just gonna say to OP, when i made good money during the poker boom, i was pretty liberal with spending to. not mercedes benz and gucci liberal but never hesitated to spend on good food like you, nice clothes(not exceptional), simply liberal spending here and there. lets just say, id be a little more comfy right now as poker money is harder to come by, had i not been quite as liberal. plus i have a family now, house etc, blah blah blah.

if this stuff is in your plans i would certainly tighten up. u live in vegas, get a bike and ride to the casino . and packing lunches or at least something to snack on(healthy) to cut down one of those two meals each day would help tremendously.

Today I played 10hours of 2/5
managed to win $1615
Spent $25 on food
****ed up and celebrated, spent $100 at the strip club

65/300

My food budget would be killing me if I ignored it and didn't keep tabs on it. I recently went to the grocery store and got a bunch of food, now I just have to eat it. Cereal, eggs,or maybe oatmeal for breakfast, some kind of salad for dinner at the casino and maybe a sandwich or burger later on if I play for a long time. I think bringing a backpack with some almonds and stuff would be a good idea.

Didn't play any poker today

Hung out with a girl instead, she ended up costing about $170 because I bought her a present. I would say she was fun to hangout with but she smokes cigarettes and is needy. Time to muck

I need to start trusting my gut and ignoring everything else. I made two calls that I should've folded and made a nitty fold that my gut was telling me to call with.

If I can make two meals at home for ten dollars total, I will save a lot of money and maybe even eat healthier

Second Challenge : Profit forty thousand dollars

Are you playing poker in Vegas?? With my WYNN comps/player card, I never had to pay for a meal and actually still probably have a $50 balance on it.

After going over my month of February I added up about $500 in costs eating out, $300 on strippers, probably another $300 buying girls presents. I think my online shopping bill was just under $1800 for the month, truth I am too scared to check! Because I failed to stay away from titties in February, so no dope reward for self control. I was going to play a lot of hours in February until I got kinda sick and lazy. March is off to a great start already though and I even went grocery shopping to help manage food costs but to also be more healthy.

Everywhere I play the meals cost about $15-20 per person, which allows me one comped meal a day, more or less

This is hilarious I have never read about someone with an addiction to such brilliant things. I'm not from America and nor have I been but surely you must be able to eat somewhere that doesn't cost so much? I refuse to believe that how you much you are spending is normal.....?

If you're getting take out on a day to day basis, most meals range from $10-15 if you want to eat well. If you're eating "out" twice a day than $30-$50 would be the norm where I'm from.

What country do you hail from friend? Food and food that is sold near casinos is usually more expensive than other similar places nearby because there is more demand for food at the casino, and real estate is more expensive as well. I don't really know anyway to take food to the casino besides a lunchbox. The meals at the casino are $8 for an appetizer, $13 for a sandwich or salad and $18 for a low end pasta or meat dish. Throw a few dollars in for the tip and each meal is around $15 dollars. In many places you have to pay for alcohol, which is usually $7 a beverage
