It's going to be an investment for him and a few people he is including to pool $$ together with. I do not intend on investing in his enterprise because how he has set it up is especially illiquid and that flat out prevents me from ever wanting to put money into it. I am however excited to visit the country in general and will still put in hours working while I'm there.
Oh and an update from my goal of 200 hours in August: I managed just 125.5 hours. That's really not good. I did have quite a bit of travel and family time that ate away at the available time. Although I did go out a good deal and had one positive and one negative drug experience, neither of which will be the norm for how I spend my time. So all things considered, the amount of hours I got in is "okay" but not what I want to be consistently doing. For this month given I'll have a decent amount of travel, family time, and a week-long visitor at my next place, I'm going to shoot for 150 hours which is still high.
I feel great tho, life is smooth. Nothing major in my life is a problem and I ought to appreciate that.
