, I use NoX, but it's super cpu intensive so you'll need a fairly decent pc to mass table

I used to use Nox, but it stopped working months ago. I get the message "The current environment is not safe. Please run PPPoker in a secure environment".

How did you make it work?

I actually had that a few months ago, but now it just suddenly works, maybe there was an update

What's been happening:

Played low volume this month, busy with uni and generally poor time management.

Having issues with postflop that I believe originate due to preflop issues. I've rebuilt my preflop ranges based on snowie+zenith & population tendencies. Not sure if they're better but I'm going to try them out for a month and see how it feels.

I've started a daily exercise routine as well as trying to correct my awful diet, I hope both of these things will help me with energy

I've put together a daily schedule, changing my grind time to be at night for half of it when games should be softer. Also including a dedicated amount of time per day of minimum 1 hour, max 4 hours, which is strictly for study.

I hope this will show some great results fairly quickly
