OK so I thought about whether or not I should bother making one of these as I'm unsure as to the value it can provide but it probably wont be -EV so here we are.

Some background first of all. I used to play pre black Friday when I was 15/16/17 and still in school. My first job out of school was actually dealing a weekly game in a hotel conference room. Would always grind a small roll up some but being 18/19 for some reason or another (Holidays, Party's etc) I'd withdraw and spend it. I can't remember why or how but I basically stopped playing and watching the game all together.

Currently, like most of the PGC threads recently, I got back into the game during lockdown and fell back in love with the game. I managed to grind the roll up to about €600 from my €100 deposit starting at 2nl and going up to 10nl. I recently went on some major tilt though after losing like 6BI in quick succession and went to a higher limit to chase the days loses. I'm sure you've all heard how that one ends before so I'm now down to €80 and starting over again. Obviously mental game is a massive leak that needs to be fixed quick so some focus will be on that. If anyone has any reading etc on that I'd be thankful for the help.

Hopefully I keep this thread going. I'm not too sure if I'll update after every session or what but I'll be popping in some graphs and hands weekly at least. One final point I'd like to make is that I know €80 isn't the best roll for 5nl but I'll be topping whatever the difference if to €200 once I get paid on the 28th of this month which will have me back to a healthy roll for this stake.

Thanks,
Tusdar

OK so quick little update after my first session today. Have a good few hands I wanna review in the AM and then I'll post them in here tomorrow. Just thought I'd at least drop the graph for today in. Also I actually had a couple of spin tickets so my bankroll started at $90 not $80.

Hands:1501
Net Won: $29.16
All-in Adj bb/100: 30.81
bb/100: 38.85

As promised here are a few hands from last nights session.

    PokerStars - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

    BTN: $5.00 (100 bb)

    UTG: $5.00 (100 bb)
    MP: $4.74 (94.8 bb)

Hero posts SB $0.02, BB posts $0.05

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.07) Hero has 8 8
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.12, Hero raises to $0.50, BB calls $0.45, fold

    Flop: ($1.12, 2 players) 7 4 6
Hero bets $0.65, BB calls $0.65

    Hero bets $3.05, fold

    Results: $2.42 pot ($0.10 rake)
    Final Board: 7 4 6 T

    Hero wins $2.32

Reviewing this hand I have no idea why I decided to overbet. Villain was 64/50/10 but its only over 15 hands which isn't a very large sample. I know I picked up equity with the double gutter so I was betting for protection but this probably could have been achieved with a 60-80% pot bet instead. Seems very spewy.

      PokerStars - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

Hero bets $0.55, CO calls $0.55

      River: ($2.06, 2 players) 3

      Results: $2.06 pot ($0.09 rake)
      Final Board: 9 2 5 5 3

      CO wins $1.97

Should I be looking villain up here with top pair? Raised the flop for protection against his overcards and thin value vs 77/88 etc but when he calls the turn C-Bet I had no idea where I was and checked river hoping to just get to showdown.

        PokerStars - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

        River: ($1.85, 2 players) 6

Bad bluff on the river here? Or do I have fold equity versus his 9's, 88/77 etc?

Here villain is obviously betting very polar and as I was OOP and is was only a SRP I decided to raise polar myself. Not sure if I should actually have a calling range here as the board texture is very dry and I should let villain continue to bet.

When it gets checked to me on the Ace turn should I bet here with my pair + open ended? If I bet small and he calls I could check back river and get to showdown. Or should I just check like I did and hope to get to showdown?

Lastly I'm wondering if it's right to call my stack of here with such a wet dynamic board? In 5nl you do gets lots of players doing this with 7x,Qx and two hearts, as well as their QQ+.

OK so I found the play at 5nl just too damn tilting so I deposited up to $200 for an aggressive shot at 10nl. I know 20BI isn't anywhere near standard but I'm very comfortable with my play at those stakes, especially on a Saturday.

Didn't have a lot of time to grind today but got 1000 hands done between the 10nl tables and a bit of 5nl zoom. Got some good boosts to my BR with $25 in a gold chest and a small bit in the Cardex chest.

No notable hands so won't be posting any from todays session.

Just a load of betting pot every single street all the time, min 3 betting etc. It wasn't actually putting me on tilt I'd just forgotten how bad the play was at that stake.

OK so apologies for the lack of updates the last week, had been super busy. Still hitting up 5NL and was working some 10NL in there too but ran like **** so had to drop back down to 5NL only.

              A quick look at the stats by stakes up to now;

              10NL - Hands:1038, Net Won: -$44.98, All in Adj Dif: $80.45, bb/100: -43.33, All in Adj bb/100: 34.17

              5NL - Hands: 6371, Net Won: $66.99, All in Adj Dif: $-11.18, bb/100: 21.03, All in Adj bb/100: 17.52

              5NLz - Hands: 626, Net Won: $1.04, All in Adj Dif: $3.21, bb/100: 3.32, All in Adj bb/100: 13.58

              Bankroll currently sits at $229.65

Gonna have another shot at 10NL once it's gets to $250 and hopefully I don't run like **** again and can get the BR back up to an amount to stay there.

Played all 10nl today for a very small amount of hands. Finally got the run good I'd been waiting for and got as high as +$44 today. Misplayed TT against a maniac with a 50% 3bet though and lost my stack then got it in good on the turn with a pair of queens and a flush draw vs the nut flush draw, river completed the flush and the pot went to villain :/. Also got 3000 stars coins in my gold chest so got some cash rebates to boost the roll.
