You can 3-bet some overpairs for value/protection, but probably flat with any made hand below 99. In theory, I think you're supposed to float the check-raise very wide, with any two cards that have a BDFD (Snowie calls the check-raise with QJs/JTs!) but it's probably fine to put some wheel draws into your 3b bluff-raising range, as you've got equity even if villain calls with TT/99. Villain's real-life check-raising range is probably quite narrow/strong, but it's the kind of board where he should check-raise bluff a lot, as he can't check-call with his own overcards and he should know you have quite a lot of whiffs in your range.

this is the crux. I sense a population read, based on getting x/r frequently that both a/t and regs do this on this board, but like I said, i'm in training mode in these spots at the mo.

Life Update,

50nlz Poker has hardly featuredin my life for the best part of a month as I've been all over the place.

I have been on lol rec heater 5nlz and 10nlz though, mostly on my phone. I've won close to 200 bucks 5nlz/10nlz this month (no idea how many hands, don't track nuffink on my phone).

Reason I was down South in the old smoke was doing up my flat prior to putting it on the market, kinda helps when your old lady is a proper job designer.

Re Hand 2, why do you rarely flat BB v SB. I'd expect most people to have a massive calling range there. Do you have a super high 3bet in that spot?

Coincidentally I was looking at 3bet spots the other day and noticed I had 61%!!! success in that spot.

It's very logical.

Regs will SB steal wide at Zoom, so their fold to BB 3bet range is going to be very wide. Nobody wants to play oop with a capped range versus and uncapped range, so their SB defence to BB is 4bet/fold. Up to 50 nlz, 4bet ranges tend to be linear and strong, which means even more SB folds and when SB does come over the top, BB hero can overfold, because he is printing money the rest of the time.

The key question is...at what level does that population read fade away? I'm hoping to find out about 100nlz b4 much longer.

Call. Don't fold a gutter + overcard in position BvB, especially with deep stacks. I can't speak for that villain, but his check-raising range in theory contains loads of crap that check-folds the turn. The small sizes of both your bet and villain's raise mean ranges are still wide/weak. i.e. He's making a cheap attempt to get you off AK/AQ. You should call with all your actual draws and made hands. KT also blocks some of his made hands that could be check-raising for protection, and is already beating stuff like 87cc/76ss etc.
