3month summer challenge

need 8 stacks to sit a stake and move up drop back down stakes if drop to 4stacks or around that and repeat.

not a longterm challenge thread gonna give myself the summer 3months till September to see how far i can level up at texas, after probably just play the madness thats omaha again cause 3months of just texas will drive me nutty.

playing regular tables only as its mainly what ive always played as it actually seems like poker, dynamics are weird in zoom though did play a little to win that $40 (about half did 2hr session early this morning) playing zoom dynamics seem tilt inducing so yh im not bothering with that, im just gonna try bumhunt bumhunt bumhunt regular tables (cause im a very bad texas poker player anyways).

might just gamble put separate $109 on site do the scoop tournament this evening try win the lottery lol

i may do an omaha challenge along the same lines too but bump up the stacks to 12-16 for each stake depends on the standard deviation per100 hands which guessing will be about 300 and something but probably 4stacks for each table seems more appropriate and i have played omaha too since this latest £20 deposit the past couple days won $20 at 2plo then sat 5plo with the 4stacks and just ran kinda bad vs nutjobs (wouldnt of done much differently just ran into setup vs one dude that was barmy and the other hands just were what they were think one stack or half stack could of not stacked but rest yh was whatever moments) so down $2 there. may ignite that as an Omaha 12-16stack challenge if i get bored of Texas

quick update i got wrecked right off the bat at 5nl ha and and i played zoom 5nl for some stupid reason so ran into few setups some bad hands not alot mean play 300 hands so i was playing what 12-15min if that ha, lost $25 5stacks last hand was where i insta sat out and got dealt hand on last table i was never folding pre got it in got wrecked ha, so dropped to $15 and down to grinding 2nl again that quickly kinda made me have change of heart too this 8stack doesnt seem wise to me im tiltly and spewy at the best of times so if i go monkey tilt i might not drop down in time or at all be busto ha.
So im changing this challenge to just a generic bankroll challenge meaning im gonna have to prove to myself im winning beating a stake got some sort of edge before moving up again so going the conservative route up the stakes sorry if i was a leprechaun had endless pot of gold for this hobby sure id go gamble route but i dont so wont, ill move up again at $249 this time move down again at $174 if goes bad again but preferably beat 5nl move up at $585, not going to play any omaha for 3months just going to try focus on this and see how high can get up the ladder

gambled played the $109 wasnt to be won 2bounties busted just after late regisitration ran into bb's kinda top hand he cold called the 4b dont know if hes meant call he was station to maybe i could found better spot with him behind, or not felt shitty as my hand was kinda merged value bluff vs another maniac raising bu it was ahead of his range and most of time the bigblinds too but equally wouldn't be surprised getting called off super light by bb even a junky sc even though we were decently deep so dont know how feel about that dumb idea i guess gonna have to grind that loss out now at 2nl :[
gonna withdraw the bounties won so down what $59 on it
back to micro cash games, hate tournaments anyway too slow pace of play and 9handed and cant really make any mistakes and get away with it recoup from spew or tilt you screw up you screw up on top of that its just kinda boring unless final 2 tables.
didnt actually make a mistake though dont think other than maybe a slight too loose ai, not calling a raise on flop which was maybe not mistake but prob was first him as i saw him play flick back through hands he played in the re player, also one too loose cbet mw that should of just check called or folded instead or potentially raised
oh well made it till late registration then busted soon after that
i been up ages and im kinda pissed off and dont really fancy playing so just gonna chill do something else this evening cause kinda feel tilty at the scenario sit there for donkeys to go out like that

kept playing as had a chest got enough to buy a $5.5 tournament ticket so hopped into a turbo tourney just cause thought why not, so recouped my loss on the $109 thankfully just bloody dragged, came out around 100place mark got $125.53 including bounties way i came out was rubbish as was near top spots then another deep stack i got stacked by it was probably a mistake toom uch of a risk at that point but he was wide opening so ship was i dont know i dont play tournaments, maybe stupid as the bounty on my own head was big as in if you bust you get about the same amount as busting me actually bit more so maybe it was dumb felt right to pressure him though for basically his life he woke up with kks which i blocked and qs i blocked i dont know, tournaments are so annoying cause your purely fishing for spot to appear, no dynamics and back and forth to it and just slow slow pace.

happy though even though took 7and bit hrs of tournament playing least up bit $66.53 so bet than being neg whatever it was on the 109$ i been up way over 24hrs now im truly am done now might go for a leisurely nightime bike ride though stretch legs and stuff maybe

i am withdrawing the tournament money as it was purely a gamble that $109 anyway i dont play tournaments really just thought i may as well give it a shot if its a special one, normally in past enter the things and instantly regret doing so cause get bored wanna go do something else.

enjoyed single tabling though and watching all the action during the tournaments and replaying hands missed in replayer my reads on patterns felt sound as a pound cause of that, if i had the patience id single table cash games but just dont anymore

played couple hrs, werent in right mind for it today i mega spewed off stacks at regular tables more impatience not caring and was tryna drive action as was bored couldnt be bothered to wait for spots to appear so maybe 1 tilt stack 2 just meh bad bad plays stacks...
changed to zoom cause i wanted to play honestly i just werent in mood to wait around so even though i may have no edge in zoom i took a little bash in it played rest of session in that which was majority of it as basically played 1/2 hr of regular tables donked 3 stacks off cause mindset was wrong thought screw this cant be bothered play properly wait for spots lets just play zoom least i can get into spots quick have some fun even if im the fish.
so 2hrs and im down on sesh couple stacks overall.
