Hello everyone, my name is Daan. I'm 18 years old and i live in the Netherlands. I'm making this thread to share my story, progress, questionable hands and to improve my poker game.

My poker story in short:
I started playing NLHE Cash games at around 16 on some different sites under my brother's account. Never played a lot, maybe 20-30k hands in total. Made profit but nothing amazing. I quit at like 17 because i didn't feel like playing anymore and it wasn't fun to be playing under someone elses account.

Earlier this year in march i turned 18. I decided to make my own account on PokerStars and took a shot at MTT's since these seemed like a bunch of fun to me and i had never really played them. Turned a 100$ deposit into 900$ at some point. Lost about 1/3 of it and decided to cash out and stopped playing for a while.

And here we are! I've basically tried out everything so far except for PLO. A good friend kind of introduced me to this and had some success with it himself. I've always known how PLO worked but just never really played it a lot. Now my plan is to play, play and play untill i'm able to consistently beat the lower PLO Zoom stakes. I decided on Zoom since this means you basically play more hands/hour and my problem with cash games have always been my impatience to wait for good spots. I feel like this is a lot less of an issue playing Zoom, and definitely PLO Zoom.

So my main goal for now is to beat PLO10 Zoom consistently. I know PLO10 might be a bold move to start at but i've played NLHE for higher limits and feel like i wouldn't be able to focus when playing lower stakes. I also have the bankroll to be able to play this limit.

Played 10k hands so far and as kind of expected i'm not in the profits. I understand that this takes lots and lots more experience and practice. At first i had to get used to the insane swings and way of playing PLO. I feel like i already understand it a bit more and i'm definitely making progress and making a lot less mistakes. So far i'm having A LOT of fun playing PLO Zoom. Even though i'm losing.

I will be updating this thread with graphs, hands and other stuff that comes on my mind.

The bankroll management system i want apply will be RaSZI's aka Lex Veldhuis. I will only start implementing this system after i have played 100K hands at PLO10 since i know i'm definitely not ready to move up stakes yet. My current bankroll is around ~400$ which means i've got plenty of buyins to be playing PLO10.

Let's also just throw in my graph in from my first 10K hands. It's horrible so far so i hope it can only get better from now on. I hope i can look back at this later and see the progress i made.

I'm going to try and prove that it's possible with enough time and hard work to go from being a losing player to crushing the PLO Zoom tables.

I hope that besides me people find this thread useful and will support me in my progress to become a PLO Zoom Winner! ANY Tips or comments are ofcourse always welcome!

Let's jump right in with my first questionable hand. So i raise, button 3bets, the big stack just flats and i decide to squeeze thinking the shortstack will just call of the remainder of his stack. He does and the big stack also calls.
On the flop i think that my aces are good a lot of the times and i also have the nut flush draw. Thinking if he'd call he probably has a drawing hand which i obviously want to make him pay for. So i pot, he 3bets and i call.

Was this the right way of playing this hand or could i have done this way different? Every feedback is welcome!
